We're planning to apply in Au kaya lang wala sa SOL ung current job namin ni hubby dito sa GCC kaya mejo hesitant ako magapply ng PR. Acctg grad ako pro di napractice, mas ok ba na mag masters katulad ng ginawa ni wifey mo? takot din kc ako mag apply ng PR bka pag nadeny mas maliit ang chance na makapag Student visa jan.

    @jde12 ...hello welcome sa forum in behalf of aolee our admin at saka sa mga seniors plus moderators here ...at welcome na rin from us na kasama mo dito....regarding sa pag apply ng pr dito sa OZ you can be qualified to do so if naka 60 migration points ka try to check on this link as a guide:

    then as you mentioned wala sa SOL ang occupation nyo then the other option would be the CSOL which is intended for those occupations na wala sa SOL but here you need an employer to sponsor you.....so suggest ko sa iyo na masters would be a better option comparing to tafe or bachelors for the following reasons:
    1. unlimited work rights mo or ur hubby if masters ang primary visa holder (limited to 40 hrs forthnight if tafe/vocational and bachelors degree)
    2. with regard to the tuition fees hindi masyado kalayuan ang TF ng bachelors at masters pero malaki ang diperensya pag unlimited ang isa sa inyo...mag makakaipon kayo pangtuition ninyo....hope this helps...good luck sis/bro

    sis po here :) Thank you so much Kuya @danyan2001us .... for your warm welcome and prompt reply. nagbabasa basa din ako sa accountant forum and try ko muna baka makalusot sa PR visa. Kasi balak sana namin if maconsider ang PR visa pwedeng mag initial entry then ipon muna dito sa GCC. pwede din ba kunwari if mag master ako then dependent si hubby and baby, pwede ba sila lumabas ng bansa while I'm studying?

    HELLO po. Newbie po ako. Bale ganito po. Ngayong araw na ito mag lodge ako visa through IDP. Okay naman lahat ng documents ko. Yung sa medical, wala ako na receive na call for repeat tests. What bothers me ay yung relevance ng course ko. Graduate ako Political Science dito sa Phil. Then ill be taking cert IV & diploma in Business sa Kent. Intake ko is Sept 29. Pero ready na supporting documents ko about that matter. Sana ma-grant visa ko. THANK YOU.

    @ateckmagnaye ....hope you did good in your declaration regarding the reason why you opted for this course....were you able to tie them up? ....just be positive k? if the CO will not be satisfied with your declaration then he/she will most probably will call you up for further explanation (it is randomly performed by CO)..good luck again

    @amedina ...good point bro .for us since we started here in 2010, we right away dwell on house sharing since we save a lot especially when it comes to monthly rent plus the utilities.....one downside though is that you can't choose your housemates. but on the other hand, you always have the option to transfer or leave if you are not in the same vibes with ur mates ( in reality it is not always easy to transfer since first, you need to look for housemates to share the expenses then second, you need to pay one month advanced and one month deposit if ever you decide to rent a whole house)...IMHO

    @tin1289 why not ask the help of your housing services dept. Try to ask if meron. I approached them upon arriving in Perth and they drove me around to 3 possible accommodations. Less hassle siya for 1st timers. :)

    Hi! I'm planning to take diploma of nursing and aged care certificate. But i am a registered nurse here in phils. My mother and siblings are already permanent residents in adelaide. Natatakot ako baka di ma-grant visa ko(getting too negative) sabi ksi nila if you're going to study in AU dpt higher than your previous study to prove na genuine student ka.
