VISA LABEL for a fee - is it advisable to get one?

For the newly grants, papa-label pa ba kayo? Considering the amt, for a family of 4 like me,,more than 10k din ito para sa isang sticker lng sa passport ng bawat family member.

Sa mga nasa AU na, hinahanap po b yan for work? Or no need naman talaga.
Please advise. Thanks :)

    @nylram_1982 - I never considered na hinahanap ang visa label for work as per advise of DIAC, everything is visa-free already. Kung hahanap man sila ng proof that you are a legit 189/190 visa holder, you can show your visa grant letter. Pwede din sila mag access ng VEVO as it is free information naman.

    A$70 for a label is a bit pricey considering it is just an ugly visa label sticker with dot matrix print... If kailangan magbayad for a label, I would not do it.

    no need na visa labels.

    pero add ko lang kasi i went to get a new passport sa sydney embassy.. if your passport is about to expire better renew it mga 6 months to a year before expiration kasi ang tagal ng visa releasing! better renew it early for emergency purposes like you need to rush home to the philippines in cases like sudden death in the family or sickness..kasi you can leave au if less than 6 months na lang remaining na validity sa passport mu but you can't come back with a less than 6 months expiration of the passport.

    they tell you na in 3 weeks ok na but mga 8 weeks pa la in truth.. some are lucky though in a month meron na kasi all passports regardless saan kayo in au still goes to the central bank in the philippines. no way to follow up once processing starts and no rush passports here in au..wala din passport extensions.

    then after you get your new passports..go to DIAC to update your passport details in their computer system..kasi computerized na lahat ng immigration stuff here.

    not offered na daw kaya i jad no choice but to renew it. i even downloaded a form and filled it up then when i got there sabi nila not for maroon passports or the automated ones.. so in effect they are not offering it anymore. just in au lang naman kasi my younger sis was able to do it sa pinas.

    Meron na po bang mga nakapasok ng Australia from Philippines without a visa label? Specially po for the first time migrants....

    I am thinking of not putting a visa label on my passport, dagdag baon din kasi yun but I'm afraid that immigration on Manila airport will stop me...

    Please tell naman po yung mga naka-experience nito....

    @phinax last june2012 pa ito nagtake effect. itong no-visa label. Meron ng mga nakapasok na walang visa label, so far ok naman sila.

    Naisip ko lng kasi kung need pa ito kasi bka may employer na maghanap or sa school ng bata. Pero sabi ng nakararami, no need naman daw.

    Sa mga may gustong magpa visa label. May nakasubok na ba nito sa Pinas? Gaano katagal bago makuha yung passport na may label na?

    Actually ako gusto ko magpa visa label kahit may fee pero nung nalaman ko yung total cost (at least dto sa sg) aside sa $70aud meron pang $40sgd na service fee total of almost Php4,500+ din in pesos. Parang nghihinayang ako. Considering na hindi naman required parang trip ko lang kasi na may visa label un passport ko. Hahahaha!

    Kami baka kasi magpalagay kesa lagi bitbit ung email notifications just in case. Sa rcbc ayala yata office nila sa pinas and walking distance lang din un sa place namin. Curious lang ako gaano katagal maprocess hehe. 3 years to expire pa nman ung passport namin so ok lang din nman plagyan. Mas mahal pa nga yata bala ng xbox ko or mga kung ano anong binibili ko na walang saysay hehe

Actually ako pinagiisipan ko pa din kasi yung passport ko bago lang din naman. Pero nghihinayang din kasi dagdag baon dn un. Depende kung sipagin ako. Hehehe. Anyway, yung sa duration nag email ako sa Au embassy sa Pinas pero d nabanggit ung duration eh. Pero i think less than a wk. iiwan ang passport dun tapos i-courier nila.

    Kmi pag na grant malamang magpalagay. Iniipon ko kasi lahat ng passport ko kahit luma. For sentimental value for me its more than worth it hehe. First and last na din nman yun.

    Meron po ba dito kumuha ng visa label?

    1. How did you pay for it? We don't have an ANZ account but I'm planning on getting a Manager's Check for the AUD70 fee.
    2. Did you mail the application form, payment and passport to VIA office or had it picked up by a courier?
    3. How soon was your passport returned with the label?

    @hard2handle san po kayo nakabase sir? ditto kasi sa Dubai, pwede mo sya icourse through sa VFS global... sila lang ang pwede magprocess ng documents relating to Australian Embassy or Consulate for a fee.

    Di ko na na-update. We went to VIA Makati. Paid in Peso. They do not accept AUD even in Manager's Check. We got the passport with the label after 3 days.

    Pa visa label kana, tignan mo kung libre hehehe. Ako nagiisip pa tsaka wala pa pera. Tatlo kami, marami na mabibili sa 10k pesos hehe
