Hi. Pa advice naman sainyo. Nagpeprepare nako ng mga documents ko ang kulang ko nalang is ung COE ko with duties and reponsibilities sa existing employer ko. Ang prob ko is standard lang ung binibigay ng Employer ko na COE from HR. Napakiusapan ko ung manager ko na pumirma ng document na ako ang maglalagay ng duties and responsibilities pero hindi daw pwedeng may company letterhead kasi against sa company policy pag hindi galing HR ung document. Nagbabasa ko ng pdf from ACS kelangan daw is statutory document or affidavit. May nakagawa na ba sainyo ng ganun na nakapasa sa ACS as suitable? Turuan nyo naman ako ng steps how dun sa mga may kagaya kong situation? Salamat ng marami.

Hi @andrew_bonn. I had the same problem before. You can ask your manager to make a statutory declaration document stating his working relationship with you, together with your job duties & responsibilities. Then you need to go to a lawyer to get it notarized. Dapat i-sign ng manager mo yung document infront of the lawyer. Tinanggap ng ACS yung akin and suitable naman yung result.

same here, bachelor degree major in ICT, 4 years tinanggal... T_T

do they count by months also? kasi ang natira sa kin is 3 years and 8 months.
secondly, pag nag lodge ba sa eoi yung eksaktong date lang sa acs ang kukunin? for example sa case ko 3 years and 8 months lang or kung kelan ako nag lodge ng eoi dun magkakacount for example nag lodge ako ng eoi this march which is exactly 4years na ako sa work, do 1 year experience counts? or same lang?

@kickerz, Kasama yung months after mo mag file sa ACS up to the date the EOI lodging mo, as long as nasa same company ka pa. Ic-compute yun automatically ng EOI system nila. However, same lang ang mac-claim mo na points sa 3yrs 8months or 4 years.

to add lang, gawa ka na ng template for each company na hinihingan mo ng coe w/duty statements. lagay mo na lahat ng data na dapat at kelangan nakalagay. tapos yan ang isend mo sa hr. sabihan m sila na for "printing" nalang ang kulang niyan with the company letter head and pirma. inattached ko din ung sample ng coe/duty statements ng acs para ma intindehan nila na lahat ng info na nasa template mo eh kelangan. this worked for me, try mo din sir.

@tuchul thanks for the reply. Unfortunately ung manager ko is hindi ung taong mapapunta ko sa lawyer's office to sign in the presence of. Malaking favor na sa tingin ko pra sa kanya na pumayag syang isign nya in plain paper ung duties and responsibilities ko. @magoo_z salamat din pero tinry ko na ang sabi naman ng HR namin standard lang daw ung format nila..hayy...how about ung affidavit? Meron na ba nakagawa sainyo in an affidavit format? Parang ung mga Affidavit of Loss? Eto naman is parang Affidavit of Confirmation ek ek..para ipasign ko nalang ung manager ko sa isang affidavit na ako ang gagawa tapos papa notaryo ko nalang..in a way less hassle sa manager ko na hindi ko na kelangan isama ko pa sya sa Notary public office. Is it possible? May nakapag try na ba sainyo nun? Salamat.

@andrew_bonn - ako nag affidavit ako sa isang company ko kasi standard din lang daw coe nila. Gawa ka lang ng affidavit na stating lahat ng details na need ng acs tapos indicate mo full details ng previous manager mo. Inilagay ko sa affidavit yung full company signature ng manager ko and pinasign ko sya. Tapos panotarize and ctc mo. So far stage 4 parin ACS ko hehe. Goodluck.

@lexxus penge naman ako ng sample ng ginawa mong affidavit. kung pwede mo isend sa email [email protected]. Wala kasi akong idea..what do u mean by ctc? Sorry newbie lang kasi ako dto. Salamat

I was browsing the skill select reports for Feb 2014 and it looks like we now need 70pts to qualify:

No, 60 pts is still qualified however since your occupation is about to reach its ceiling for this program year, mas may edge yung applicants na nagsubmit ng EOI with higher points.
It means for this round only 70 pointers and above lang yung mga nainvite. Please take note also of the visa date of effect. So kung 60 points lang, medyo mahirap na siguro ma invite kasi kung icheck mo yung previous invitations, may nainvite na 60 pointers pero yung visa date of effect (date kung kelan pinasa yun EOI) ay august pa.

question lang regarding sa affidavit since wala akong COE na may detailed job description, dapat ba 1 format lang yung affidavit na gagamit? let say I worked in 5 different companies and lahat ng COE nila walang jd, can i use 1 format ng affidavit or pwedeng magkakaiba? then ipapasign ko na lang sa mga naging boss

Another question, i graduated @ Mapua Makati (BSIT), and 4 terms per year kame,
so yung 4 year study nagiging 3.5yrs since 4 terms per year kame (Quar Term) .

Do you think, magiging result neto is AQF Diploma lang? Kindly advise.

We already had skills assessment since 2011. I know it was not applicable for now btw my husbands assessment then was Analyst Programmer. We stop our Australian dream due to lack of points by that time. We are looking for possibility this time. What do you think guys should we send to ACS our old skills assessment so it could help our new application. We are no longer updated.

tingin ko lang po, equivalent to AQF bachelor ang qualification nyo and closely related naman ang occupation nyo so they will deduct at least 2 years from your work experience for suitability purposes. @tuchul hi! i want to ask yong End Date ng COE for current employer, kasi sabi ng ACS guidelines they don't accept "To Date" as the end date. so ano dapat? thanks!

@jomel: If current employer sir, pede ang "To Date".

"If your employment reference is “Current”, it MUST be dated and the “To Date” will be noted as the date of the submission of the skills assessment."

For further information on Review or Appeal applications, please refer to the Review & Appeal section in the “Skills Assessment Guidelines for Applicants”.
Looks like we have to submit another new skills assessment application. Tsaka meron din nadagdag sa length of work ng husband ko for 1yr. and months since our previous skills assessment. Hmmm. need more research. Don't know some provisions on skills assessment of ACS after those days.

hi everybody, i am currently an IT student (diploma) here in sydney. I had 1 year applications developer experience from texas instruments (philippines) and I had been a part-time web developer for an advertising company based in the UK which has a satellite office in Pampanga (philippines) for 4 years +.

My question po is, will ACS recognize the 4 years + worth of web developer experience if I am not receiving any formal payslip from the company since the company was in the UK?

How will I be able to convince ACS with regard to my experience even if it was part -time.

I think that's for negative results or if you have contentions with the number of years deducted from your experience.

Kung nagwork ako sa ibang bansa and meron akong COE and affidavit signed ng colleague, pwede ko ba syang ipanotarized dito sa atin? or kelangan kung san currently nakabased ung colleague na nagsign ng affidavit?

Hindi po. The Australian study requirement is for education acquired in Australia.
