@shaynetot hi yep, hindi kasi pang CPA ung current work ko, pang auditor tlg and mas gusto ko yung than CPA so if ever man na magpamember ako sa professional body pagdating sa aussie i would choose ung path ng Chartered Accountant rather than CPA kaya ako sa ICAA nagpaassess. Medyo off-topic tayo dito sa PTE thread hehe.

Anyway, high score sa PTE is achievable, it just takes lot of practice. Yung IELTS kasi minsan hindi mo hawak yung kapalaran mo, depende sa mood ng magsscore ng writing and speaking mo.

so pede ba ako mag inquire dun kahit indi ako nag pa agency like sa respall?

Guys yes take the PTE now, I only prepared a month to take my PTE-Academic exam because I was busy at work I can only review every weekend or sometimes when I finish my duties at work I am reading some PTE materials. It is much better than taking the IELTS. I took my exam last July 5, got the results the same day although the PTE will say that results is ready after 5 days that night I received my results and I got the scores that I needed. Overall 80 I was really happy after getting my scores. Get the premium package so you will have two scored practices done in PTE. Go go go kaya yan Good luck to everyone preparing.

@shaynetot I took the exam last Holy Week at Trident Towers Makati. From the ground floor, you could ask assistance from security guard and reception the exact floor to take. Once you're in, prepare your passport and make sure you are not wearing any jewelry such as wedding ring, necklace etc.

The invigolator shall inform you when to enter the test room after you place all your things in the designated lockers. The testing room has at least 15 cubicles placed side by side with one officer in charge to over see test takers in an enclosed glass room partition. Airconditioning is quite fair.

To avoid tension, take a kidney break (rest room) ahead so you could concentrate well on the test proper. Better, before entering building premises. I took mine at McDonalds located adjacent the building nearby.

You shall be given a short instruction by the invigolator as you enter the test room. Once inside, FOCUS and never be distracted by other test takers who are already starting. The room is quite disturbing so don't mind what you hear and stay focused and mentally sharp. Make sure you check your earphone and mouthpiece well before you start the test. You shall be given a writing pad which is like a transparent plastic film and a pentel pen like writing stylus.

Just finished Mock Test A and result was ok to get 10 points. Di ko ine-expect score ko kasi parang walang kwenta mga pinagsasabi ko sa describe image at re-tell lecture and konting days palang ako nakapg-aral dahil busy sa work. May possibility ba na mas mababa yung possible score na makuha sa actual exam? Mamayang gabi na kasi exam ko... kinakabahan na ako... pa-include din ako sa prayers... thanks.

I used same reviewers as what others here in the forum used with much attention and time spent sa MacMillan reviewer.

@wingleaf sorry po super late reply hindi ko na masyado napapansin ung inbox medyo marami pong nagmemessage pasensya na. Nasa Page197 po ng thread na ito ung tips ko po.

Sa makati trident po ako nag-exam dun ako sa maliit na room na nakaseparate. Minsan hindi talaga maiiwasan ung mga maiingay na kasabayan mag-exam pero just focus lang, forget all others sayang din P10K+ na fee sa exam plus time and effort.

For speaking I just read naturally. Describe image ung favorite ko kasi dedescribe lang naman kung ano ung nakikita sa sa screen. Actually I described images sarcastically, kung anong nakikita ko dinescribe ko lang literally. Walang isip isip. I didn't use din po templates (do not work for me I think). Medyo madaldal ako in person hindi ako madaling maubusan ng words to say pero po kung hndi naman masyado rich sa kadaldalan, I think the templates will work.

Reading, mabilis ako magbasa. may extrang 12mins pa po natira sakin. Merong natapat na fill in the blanks sakin na puro prepositions mga 7-8 blanks yun sa isang item so try to familiarize lang sa uses ng on/in/at/to/from/etc.

Writing, I maximized the word limit. 60-70 words sa summarize article tapos tig- 299 and 300 words ung dalawa kong essays.

Listening, just don't care about the world muna. Just focus.
