@redfox8 ACU and WSU. It would be best na wag ka muna agad agad maghanap ng work kasi baka conflict sa sched or something pero most univs offer jobs in and out of campus. Check mo lang

Guys, if youre looking for affordable unis, try CQU, UNE-Armidale, and USQ. They are also not that strict with the work experience requirement for masters by coursework. Got offers from them even though I only have 2 months of internship. It was not even that much related with my course. I think you just need to justify and make 'bola' in your statement of purpose HAHHA. CQU also offers 20% discount. So my fees per sem is just around 9k. Then, UNE is around 11k and USQ is around 12k.

@ozwishful u have relatives or sponsor po ba from OZ? Im about to take din po Nursing this coming feb 2017, USQ po Toowoomba. Around 12k ang tuition per sem. And they offered me 11 units lang good for 3 sems

@ozwishful at least may place po kayo to stay at. Madami po nursing schools and schools offering iron programs sa melby.
1.5 yrs po. No work experience po ako. Fresh grad

@mei_yamada well technically june 2015 pa ako naggraduate hehehe. Kakapasa ko lang ng boards this january..then proceed na ako mag ielts and sorts hehe.

Sa USQ, it took 4 weeks before i got my offer.

@diazepamie I'm not quite sure if in qualified for IRON. I have 7 months hospital paid experience in 2012
But I graduated 2008. So I'm really thinking that perhaps the conversion program is better tho it's more expensive.
So what is your plan after the 1.5 years of study? Diba yung visa 485 is at least 2 years of study in OZ? Correct me if I'm wrong ha. Thanks

@ozwishful oww okay po..di rin ako sure eh pag IRON program. Better check with education/migration agents po and the web. :-? You can apply for a conversion and try to consider applying for credit of prior learning kung pwede pa po i-consider yung natapos nyo nung 2008. karamihan ng kakilala ko po they opted for the bachelors/conversion programs...and they say that worth it naman lalo na if you are planning to apply for PR anytime soon.

Hanap po ng sponsorship if meron for 457 or kung wala tlagang employer 489 po kasi i have an aunt who can sponsor me. Tama po na yung 485 u need to meet the 2 yr australian stidy requirement. Actually I asked the uni if they can make it 2 yrs na lang kaso it will be questionable daw sa DIBP if I will waive some of my unit exemptions. Pero positive po ako na makakahanap ako ng 457 sponsor. Hehehe tiwala at sipag sipag lang [-O< \:D/

@leelou hello! The 20% discount is a vice chancellor scholarship grant. Not sure what's the exact grade equivalent they are looking for though since it's different per country. Pero standard nila is at least 3.0/4.0 grade. Mine was 3.172/4.0 during my undergrad. It's around 91%.

BTW how to compute yung grades para maqualify sa vice chancellor scholarship grant. i've been researching about that scholarship but find it hard how to compute my grades based on their criteria since iba yung grading system. i hope you can help me.

@aranayad hello! Not sure how to convert grades eh Sa uni ko kasi dito naka-4.0 scale na. So hindi na ako nagconvert ng grades since at least 3.0/4.0 yung standard nila sa CQU diba? Though, nakita ko, 75% lang daw kailangan. Weird lang because they consider 3.0=7.5% and 85% as 3.4/4.0. When in fact, 85% in our uni is just 2.0/4.0 and 3.0+ is around 90%. So bigyan mo na lang sila siguro ng transmu ng school niyo. Nasa TOR naman ata. Masters of Information Sytems kukunin ko. Then Brisbane campus ako. Ikaw ba? goodluck sa application!

@Eriuy_ exactly may nabasa din ako about dun sa 75% na requirement for Vice Chancellor scholarship grant. medyo doubtful ako na 75% yung requirement para dun sa vice chancellor scholarship kasi parang ang 75% dito sa pinas di ba passing grade pa lang. Nung nagfill-up ka nung form for VC scholarship binigay mo din tor then sila na bahala magconvert ng grades mo kung pasok dun scholarship?

Bachelor of Accounting yung kukuhanin ko. sa Rockhampton Campus ako since may relatives ako dun.

Nice! congrats on the scholarship. Ako una I was told qualified ako based on my grades 3++/4.0 pero hindi ata umabot for this intake, sa Nov 7 intake na ako. CQU-Brisbane din Master in Professional Accounting. wala pa akong visa. yay!

@aranayad, wala na akong ni-fill up na form. Parang icheck mo lang yung option na magaaply ka. Then not sure if they have converted my grade since naka-4.0 scale na. TOR lang needed na requirement.
