VIC SS Points survey

I just want to ask yung mga na-invite and nakapag-migrate na sa VIC kung ilan points nyo when you applied? ICT ako. I have solid 70 points + 5 for SS. I just want to assess kung malaki ba chance ko ma-invite kasi AFAIK by ranking ang invitation nila. Thank you!

Hi I applied for 190 for VIC recently, I submitted EOI with 80pts (75+5). I got ITA after 1-2 weeks. But I did not pursue kasi na invite na rin ako for 189.

Baka may quota din sila for points other than the minimum points. Alam ko for ICT related Occupations, minimum is 70. Pero baka need mo 75 or 80 and above para mainvite kaagad. Sa 189 kasi 60 ang minimum pero ang binibigyan nila ng ITA is yung mga 70 and above.

@lccnsrsnn yes I suggest you try that. I think sa ITA mas favored yung mataas ang points, kasi baka thinking nila, higher ang points, mas capable to migrate for VIC.

para ma-invite, it depends sa occupation at points. Usually, IT and/or accountants, lagi high points ang requirement ng state bago ma-invite kc SOBRANG DAMI ng nagaapply for those occupations. I-add mo din ung fact na marami din gusto mag-migrate dito sa Melb so again sangkatutak ang nka-queue sa line.

It depends on your occupation, you may want to try other states for SS kung nsa list ka nila then move to Melb afterwards kc may mga situations dito sa forum na years na pero di pa din naiinvite.

Imagine kung nsa list ng ibang state ung profession nila at nagtry sila dun bka matagal na silang nandito.

I would suggest na kung time is of the essence to you and may other ways for you to be here, might as well explore those options kc immigration rules change all the time.

@Au_Vic Actually nagsubmit na din ako sa SA kahit provisional visa lang. Pero we'll wait din until 4 months for VIC.

I submitted an application last May 6 sa Vic. I received an invitation from them July 9. 65 points ko sa EOI.

I'm sorry. Its June 9 ako na-invite and not July 9.
