    @elleb1

    Thats good po at NSW kayo kasi mas mdali hehe! Ngtry ulit ako mg-apply online sa NSW AMES website, confusing lang kasi ang nakalagay ay ang next available class ay "July 2011"..ang weird lng lol! Bsta po ata TAFE libre nman..nung bagong dating din ako dati dto, according kasi sa CFO, pde ako mg attend ng free english class kaso nung ngpunta ako sa TAFE at inaassess nila ang english ko, hndi nila ako tinanggap kasi maayos nmn dw po ung english..ang tinatanggap lng dw nila ay ung hndi dw po marunong mg english..dina direct nila ako sa ibang TAFE kaso tinamad napo ako noon lol!

    Hindi pa po ako ngstart kasi kaka enquire ko lng sa TAFE last friday at kaka email lng nila sakin ng deets eh ngemail back ako pra itanong kung may iba pa ba sila afternoon or night classes since im working during daytime..intayin ko lng ang reply tomorrow and will let u know agd kung ano kinalabasan..

    PR napo kayo agad pagdating dto? kasi po ang hinahanap agd nila na docs ay PR visa at latest IELTS within past 2 years..

    Nga pla po..off topic..nakita ko sa signature nyo na Microbiologist po kayo..MLS din po kayo or ibang science field kayo?

    Ur welcome! Ah ok po! Mejo matagal tagal pa pla pero panigurado po yan ay laging available, iba iba lng po siguro ang institution na mgooffer, either uni or TAFE..pag TAFE free nman po or maliit lang ang bayad except nlng po kung tatanggalin nila ng govt subsidy ang course na yan, kasi balita po ay babawasan dw ng govt ang budget for TAFE and sna hndi yan matanggal pra makatulong sa mga nahhrapang makakuha ng work professionaly..pag Uni hndi ko lang sure kung may bayad or maliit lng ang byad..cge update kita once na makareciv ako ng balita from TAFE ;-)

    Ah ok po..hindi ko lang po sure about sa mga industrial microbiologist pero based sa mga job search tools na ginagamit ko, prang andami ko nkikita na nghahanap ng chemist either in medical field or any other field..dto po kasi sa mga pathology labs, kahit anong science course tinatanggap nila sa mga labs kya panigurado po na may mhhanap ikaw na work..even ur husband, ung mga environmental agencies dto nghahanap din ng mga microbiologist...buti po kayo mejo malawak ang scope ng field nyo, pde sa mga medical, environment or industrial while mga lab scientist na katulad ko po ay limited lang kami sa healthcare or hospitals kya andami namin kakompitensya pagdating sa paghahanap ng work lol!

    i think ul be fine po sa pghahanap ng work as long u know how to make resume and cover letter in aussie form, eh mggng ok po kayo..marami nmn po sa online on how-tos but in my case kasi I have to improve my interview skills kasi I really tend to block-out kya kahit alam ko ang mga sagot, I end up answering nothing or incorrect kya madalas unsuccessful ang mga inapplayan ko lol! Kya naisipan ko mgenroll sa class na un, thats my last resort napo lol! ;-) Cge ill update you agd ;-)

    Verify ko lang kung libre ba talaga yung AMEP, wala kasi akong nakikitang fee tapos ang nakalagay sa course description nila is

    "To enrol you will need to attend an interview at one of our campuses so we can assess your English level and arrange a suitable learning plan for you. See below list of over 70 teaching locations and the home tutor scheme."

    Thanks :)

    Hi! Yes free po sya if PERMANENT RESIDENT or CITIZEN po ang applicant..if hindi ay may fee tlg..yan ay according po sa TAFE, I'm not quite sure with other institution..at yan ay according din po sa experience ko during my email enquiry and personal inquiry with TAFE..during my first night of class ay hindi nman nila ako siningil at ilang ulit din nila mention na free for PR and citizens..you need to ENROL (yan ay term nila sa mga student either free of fee or paying student) xmpre po kasi considered ka rin na student kahit free ang course mo..they have to assess your level of english pra alam po nila kung saang english program nila ikaw nababagay kasi iba iba po sila ng english classes based sa needs ng students..karamihan po ng english classes nila ay free, ilan din po ang may bayad..so far dto sa TAFE na pinapasukan ko, ung Jobseeking for skilled migrants (parang Skillmax) and Advanced Communication for Professional migrants course ay free..if ur in doubt po u can email the TAFE na pinakamalapit sa inyo or gusto nyo pasukan or u can enquire personally and they can assess ur level of english right there and then..un din kasi ginawa ko, I want to clarify the schedules and all about the program so I just went there personally and just by talking to the teachers they can tell nman na how good is your english and advice you of what class to take..ung nangyari sakin sakto the next day start ng klase so pinag start na nila ako agd lol! Tska pla sa Jobseeking for Skilled Migrants course hahanapan ka po nila ng latest IELTS at least 6.0 band score..hope that helps ;-)

Napractice rin ang interview skills ko. After ko matapos yung course in 1-2 weeks nakakuha na ko ng work related sa experience ko.

    Habang may extra (unproductive) time and if u believe makatulong sa inyo ang courses, yes go go go, lalo na if free. And make sure you dont miss a day doing concrete steps sa iyong job application attempts din, huwag gawing excuse na busy na sa studies kaya di nakakuha ng job

    Assessed Occupation: Industrial Engineer (IE 233511)
    Achieved Goal: Australia PR (Permanent Resident). Thanks God!

    ...sharpening my core gifts now...
    ...working on new, better goals...
