Im a System Analyst dito sa Singapore graduate po ako sa STI College ng Bachelor of Science in Computer Science

Nag pa assess po ako sa AIMS and they inform.me na di daw po qualified school ko.

@rocella Check mo kung sino yung Assessing Authority for your nominated occupation and try to contact them. Sila lang yung makakapagsabi kung yung skills mo ay suitable for migration.

@AspireAU21 I think depende sa school, it may either be student or business visa. Kung nasa Pinas siya, pwede siyang magtanong sa IDP since free naman yung service nila or AECC Global. Magbook lang siyang ng appointment with them before going.

hi all esp sa nakareceive na ng Centrelink allowance..
ask ko lang po..if ever accommodation namin is temporary lang, like renting a room and walang lease agreement..pwede po ba file ng rental allowance sa Centrelink?

@chehrd hindi po. They shall be requiring you of a supplementary evidence of your rent lease agreement document. Madalas po 6 months regular term ang issuance/validity pag approve po ang rent.

@jedh_g , i understand po u nakakuha kayo ng house prior working? ano po ba docs u showed sa tenant? others saiid po kasi applicable will likely be rejected pag wala work..and kung advance naman rent ex. 6 months, bawal din daw po..

@chehrd mag u-undergo po muna ng 100 points ID verification sa house rental approval:

1. Usually po, passport
2. Visa grant
3. Assuming no work pa po kayo: utility bills named under you and your house add sa pinas
4. Bank statements

You will state po other source of funds to be able to justify that you can pay the initial house bond rated at around 1,200 AUD and weekly rent (kami po we got approved on a 340/wk) with a generated sure bank money estimated at around 6k AUD upon showing of documents (In our case business documents showing money coming in & out).

What I could suggest are the following:

5. Find a friend/relative that could check the property ahead by booking an appointment
6. Give a permission to represent the house check in your behalf
7. Property agent shall inform you if you're successful in your application.
8. Apply as many properties and consider your affordability appetite.

Hello batchmates! We had our initial entry to Sydney last March 5-15, 2017. So far, TFN and bank account opening yung natapos namin. Sa medicare e pinapabalik kami pag yung permanent move na. We love the place dahil din siguro vacation mode pa kami. We are back in the middle east para mag ipon pa kasi mataas ang cost of living tlaga lalo na sa Sydney. Target big move is last quarter of 2017 to 1st quarter of 2018. God bless to all!

@elleb1 so far so good mate on my new work. Since engineer work and in line with my field enjoyable at rewarding naman...a mix of project management and clients service and doing office reports. Yep as of now this setup could work for me and my wife.

Just arrived in Sydney yesterday. Naayos na din tfn, bank, local number and medicare. Just got my 1st interview na din kanina. Pls pray for me na sana makuha ko ang job. Next week siguro baka bili ng 2nd hand car. Staying kami ng wife ko dito sa Dee Why sa cousin ko. Thanks!

Mganda yung initial entry khit short period lng. Nagustuhan namin dun kc pasyal2x pa kmi ewan ko lng sa big move kc dun na yung pressure na mkahanap ng work. Hehehe eto ipon mode kc nga ang taas ng cost of living na experience na namin so kelangan paghandaan tlaga.

@elleb1 , musta? Kagagaling lang din namin sa NSW, we stayed at Turella for 4 days tapos sa classmate ng Mrs ko sa remaining 2 days. Provincial NSW yong pangalawa so we have a feel of both near CBD and sa province. I noticed walang stamp yong passports namin. No trace na galing kaming Oz. Pareho ba tayo? Hehehe. Lapit na pala big move nyo. We are planning mga first quarter ng 2018. Ipon din talaga. God bless..

Wala ba talaga visa stamp sa passport? Napaisip labg baka we miss it.
