@vhoythoy Hi! I'm new in this thread and I find it very useful :)

For the employment supporting docs, do we need to submit the original or certified true copies as well?

    Thanks a lot!
ctc lang. keep mo original for future purposes. scanned mo na rin para may soft copy ka bago mo submit. colored scan will do sa DIBP or kaya ctc if black and white copy. pero sa assessor CTC need nila mostly

Hi @TasBurrfoot. I heard that you also need to include the working hours in the COE? How do you think that can be presented? Also, will ITRs (BIR form 2316) alone do in proving compensation (I don't have payslips)? Thanks.

Hi everyone, I hope you can help me with my query.

I'm currently in the process of collecting documents for the CPAA assessment and all files related to my profession are named after my maiden name. However, in a few months, I will be getting married, and so my legal name will also change. Will it in any way affect my application?

I'm also curious as to which name I will use when I submit my EOI and lodge my visa application (once invited). Will it be okay if my documents show my maiden name while my EOI and application forms show my married name?

    Thanks a lot!!!

Hello po. I just want to ask re: Syllabus. I asked d university 3 months ago for a copy of it but they cant provide me for the reason na matagal na dw nawala since 2006 p dw ako grduate. D only doc they can provide is a course description. Pwde na ba ito maconsider or kelangan ko tlaga yung syllabus? Meron sla ngayong maiprovide sa akin pero yung bago at revised na. Tsaka super kapal din dw ng syllabus and it will take them time to photocopy isa2 dw. Ask ko lang po kang syllabus ba tlaga ang sinubmit niyo or course dscription lang? Thanx po.

@erikathy kapag course description kase ang sinubmit mo they would not know kung ano ang mga topics covered by the subjects taken up.

Just viewed the immi.gov.au website and based on this, the ceiling value for accountants is 5478 and the results to date is 378. I'm just wondering because when I checked a few weeks ago, I'm positive that the results to date were much higher (around 1800ish). Do you think there was just a mistake when I checked previously?

Though, ndi pa po ako nag-IELTS, am making sure po na papasok ako sa points, especially sa pagclaum ng work experience, para once nag start na po ako mgprocess e hindi po masayang ang efforts at pera. Hehe. (55 points kasi ako kung ok laht at wala pang work experience).

    should be ok I guess...

my wife got most of her experience as external audit and she got it credited as work experience for general accountant.

the key probably is to make your COE in line with the work done by that belonging to the classification general accountant.

    Hello everyone

Yes!! I finally finished backreading 69 pages of this thread :)

I hope somebody can help me with the following - I'm concerned about by skill assessment. I've worked as a Taxation Accountant for almost 10 years (no other work experience aside from this) so I initially thought that my nominated occupation should be 221113 TAXATION ACCOUNTANT. But per the CPAA website, Australian Taxation Law is part of the mandatory core knowledge area which of course is not part of our BSA degree in the Philippines.

I think I have a better chance of passing the migration/education assessment by using 221111 Accountant (General) but I'm worried that I will fail the skilled employment assessment which in turn will cause my future CO not to grant me a visa..

Any thoughts on how I should proceed? TIA

Sa private company ka nman nagwork diba? And you also performing accountant functions? Taxation acct ba job title mo tlaga sa lahat ng docs (payslip/ job contract/ bir docs)? Anyway if i were you, kung matagal ka na sa company (10yrs kamo) discuss your plans with your boss and HR na gawan ka ng coe with job descriptions and responsibilities similar to acct as mentioned sa skill assesment if tlagang part ng job scope mo. Medyo ilapit mo sa gen accountant with tax functions kesa sa tax kung medyo alanganin ka pero dont make falsified job scope nman. Just my cents

Hi Vhoythoy, thanks sa reply. Naka-apat na ako na private companies pero ang nakalagay sa lahat ng COEs and contracts na role ko with them is either tax acccountant or tax analyst.

Sige I will do that. Ang pwede kong i-highlight na accountant function siguro is tax reconciliations and preparation of tax provision and tax notes in the FS.. Pero aside from this tax function talaga ako i.e preparation of returns, advise, audit etc..

    Thank you!

^^ medyo special ang case mo. If you can seek professional advise from agent or someone with similar case much much better. Mahirap din kasi lalo na kung may sariling skill set code yung mga tax analyst/ tax advisor and if hindi classified as related to accountant may possibility na ma deny un. Research further din
