NBI clearance auto-hit for abroad cases

Hi everyone,

I just went to NBI shaw mall branch and got a hit, same thing with my wife. I doubt for namesakes due to the complex composition of our names. And of course we dont have any criminal records. Release date is July 21.

I did some research that NBI clearance for abroad are marked immediately as hit. The rationale is obvious, but is this true? Anyone got the same results recently?

ako. hit din ako. my name is very unique and pati family name ko. hndi kami madami sa pinas. ako pa lang na hit sa family namin din. i dont have any case, didnt live in the phils the last 6 years. so i guess its true na hit talaga if for abroad. kukunin ko na pol clearance by monday.

Likewise, i got hit.. this was my first time eventhough I have a unique name as well.. probably its because my clearance is intended for abroad. But i guess nbi should discuss this thing, so that we will no longer expect a 1 day transaction once we are applying for clearance abroad. Sad to say, i have to wait for 13 days to claim my clearance, thats too long.

already claimed my nbi clearance yesterday. asked the guy working there if its SOP na ma hit talaga if for abroad. he said hndi nmn daw. nagkataon lang daw sa name ko. which i doubt. lol oh well.

@toperthug ah talaga? nung kumuha ako last aug tinanong pa ko kung para saan.. tapos nung na release yung NBI ko naka indicate talaga si for visa australia.

@Hunter_08 oo since october 05 pa, umuwi me last week sa pinas para kumuha, paulit ulit ko nga tinanong if ganun na ba talaga pag abroad yung request, then sagot niya is yes

My wife and I went to the nbi last nov 11 for our clearance and then were told to come back on the 22nd for the result. As we are both working outside the country, we asked a relative to pick up the documents. Now they want my wife to personally go to the nbi office once more to clear the “Hit” mark. Anyone has the same experience? Kelangan b talaga umuwi ulit ..baka pwede n s embassy hehe. And one more thing, they advise the relative that the person in charge of hit cases will only be available on Fridays..ugh!

Mgtatanong lng po ako sa pgkuha ng NBI Clearance..bale meron nkmeng NBI last 2013 pa. Kukuha po kme at mgpapaappointment sana kme online, kaso my nkalgay na 2014-2016 lng daw ang pwde I key in ang lumang NBI ID.
Si ngcreate ako as NEW tama po ba? Kse po nde ko me KEY-IN ang old NBI number nmin at nde kme mkregister At isa pa po nklgay dun na “MULTI PURPOSE” ok n po ba eto for “migration purposes”. Ptulong nmn po thanku

@Bonifacio hi, have you sorted your wife's NBI? nagpersonal appearance kayo? my hit din kasi husband ko, and it is impossible for us to travel at the moment.

@agentKams ako nung kumuha ng NBI sa pinas ako yung pumunta pero nung nagja HIT gumawa na lang ako authorization letter at pinakuha ko sa parents ko since wala na ko sa pinas nung date ng collection.

Just want to share my bad experience sa NBI. Kumuha kami ng schedule ni misis for Dec.21,2017 sa NBI Muntinlupa satellite office. Totoo nga, auto-hit kung ang purpose ay abroad/multi-purpose, pero nagthumbmark and interview na rin kami dun.

Pinabalik kami Jan. 3, 2018 to claim the NBI clearance. Si misis naclaim na agad yung sa kanya. Pero yung sakin, may ka-parehas daw ako na name (sobrang hindi common ang name ko) na may pending case at kailangan pumunta sa NBI main sa UN Ave. Manila. So nagpunta ako dun for interview and to prove na wala ngang pending case. We waited for 4 hours and nung time ko na mainterview, tinanong ko ano pending case ko, ang nakalagay, "case not stated". At pinagawa ako ng affidavit na wala nga kong pending case. And at last, nakuha ko na NBI clearance. Sobrang walang kwenta ng process, parang pinatagal lang yung sakin ng walang dahilan.

Sobrang hassle nito lalo sa mga OFW na gustong sulitin ang bakasyon sa pinas. Sa mga katulad kong from SG, I would advise na sa Phil.Embassy na kayo kumuha. Mas matagal lang ng konti, pero less hassle.

@agd Yep. Sobrang hassle lahat ng process sa PH, mapa-govt offices or banks. Yung tipong pede namang 1-2 steps lang, ginagawang 10 steps. Lol. Dapat, ini-inform nila sa application of appointment date palang na, pag for abroad purposes, auto-hit. Pano kung yung ofw, wala ng time bumalik, e di ma hahassle pa, either bili ng bagong ticket pabalik sa country of work, or magproduce pa ng authorization letter.

Share ko lng exp ko kumuha ng NBI sa PH.
Umaga nag acess ako sa online website ng NBI to register, if alam nyo yung NBI num nyo dati, pede mo input account para automatic na.

Pero if wala, register bago, fill out lahat ng fields tapos schedule kung kelan kukunin. After maka pili ng schedule, bayadan ang fees 120 + 20 yata for processing fee. I paid through BPI yun sa dragonpay. Nag ka problema lng kasi ang tagal ng reflect nung payment. Pero pede mag bayad sa 7/11 or yun iban payment method sa site.

By afternoon, reflectec na payment ko sa nbi site, kunin mo lang yung reference number. Tapos pumunta ako NBI, binigay ang reference number, nag confirm sa details, picture at finger prints. Tapos kuha na nung result. Wala din kasi tao pag punta ko kaya less than 10 mins tapos na ako.

Maganda yung website nila. Andun na lahat. Hehe

Auto hit ako every time na kukuha ako ng NBI clearance before, either for local or for abroad ang purpose. Kaya nasanay na akong magpabalikbalik sa NBI.

Pero this time na nag-apply ako from abroad, halos walang hassle. Tumawag lang ako sa Mailed Clearance Section sa NBI Taft para tanungin kung anong requirements. Natanggap nila yung copy ko ng passport, lumang NBI clearance, picture at fee (200Php) last Thursday. Sinend na nila agad yung copy ng bago kong clearance today tapos ipapadala nila yung physical copy bukas. Medyo matatagalan lang siguro bago ko makuha yun pero ok lang, pwede ko namang gamitin na yung scanned copy na binigay nila sa akin today.
