I have a bachelors degree in Architecture, and a masters degree in Construction Project Management. I worked for 16 months as an ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER in an Architectural Firm after my first degree. Now I am working as a DRAFTSPERSON with a Kitchen Contractor for 10 months. And this month I was promoted to DESIGN ENGINEER. Please advise me, can I still select ARCHITECTURAL DRAFTSPERSON (ANZSCO Code 312111) as my nominated occupation?
@Arch_Onin and @jvframos please advise Salamat po

What you mean is that my previous work experience (16 months) is not enough to gain points for work experience. you mentioned minimum of 2yrs but i thought minimum is 3 years, please clarify.
What if i don't include my current job, is the 16 months enough to get a positive assessment from vetasses?
thanks...

anyway, skills assessment is a requirement for the visa application and the years of experience is for the points you can claim in order to achieve the min. required points of 60. if you will only count your 16 months experience, you may get positive skills assessment (granted only if you satisfy all the requirements of vetassess) but will not be eligible to receive points for the work experience.

Please how many years total in work experience do I need to claim points for the Architectural Draftsman ANZSCO 31211 occupation?
I have started gathering my documents so I can lodge my vetassess application next week . Please where did you certify your documents in Dubai? I called the Australian embassy for inquiry, they will charge AED 99 per document. Anywhere less expensive?
Salamat...

at the same time po nag check po ako sa immigration agent namin, at kinonfirm po nila. Yung mga mabusisi po na state is Queensland, Northern Territory and Tasmania (here you need to have a job offer before you will be considered for state nomination)...Let's hope na mag open po ung mga occupations related sa atin on the lists that the other states would be releasing.
