Hey guys, I just received an invitation to apply for subclass 189. Can I click on the "Apply Visa" even though I do not have all the requirements yet? Here's the complete message:

An invitation has been issued to apply for this visa. This invitation is valid for 60 days from the date of issue.
Do you wish to start lodging a visa application for this visa now?

@RED @RED G'Day,Mayt! yes you can start lodging your application now, gawa ka na ng immi account mo, you will have to answer first around 17 sections of questionnaires din and you can save/edit as you please until ma submit mo na ang visa application... so pwede mong umpisahan lang kahit wala pa yung complete set of requirements... ;-)

yes pwede. just save the draft muna or pwede din nmn submt mo na basta asap makaupload ka ng documents ok lng un.

Thanks @BoyPintados @Xiaomau82. Nafillupan ko na yung 17 pages and andun na ako sa window ng "SUBMIT NOW". Can I still continue to this section kahit di pa complete requirements? and kailan malalaman kung kailan pwede kumuha ng nbi and medicals? kailangan kasi namin kumuha ng PCC sa japan and I heard na medyo matagal daw yun at kailangan daw ng letter of request kung kanino ipapasa.

@RED - pay now.. submit requirements later..
you have 60days to pay... even if you dont have the requirements..
your pcc/medical can be done later.. if you dont have that, it can only delay your CO allocation and then visa grant...

so if you dont pay now, and wait for your PCCs, then you 60 days will expire..

@RED yung 60 days for submission of visa application lang yun, which is until payment, pag di mo pa nabayaran within 60 days from date of invitation, that means mag eexpire na ung invitation mo... yung submission of docs naman from payment date naman di na kasama yun sa 60 days, another timeframe na rin yan, so based naman sa mga tropa natin ditp sa forum, even without the CO Allocation yet (Case Officer to review your uploaded documents and will facilitate your visa application), prinepare na lahat ng pwedeng gawing, and frontloaded all required / recommended documents so that when a CO is allocated, no more further requests, and possibly direct visa grant already.

Thanks @BoyPintados on your reply. So pano niyo nalalaman kung ano ang requirement sa medical if wala pang case officer? tsaka nakita ko lang sa signature mo magkaiba pa yung NBI at police clearance, required po talaga parehas? kala ko NBI lang.

@RED no worries, Mayt! ;-) upon lodgement of your visa brad, ibig sabihin fully paid na and open/active na yung Immi account mo, there's a hyperlink below the list of documents to attach that says 'Organise your health exams...' it's a basic YES-NO questionnaire regarding your health, then pag na submit mo na yun, merong lalabas na Referral letter containing your HAP ID (na need mo ibigay to the accredited clinic) and the tests you are required to take based on the yES-No questionnaire na sinagot mo... hope this helps... ;-)

@RED NBI will do, meron lang akong police clearance because requirement din sya sa employment, eh i just got onboard a new job while i was submitting my EOI kaya meron akong mga clearance2x, sinama ko nlng police clearance ko just to be sure... kase pasok pa naman sa 60 files na limit... upon lodgement kase meron kang 60 files maximum docs na e upload mo, based dun sa document checklist and your personal choice of supporting documents to back-up your claimed points. ;-)

@BoyPintados yung NBI ba bro pwede na kumuha kahit di pa ako bayad? uuwi kasi ako ng pinas (by the way, OFW ako) and isabay ko na din sana pagkuha ng NBI para di ko na siya balikan sa susunod.

Yung PCC for abroad pwede na din ba kami kumuha, if may idea ka?

@RED nasa SG kaba bro? or Japan? what do you mean di pa bayad? sa visa lodgement? oo bro pwedeng pwede, kinuha ko ung nbi ko last yr pa even before lodgement, kaya lang problema naman ngayon yung initial entry deadline, kaya kumuha ako panibagong nbi... ;-)

@BoyPintados nasa Malaysia ako ngayon kuha ako ng para sa pinas kasi 2 years palang ako dito. yung sa Japan naman, kay fiancee ko yun, nagstay kasi siya sa Japan for a year.

Regarding sa bayad, I mean yung visa lodgement. naghahanap pa kasi kami ng magagamit na credit card e. while waiting for credit card na magagamit balak na namin kumuha ng nbi etc.

@RED oh okay, kunin nyo na mga requirements bro kase iba-iba din yung leadtime ng mga clearances, para ma frontload nyo na lahat nga mga required docs upon visa lodgement. ;-)

Question po sa mga nag lodge ng 2014.
Diba sa skilled employment for the past 10 years lng? Since 2014 na po now kng susundin un, dapat ung assessment will start from 2004 to 2014.

Anu po ang sinunod nyu na years for skilled employment? Ung ni assess ng assessing body nyu?

Yung Acs assessment ko kse from year 2000 to 2014. All related to AProgrammer. My skilled years ay "after May 2006" diploma lng kse qualification ku.

Anung Month po ako dpat mag start to claim points? Thanks

Hi @sflor88 . Not even sure if I am sure or not but I tried reading it before because my fiancee is also a programmer, and in my understanding, the experience only starts on the skilled years since the previous experiences will be under the educational qualification. So in your case the counting will start on May 2006.

Again, this is just my personal opinion and this is how I understand it.

@BoyPintados hello po. .newbie in d forum..hehe...if i may ask sana to clarify .konti confusion lng...di ba need mag upload din ng passport photos after lodging.. indicated kasi sa checklist na labelled with applicant's name.so labelled yung photo mismo ba (like edit ko sa photoshop the names namin) or it means filename lng labelled? how did you do yours @Red or anyone else? thanks advance!!!

yes mam, after scanning your passport sized photo, e edit mo photoshop / paint tas type mo yung complete name mo Mam. ;-) yung pic mismo dapat may name sa baba. ;-) all the best!!! ;-)

Pinas lang naman po sakin pero simula nung pinanganak ako naka 3 lipat kami ng bahay.. kailangan ko po ba ilagay lahat yun?.. iniisip ko baka kasi in general ko lang nilagay tapos sa form80 (if ever i-ask ako) makita na 3 pala nging address ko sa philippines maging issue pa..

sorry po i know ang babaw ng tanong ko.. just want to be sure..

hi Mam! kung countries of residence naman, then pinas ka ok lang yun, kase ang specs dun na sa form80... if meron ka lang out of philippines na residency yun need mo e detail yun. ;-)

there should not be any issues with that say if you just lived within manila for instance...

however ibang usapan if residence mo nilagay cagayan de oro city but your place of work is manila.
