Hi to all,
If you are new to Melbourne and do not have any relatives, friends or family to guide you where to live once you make the big move, I think the following information will assist:
1. Choose an accommodation that is close to public transportation and shops like grocery
2. Choose a suburb/place that is not far from the city (Remember, public transpo in outer suburbs are not that great)
3. Check google, google maps, real estate.com to see the reviews of the suburb you are going to live in (don't take the reviews so seriously, just read through and get some information)
4. Always remember, rent MUST be cheaper if you live further away from the city and if more people are sharing
6. House sharing is common in Australia and most people do that regardless of nationality, race, gender, etc.
7. Once you are here and have an idea of the area, it is very easy to find an accommodation that will suit your budget and needs.
I am just seeing posts from others on here about accommodation with ridiculous prices even they are in the outer areas. We should help our fellow kababayans and NOT rip them off.
Cheers!

Message me on here if you have questions or if you need some assistance, maybe I can help. By the way, it is winter time in Australia and Melbourne is one of the coldest state (or should I say the coldest). At the moment it is bloody freezing here but hey I reckon you picked the best state/City to live in...haha..That sounds bias but I reckon a lot of Melbournians will agree to me..lol
Cheers!
