a) i think you have 60 days (dati ito pero wala na akong makitang reference sa WA website) to accept the nomination, sign the agreement and reply to their email

b) then they will issue the visa invitation via skillselect, from here you will have another 60 days to lodge your visa application, otherwise the EOI/Skillselect invitation will expire..

Good am po..Na check ko Skills occupation list each state. .sa WA lang may available s skills assessed ko..electronic engineering technician for visa 190..what do u think po? Is it good to go go go? Anong chance makahanap agad ng work pagdating aussie? I've checked jobsites konti lang po ang may opening for my field..d po b masyadong risky if we'll migrate as family if ever granted a visa? Medyo malaking money din ang involve ng pag migrate..really have to think twice bago makipagsapalaran uli..please advice bros and sis...It would really help a lot if somebody can share their migrating experiences in WA....thanks a lot...

@bachuchay, we almost have the same concerns. ACT lang may listed nominated occupation ko, bringing the family, at job concerns. its a big risk to take pero sabi nga "no risk, no returns" so i'm willing to take the risk. buy the ticket to WA first then see what happens next. may option ka naman magtrabaho muna sa ibang states di ba, pero within 5yrs kailangan mo magserve ng 2-yr residency sa WA. so kung wala ka pang mahanap sa WA, try other states muna.

Maghintay nalang ako makakuha ng points sa ielts kasi kulang points ko.. kung meron lang sana akong points sa work experience.. 18mos lang kasi yon...walang choice kundi sa ielts babawi which is nahirapan ako huhu

pwede, basta kailangan makapag 2-yr residency ka within 5yrs.

tama si @bachuhay... here is the process..

1. submit your EOI (of course once you have your IELTS & assessment)
2. if you will apply for Visa190, apply for SS for that state, this is a separate process
3. pag na-approved na ang SS mo, State will invite you thru skillselect. They will need your EOI reference number..

meron namang rare cases, for in-demand jobs, pag nakita ng State ang EOI mo,
the State can directly invite you to apply for SS.. pero yun nga bihira lang yun..
mas effective pa rin talga ang mag-apply ka ng SS separately..

July pa ako magtake ng ielts para malaman ko narin yong changes sa diac. Hehe after makakuha ako ng 7 all sa ielts maglagay na ako ng timeline hehe.. sa ielts lang talaga matatagalan. Im still considering canberra kasi lapit lang din sa nsw sa mga relatives ko pero mas prefer ko siguro WA para maiba naman. ^^

Changes to State sponsorship
6 June 2013

From 1 July 2013 the process for State sponsorship will be changing and the Department of Training and Workforce Development will no longer accept direct applications.

The new process will be as follows:

1 Submit an expression of interest to the Department of Immigration and Citizenship via the SkillSelect database.

2 The Department selects applicants from SkillSelect and offers an invitation to apply for State sponsorship.

3 If invited to apply, you will be given a unique identifier to submit an application to the Department of Training and Workforce Development.

To be considered for State sponsorship you must meet the current 2012-13 criteria for State sponsorship which is available on the How to apply for State sponsorship page.

It is anticipated that a new criteria will be implemented on 1 October 2013.

Pwede kaya mag.apply muna ako sa WA ngayon tapos while magretake ako ng ielts since 6 in each category naman ang required nila sa ielts. Kailangan ko kasi mag 7 all for diac application. Pwede kaya ang idea nato?

Kung invited kana sa wa state to apply may expiration din ba invitation nila?
