Visa 175 with Parents as dependents...

Hello po... Ask ko lang if meron ba sa inyo ang naglodge ng 175 application at sinama ang parents as dependents?

Hi @KTP! Ako nilagay ko yung lola ko na dependant ko, pero non-migrating dependant. I have to submit pa nga as attachment yung form 47A. hehehe Pero na-lodge ko na yung application last April 14 lang. ;-)

@stolich18 mei plan ka ba na dalahin lola mo sa au? Nagbasa basa pa ako, mukhang di pede ang parents as dependents... Parent visa lang ata talaga sila... I'll lodge my application on the 30th april. Nilagay ko nalang parents ko as other family members...

Actually pwede ang parents.. if you can prove na they have been relying on you to survive with their basic and other needs. Parang mahirap matunayan yun eh. And dapat sa iyo naka-depende talaga. If naman parent visa, kahit contributory visa, tagal pa din ng queue. Ang plan na nga lang namin is tourist visa na lang siya visit visit. Tapos siguro by age 65, or retirement age, meron din visa for that eh. Mas madali na siguro siya ma-petition.

@ktp actually wala naman ako plan kase gusto nya dito lng eh hehehe pero justfor the sake na ideclare ko sya na dependent skn...

I declared my mom as non-migrating dependent, pero most likely, I'll go the Bryann way na tourist visa na lang, hirap patunayan kasi na sakin sya nakadepend when majority of her time nasa mga kapatid ko sya outside pinas

Ngayon napapaisip tuloy ako if i need to submit form 1023 to correct my application, parang gusto ko kase tanggalin lola ko as dependant kase bka irequire pa na magpamedical... Hmmm pano kaya? What do you guys suggest?

Now that you've mentioned it... nicheck ko yung booklet 6 and yes, even non-migrating dependents kelangan magpamedical hahahah! Parang gusto ko tuloy tanggalin din yung nanay ko bwahahah!

Didnt mention if PCCs are required though haahah!

I've read in some forums na may mga CO na nagrrequire sa knila to undergo nga yung medical. And then nabasa ko sa DIAC website na yung form 47A is required to be sent to Adelaide by mail. Sabi pa nila, medyo mahirap iprove ung dependency ng parents to the applicant since kelangan tlga fully dependent sila sayo on basic necessities like food, shelter, clothing etc.. Especially if hindi kayo living in the same residence, tatanungin ka pa ng CO bkt ganon. hehehe
And yung DIAC naman kase, tinitingnan daw nila ung possibility na bka gusto mo raw kase dalhin in the future ung dependants mo kahit non-migrating sila ngayon... So the question is, gusto ba natin sila isama don, or hindi? hehehe :-) Advise ng iba, wag na raw muna isama as dependant kase it may lead to some complexities pa with your visa application if wala namang need to do it. Anyway daw, you can still bring them there in future via Parent visa ata pero un nga lang, mas magastos raw. Or yung iba holiday visa na lang.

Hmmm... so ibig sabihin sa part ng online forms or form 80/1221 about dependents/non-migrating dependents, dapat ilalagay lang if ever is spouse and kids? Huwag yun mga brothers and sisters at baka hingan pa medical at police clearance?

@Bryann - yan din ang pagkaintindi ko.. anyone na hindi kasama sa application should be categorized as "other family members" ..

Thanks for the reply. Nabasa ko nga din sa ibang forums, dapat sa other family members sila.. since hindi mo naman talaga sila dependents. Kasi hihingan nga sila medicals.

Yep ganyan den pagkakaintindi ko... kahit non-migrating dependents, they need to undergo health exams den.

Re: parents - Mukhang ganung route na den dadaanan ko pagdating sa parents ko, same kri bryann... mukhang tourist tourist na lang muna hayzz

hi all nalilito din ako sa part na yan,Pero tama ba na spouse ko ilagay sa migrating dependent?or understood na yun sa online application na isama ko sya at no need to put under migrating dependent?

If sa online form yan, hindi po ata kasama si spouse. Wala po sa dropdown list eh. Hehehehe.

gusto ko sana dalhin mother ko sa AU (my father is already deceased) .

@sipareko - as far as i know, ang tinitingnan ng DIAC ay kailangan dependent syo ang mother mo.. in your case na only child ka, mas okay un.. but you still have to prove na you support your mother financially at kung nakatira kayo sa isang bahay...

here is the definition from DIAC:

Other Dependent Relatives
Other relatives of you or your partner may be considered in the application if they meet all of the following:
- they have no other relative able to care for them in their own country and they either:
- are not currently married, engaged or in a de facto relationship
- are usually resident in your household
- rely on you for financial support for their basic needs and you have supported them for a substantial period
- rely on you more than any other person or source.

Example: An aged, unmarried relative.

@sipareko Tama si lock_code2004 mas madali syang gawing dependent especially if you're supporting her financially. Try answering yung form 47A. Andon kase yung details of information na hihingiin nila sayo regarding your dependent. Even yung amount of monetary assistance and if para saan yun. :-)

salamat @lock_code2004 and @stolich18. tignan ko ung option na un. kasi ang worry ko e baka pag nagkaproblema ang mother ko sa medical e pati application ko ay delikado na rin.

^ ang ginagawa ng iba, di muna nila sinasama sa application.. Once nasa AU na and nakaipon ulit ng money, dun na lang nila niffile ung visa for their dependent :-) sabi sa isang forum, kahit di mo dineclare agad ung mom mo as dependent, pde mo pa rin naman sya makuha in the future. :-)

salamat @stolich18! baka kasi sa dami ng aasikasuhin pa sa mother ko e di naman umabot sa july 1 deadline. might go with the approach you mentioned.
