@K9_q8 bro again, pag PR status ka na here at Australia, mag apply ka na ng job. No bearing ang electrical license. Pwede ka mag trabaho dito basta match sa needs ng company nila. So if you're really dead serious on getting an electrical license here, mag university ka and enroll. But take note, babagsak ka pa din sa hands-on experience on jobs to justify. No bearing ang other acquired engineering license sa pinas or elsewhere. You had to begin from scratch and earn your actual professional experience here. Investment ika nga.

Xe sa medical equipment ang hawak ko d2 sa kuwait for 12 years, sa Philips Healthcare nmn sir 4yrs nko sa machines nila. Para may idea lang po pagdating dyan. @K9_q8 good luck sa job applications. You pray hard as it is difficult to start here gaining the same line of profession where we came from in a certain industry. Sadly, most engineers degrade into mechanical tradies (welder, mechanical fitter, etc.) as it is hard to be hired by an AU employer these days for a start. If you're into biomedical field, try Sydney and Melbourne states.

Hello po magkano po ba ang total na babayaran to be EA member? And how much ang renewal?

From the Philippines, I paid 79 AUD (New EA Membership Application Assessment, dated Nov 2016). Then after arriving at Australia, I paid a separate 293 AUD around early months of 2017. Just an estimate for your reference. EA shall always send you a confirmation invoice due for payment fee. @kholoudmanlucu

Hello guys, would like to know re application. ok lang ba na mag apply na sa EA kahit 55 points palang then competent naman sa english exam? then to follow nalang yung another result ng english exam para sa DIBP? please advise. thanks a ton!

@Shyluck hello. You could do CDR earlier as you shall need to collate from each other proof of employment stints. Matagal din kasi mag prepare so better have your draft ready. Once you reached the required points at least you could immediately submit your EA assessment

@jmban33 haven’t done it bro but most likely not. FY tax refund usually starts filing by June, I just kept my receipts
