@Christel, hello.. pasensya na at ngayon ko lang nabasa message mo. by the way, girl po ako :-)

nagself review lang po ako... masyadong magastos magreview center. as long as meron kayong cambrodge 1-10 ok na yun. plus you can watch you tube of ryan Higgins to learn on essay writing. also, may mga samples din sa you tube ng speaking test. so everything now is given in the internet. important thing lang is to practice, practice and practice.....

good luck.. If you need help, email mo lang ako [email protected].

Hello guys. I am from Dubai, UAE. I wish to apply for Points Based Skilled Migration to Australia. Please I need advise regarding my nominated occupation.

I have a bachelors degree in Architecture, and a masters degree in Construction Project Management. I worked for 16 months as an ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER in an Architectural Firm after my first degree. Now I am working as a DRAFTSPERSON with a Kitchen Contractor for 10 months. And this month I was promoted to DESIGN ENGINEER. Please advise me, can I still select ARCHITECTURAL DRAFTSPERSON (ANZSCO Code 312111) as my nominated occupation?

@Arch_Onin and @jvframos please advise :) Salamat po

@rizkallah hello, I don't think it will be an issue if you have your skills assessed as architectural draftsperson as long as dun sa detailed certificate of employment mo ang nakasulat na duties and responsibilities mo is the same as dun sa roles stated in anzco code 312111. Your working title will not matter kasi ang ichecheck naman nila is if you are doing the same type of work. Just make sure lang na parehas lang yung ginagawa mo dun sa previous works mo at sa present work mo, otherwise baka hindi magcount yung total years of experience mo into 2 years which is by the way the min. years to claim points in working experience.

@jvframos thanks for your comments. sorry I am not kabayan so i can't read everything you wrote. but I think I understand.
What you mean is that my previous work experience (16 months) is not enough to gain points for work experience. you mentioned minimum of 2yrs but i thought minimum is 3 years, please clarify.
What if i don't include my current job, is the 16 months enough to get a positive assessment from vetasses?

    thanks...

@rizkallah Oh I am sorry, I though everyone here in the forum are Filipinos... sorry for that.

anyway, skills assessment is a requirement for the visa application and the years of experience is for the points you can claim in order to achieve the min. required points of 60. if you will only count your 16 months experience, you may get positive skills assessment (granted only if you satisfy all the requirements of vetassess) but will not be eligible to receive points for the work experience.

    thanks @jvframos for the explanation.
Please how many years total in work experience do I need to claim points for the Architectural Draftsman ANZSCO 31211 occupation?
I have started gathering my documents so I can lodge my vetassess application next week . Please where did you certify your documents in Dubai? I called the Australian embassy for inquiry, they will charge AED 99 per document. Anywhere less expensive?

    Salamat...

Hi guys im applying also for subclass 190. Im from qatar by the way. Im applying thru WWICS migration agency. Already finished with my VETASSESS for 312111 occupation. But as of now im still waiting for the updated occupations list of other states aside from Southern Oz. I was planning to apply for northern territory, but the thing is they are asking for evidence of financial capacity or in other words "show money". Medyo mabigat ang 65k aud. And i assess pa din ng NT authorities ung application mo before approving ur state sponsorship. Ive been waiting and looking for other means at the same time for a speedy path to oz...

@netzkeenet nag check po ako sa website nila: http://www.australiasnorthernterritory.com.au/Working/bsm/nt-nominated-general/Pages/skilled-nominated.aspxgration
at the same time po nag check po ako sa immigration agent namin, at kinonfirm po nila. Yung mga mabusisi po na state is Queensland, Northern Territory and Tasmania (here you need to have a job offer before you will be considered for state nomination)...Let's hope na mag open po ung mga occupations related sa atin on the lists that the other states would be releasing.
