Need some advise on my options as a Nurse

HaneehanHaneehan SingaporePosts: 6Member
Magandang hapon po sa inyong lahat.
I am a registered nurse po sa Pinas with a year and 3 mos experience sa tertiary hospital, but about a year plus ago, Ive tried my luck here in Singapore and I was lucky enough to land in a job. I am a ward assistant here(still patiently waiting for my promotion to enrolled nurse) since my experience is obviously not enough. I took my IELTS exam last 2013. My general average was 7.5 but my writing po is 6.5.. Will have to retake po soon. I would like to ask what would be the best option for me? Student visa? Attend a bridging course?
Confused po ako sa number of requirements from Aphra. Ano na po ba ang latest na acceptable number of experiences for nurses to be considered for working visa?
I have a sister in Sydney, and I visited here last September. The more po ako naging determined na makahanp ng job sa Australia. \

I would appreciate any advise po that is freely given.

I hope you guys can guide me po.

Maraming salamat po!

Hi, try to take OET(Occupational English Test) medyo may mahal kaysa IELTS. Maraming pumasa sa OET. kasi more on nursing/medical related sya. marami na rin choices to take english test like PTE academic online, TOEFL ibt, OET. Pwede ka retake ng IELTS basta within 6 months pagitan. pwede icombine yung 2 exam results mo. basta at least 7 lahat. sa experience mo is ok naman sa pinas at least 3 months ok na sa APHRA for the last 5 yrs. pwede ka na mag-apply sa aphra para irefer ka nila sa bridging course. dapat ok yung english test mo.

sa OZ at least 3 years overseas RN at RN na sa OZ pwede ka ng mag-apply sa general skilled migration(PR). depende sa state.
Pwede ka rin mg-conversion nursing program sa Australia for 1 year. medyo mas mahal. basta after ka conversion course dapat achieve mo na ang English requirements ng APHRA.
