how long does it takes to clear immigration and customs in sydney international airport

ask ko lang, will be landing in sydney airport terminal 1 and then may connecting flight from sydney to brisbane. first time namin ito. 1 and half hour in between our arrival in sydney and departure to brisbane. kaya ba to?

    ako na rin po sasagot. less than 5 minutes sa immigration officer check lang passport and visa no questions ask. sa customs and quarantine naman less than 15 minutes siguro. declared some item pero di na pinabuksan scan na lang saka tinanong kung yung dinidinclare mo ba e yung medicine. tapos sinabi ko rin na may used shoes sa bagahe pero nilinis naman. just have to be honest at kung hindi ka sure kung kelangan mo declare sabihin mo sa kanila di ka sure.

    Depende on how long the lines can be.. Naka try kami 1 hour just to pass immigration. Grabeh ang daming tao!!! Yung bags namin wala na sa carousel kasi ang tagal namin naka labas. Just ask one if those airport personnel quote ur flight number kasi na tabi na ung bags namin.

    Another time may pinoy na hold ng immigration kasi, habla no inglish!! He asked for help we tried talaga to help him just to translate anung question ng immigration officer pero kasi d kami mag-kasama sabi ng immigration officer na they will get a translator for him but these were some of the early questions sa kanya

    1. How long ung stay
    2. Where is he staying ... He does not know his address in au.
    3. What visa is he on... Etc. ... D nya alam anung number ng visa nya kasi g.f. Daw nya nag process.

    But kasi si kuya d makasagot tapos d pa naka roaming ung phone nya para matawagan may susundo daw sa kanya.

    Dont know what happened to him afterwards but hopefully ok naman yun. So know the details of ur visa, address and etc.

Pwde m rin xa magamit 4 txtng kaso sobrang mhal namn, ung 300 m ilang txt lg yan.. Pag col namn, doble ang charge ksi the one hu recv ur call my charge din..merun tlgang OZ sim at pwde din un mgamt pangtwag international.

    Bagong laba po ba talaga o pwede lang kahit may konting dust po yong shoes? "Soil" kasi nakasulat sa Incoming Passenger Card so I presume po na okay lang na merong parang alikabok lang. :)

    May arrival stamp pa ba for immigrants? We arrived here in sydney earlier today and chineck ko yung passport ko walang stamp saka yung sa anak ko but yung husband ko meron, weird. Sa singapore kasi if you you are a resident when you go in and out of the country wala ng stamp. I was wondering kung ganito din sa oz.

    Question po sa mga old timers: may nakapag dala na ba ng guitar or any wooden musical instrument? tsaka wooden toys? I will bring sana my guitar tsaka yung train set ng anak ko (favorite pa naman nya yun) kaya lang baka ma hassle sa quarantine..

    @wednesday nadala namin yung wooden toy ng anak ko. Basta dun sa declaration form ideclare mo siya. Itatanong sayo kung ano yun. I remember tinanong lang yun samin and sinagot namin wooden toy for the baby. Ayun hindi na kami hineld sa quarantine, ni hindi nga nila chineck yung toy. Ang key lang naman ata is to declare yung mga need ideclare sa form :)

    May arrival stamp pa ba for immigrants? We arrived here in sydney earlier today and chineck ko yung passport ko walang stamp saka yung sa anak ko but yung husband ko meron, weird. Sa singapore kasi if you you are a resident when you go in and out of the country wala ng stamp. I was wondering kung ganito din sa oz.
    parang sa amin, may stamp din.
    Meron stamp when we first arrived a yr ago and when we came home 2 wks back...

    What was weird though was that walang stamp palabas when we left Melbourne a month ago.
