@Au_Vic Hi! Just a quick question. Currently 70 points here Sept 2017 visa DOE. By July 2018 po kc I will gain another year of skilled employment which will raise my total points to 75. My question is maguupdate po ba ung DOE ko to July 2018? Or Sept 2017 pa din po? Thank you po sa inyong help. God bless po satin! Aja :)

hello. Makikijoin ako sa pagsagot ng question mo based on my experience. Everytime magchange ang points mo sa EOI (increase or decrease) magchange din ang Date of Effect (DOE) ng EOI mo. Hence, once mag increase ka to 75 points sa July 2018, magiging July 2018 na din DOE. On the other hand, kung may changes ka sa EOI mo na information but will not affect your points, same pa din ang DOE mo.

Hello! Happy New Year everyone! Ask ko sana if ano mga pwedeng rason kung bakit wala detailed course syllabus ang school. Wala pa kasi reply mga ni-contact ko na teachers dun. Naghahanap kasi ang CPAA ng reason. Thank you!

Hello. Regarding the syllabus, for some reason, hindi lahat ng schools or school registrar makakaprovide. Usually, sa dean of college kinukuha ang syllabus. However, the school registrar can provide course description or subject description ng lahat ng subjects mo for the whole four-year course (both major and minor subjects). This is acceptable by CPAA. In my case, I had 7 pages subject description, each subject is described by 1-3 sentences. So in your case, I suggest, you better request for it sa school registrar nyo. This is a better option compared to making a Statutory declaration na hindi ka makaprovide ng school syllabus. Just my 2 cents. God bless.

Gamitin mo yung Registration ID Number. For additional info, kahit magtake ka pa ng ilang beses sa PTE, same pa din Test Taker ID pero nagbabago ang Registration ID Number every take ng PTE. So, in the future, kung magtake ka ulit aiming for superior, and by the time na mag fill out ka ng form sa EOI mo, gamitin mo yung Registration ID Number ng test result na gusto mong isubmit. God bless.

mas advisable po bang magpaassess under Accountant (General) code instead of External Auditor code kahit purely External Auditing ung work experience since mas mabilis mainvite at mas mataas ang ceiling? ok lang po ba un? may nagganun na po ba sa inyo? thanks po.

In my opinion, much better if magpa assess ka for External Auditor since ang experience m ay purely External Auditing. Upon assessment ng CPAA, u may claim the pts from ur external auditing experience. :)

thanks @vincechaos ! parang mas komportable nga akong External Audit na lang. Sobrang tagal ba talaga pagka 189 ng Auditors? Gusto ko kasi sana 189 kaya lang iniisip ko baka abutan pa ako ng next fiscal year since hindi pa ako nakakapagpassess. Isa rin ba un sa cinonsider mo why you opted to go for 190 kesa magwait ng 189 mo?

Yup, matagal kc yung invite for visa 189. As you can see in my timeline, sabay ako naglodge ng EOI for 189 and 190. Tapos nauna ung pre-invite ni 190 tapos diretso na sa ITA and lodging of ITA nung 05 Dec 2017. Mas mabilis kpg 190 compared sa 189. =)

@athan2017 that is definitely a long shot. Firstly, no employer will dare interview you knowing you are not employable on a tourist visa. First thing they will ask when they call you is your visa status and when they find out you're on a tourist visa, they won't bother anymore. Plus, most often than not, your tourist visa is usually subject to no further stay condition, meaning you cannot apply for any other visa whilst your in Australia. In short, don't even consider doing this pathway. I'm a migration agent myself and definitely will never ever recommend this to anyone....don't waste your money.

@RheaMARN1171933 how can I know that there is 'no further stay' condition imposed to the visa? Should it be expressly written on it? What if these are only the conditions shown in the visa : 8101-no work and 8201-max 3 mos stay?

@leifh0824 you need to update your assessment to include the new employer. so you need to provide COE ulit for the current job para ma include sa count at ipa uupdate mo assessement mo sa assessing body. u can inquire directly to them pano process nila. nabasa ko lang sa website ng CPA Australia dati.

    Hello Guys,

    Another question,

Tama po ba na magpasa na agad ng mga documents for migration assessment pero wala pang result for PTE?

I'm asking because para malaman na agad kung may problema sa iba pang documents habang naghihintay ng result for PTE.

I don't know kung may additional cost if you submit later the result of PTE.

    Thank you!

Hi! I'm new here. Been reading the trends but couldn't quite get the information. I will be doing the following for my application for visa 189 under external auditor (with 3+ years of experience or accountant with 3 years of experience, would appreciate any comments and tips:

    1. Take IELTS (aiming for 7+)
    2. Submit assessment with CPA Australia
    3. Submit to SkillSelect

    I have the following question:

    1. What do you suggest I nominate? External Auditor or Accountant (current job)?
    2. Anyone here from PUP?
    3. Should I both apply for 189 and 190?

    Thank you so much!

@Pyche05 hi there, choose an occupation where you could provide employment evidences the most. With regards to visa types, 189, 190 and 489 are the options, all depends on points and timing. I suggest to focus first on getting your skills assessed and once you've got the outcome, you'll be able to calculate a more defined score and can approach the application in a strategic way. Right now, it's difficult to choose the best visa option as a lot can change/happen between now and when you receive your assessment outcome. Good luck!
