Hello po..ask lang po sana ako ng mga suggestions if I will bring my baby who will be 9 months old sa Australia when we migrate. Wala po kami kakilala dyan so super start from scratch. May nag-advise po kasi sa akin na better kasama ko siya kasi may makukuha daw kami from government while looking for job. Iniisip ko tuloy if I will bring her or not. Thanks po sa mga advise/suggestions!:)

    Pag PR ang visa mo malamang may makuha ka pero di ko sure ilang months mo hihintayin. Know your rights. Mag self research at mag inquire ka lang click mo ang centrelink at child support. Basahin mo na rin about sa medicare kung may time ka.

    Heres the link:

    http://www.humanservices.gov.au/

    ito pa ang isang link na may rights ka for Baby bonus at iba pa.. pagka click mo pakibasa ang sa ibaba at i click mo ang ibang benefit like;

    Payments for visa holders:
    Baby Bonus
    Carer Allowance
    Child Care Benefit
    Child Care Rebate
    Crisis Payment
    View all payments for visa holders

    Heres the link;

    please know your rights....

    cheers..

    My son is 5 months old and plan namin siya isama agad kung pupunta na kaming AU. Take note na kahit may makuha kang child care benefit sa CentreLink is mahirap daw humanap ng available slots sa mga centres. According to some forum members na nasa AU na, after registering your baby sa child care, sometimes it would take as much as 6 months bago nila ma-accomodate kasi laging punuan daw.

    So I guess the answer is depende kung willing kayong mag-compromise kasi kung wala pa kayo mahanap na child care, dapat isa lang muna ang mag-work para may maiwan kay baby. Like in our case, ang usapan namin ng Husband ko is ako muna ang hahanap ng work tapos saka na sya maghahanap ng work or mag-start mag-aral pag napasok na namin sa child care si baby.

    I think kung buong pamilya naman ang pupunta ng Australia, puwede namang isa lang muna ang mag full time tapos yung isa focus sa anak or konting part time.

    Hi rava - thanks for sharing. nacurious lang ako, iyung childcare ba is habang nasa work ka..aalagaan nila baby mo? so kahit anong months siya pwede? may titirahan na ba kayo kaagad? Nabasa ko rin na may makukuha ka talaga sa centrelink kapag may kasama ka na na baby, based sa estimator..di ko alam kung tama pinaglalagay ko..atleast 400aud ang makukuha fortnight.kaso..kami kasi wala kakilala kaya di namin alam paano start tapos kasama pa namin baby.

    @rolf021 Yep, kahit ata newborn tinatanggap nila. Yung fee depende sa number of hours na iiwan mo si baby sa centre. Actually, di pa nga kami nag-submit ng EOI, nag-aantay pa ako ng results sa assessment and IELTS. But we did some research muna para ma-weigh in kung ideal ba sa situation namin na mag-migrate sa AU kaya may idea na din ako ano ang mangyayari pag andun na kami. Kami din naman walang kakilala, merong kamag-anak ang Husband ko sa Sydney kaso hindi sila close. :D

    Ako po dinala ko ang baby ko na 6 months sa australia pero may job offer na ako before pa ako pumasok ng australia. Nag apply kami for Family Tax Benefit kasi wala ng 2 year waiting period siya pero until now wala pa rin siya. Pero sabi naman sa website na ibackpay nila iyun missed payments so ok lang kahit kelan makuha basta makukuha.
