Hi,

Humihingi po ako ng advice nio. Last year pa ako nagbabalak na magsimula at nakapagsimulang nagtanong palang kasi lito din ako kung anong assessing body ako mag paassess. Anyway, isa sa mga expert ang nag advice na dito sa ACS ako. Makapagbigay lang po ako ng description ko po, at I hope for your advice.

Comp Eng po ako, nag work ako sa pinas ng 10 years, more on software/desktop support lang po ako. Pagdating ko dito sa SG, napunta ako sa Industrial Controls (Controls engr/Automation engr), 2 years na din ako. Bale ang skill set ko sa SG job: system integration, application development (SCADA), basic networking, industrial protocols, controller (PLC) programming, instrumentation, basic electrical, etc. Bale eto po yung IT side ng mga ibat ibang planta, gas, petrochemical, pharma, HVAC.

Binasa ko yung ANZSCO code, swak naman ako sa Software & App programmer at Software engr. Inaaalala ko lang yung 10years kong previous experience kasi di yata akma sa mga napili ko.

At kung bigyan ko man ng pansin ang 10 years na experience ko (ICT support engr), hindi kaya maapektuhan ang maaaring pag aaply ng job po jan kung sakali man?

Don’t worry ang nominated occupation is purely for migration purpose lang. you can be nominated as a teacher and when granted pr work as an office staff, it doesn’t matter na.

My school is in Section2, Comp Engg graduate ako kaso naka 3 schools ako, yung last school 3 1/2 years ko lng tinapos degree ko kasi may credited subjects and nagsummer ako. May bagsak ako then pag inaverage nasa 1.99 something GWA ko. Thanks

Nagsisimula pa lang ako at di pa gaanong nagbabasa, I am not sure what are the factors to consider on the approval (is it on the occupational demand?).
I plan to consider the Software Engr (2 years experience-current) imbes na yung ICT support (10 years experience-previous). Any insights on this?

Bachelor Degree, 5 years full-time, Around 200 credits is equivalent to AQF Bachelor Degree. Sa opinion, ko ok lang un kahit 3 schools ka pa, nakaindicate nmn sa TOR ung grades mo di ba?

@Xiaomau82 If u take the certifications now (MS or Cisco), ang pagkakatanda ko sa case ng asawa ng friend ko, ung date of work experience recognised was after nung MS certification nia which is current, walang difference kung mag RPL ka. Pero yun nga lang atleast u don’t need to work on your RPL na. Pero kung enough namn points mo and u dont need to claim points for work experience, ok na din kesa gumawa ng RPL. hehe.

Di ko po gets actually sorry po, could you explain it a bit medyo cguro antok p ako hehe

Sa pagkakaintindi ko ang sa case mo na 5 year course e hindi na nila icheck ung grades, kasi ang nakalagay lang na requirement sa Country education profile (CEP) for 5 year, fulltime course is dapat around 200 credits.

Hi! As long as higher position, it's fine. Ako kasi sa previous company ko eh yung close ko din na colleague. Good luck sa assessment!

@Xiaomau82 salamat sa reply. nabasa ko na po yung part ng application process. ang hindi lang po ako sure kung ano ano yung mga documents na kailangan i submit. meron po bang thread na naka list yung mga yun? salamat po.

Valid pa ba ang mga pinaCTC na documents last year kung magpapa-assess ulit ako ngayon? Napansin ko may petsa sa stamp nung Notary Public..

I have a question din for you. Bakit 7.0 lang yun IELTS mo sa writing? Ano tingin mo naging problem? Also, what was the question?

I need all 8s kasi and scheduled first week of Sept.

hi guys question lang. magsubmit na kasi ako ng EOI ko.. ung assessment ko with ACS minus 4yrs sa work exp. pano ako magclaim ng pts sa EOI ko? Oct 2013 ung start ng skilled employment ko from ACS assessment.. thanks sa mga sasagot!

@rcroque, I think with that result, you can't claim points, that will only have you left with less than 1 year of skilled work experience which is 0 points.

Assuming your ACS results is dated Aug 2014, that means you're only left with 10 months worth of work experience. Which means you can't claim any points for work experience since you need at least 4 years credited by ACS.
