@janine0511 @danyan2001us Guys, everyone, tanong ko lang kung kailangan ba ng return-trip ticket o puede ng one-way ticket? ano experience niyo? july 2014 to oct 2015 kasi ung grant tpos may mga travel agent na ok lang na one-way. may mga travel agent na nagiinsist kumuha ako ng open return ticket kasi baka marefuse ako ng entry sa australia.

@shye428 I dunno what course you are going to take, but, in my case, I needed to pay the equivalent of 1 term plus Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) for the entire duration of studies. Then, the school issues your electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE). This is needed by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP).

@valiantboy One-way ticket lang kelangan mo if you're going to study here for more than 6 months. I think.

@amedina thanks sa reply! are you still studying there? do you know of somebody who needed to present a return ticket?

tama naman siguro kung ganun kc kung maiksi yung stay dapat may return ticket, pero sabi ko sa tita ko masyadong mahaba ung 15 months.. eh, wala pa nga ako mahanap na dates eh.. kaya open return daw recommended sa kanya ng agent. gusto ko na tlga kumuha ng ticket! para di na magmahal.. hahaha

@Newleaf2014 dapat chineck mo yung receive correspondence by email para hindi na ipapadala.. paminsan kasi pag sa province masyadong malayo.. so abot ng 4 days yung courier. anyway, follow-up mo yung sa medicals mo.. kulitin mo na iupload na.. yun kasi hinihintay sa akin eh.. kaya pag upload ng results may grant na agad. btw 573 ako, kung 573 ka rin, mabilis yan dapat.

@valiantboy I dont know someone who got return tickets. Ask anybody here. I'm stil studying here- first yr pa lang. Im under 573, I got one way ticket.

@valiantboy ...bro sa experience namin ni wifey last july 27, 2010 nong first namin na pumunta dito ay one way ticket lang kinuha namin kais naman 2 years ang program at visa namin at that time...wala namang hassle pagdating sa tullamarine, melbourne airport....

@shye428 ..hi sis welcome to forum in behalf of admin and the other senior members here at sa lahat na rin hehe...anyway usually ang school ay nag rerequired na bayaran mo ang 1st semester then sa rest depende na sa school likesa kanila ni mrs the next semester pwede na kahit kalahati ang bayad mo...may iba naman like la trobe hindi sila pumapayag na installment dapat bayaran mo kaagad yong buong semester.....

@valiantboy ..i don't know if it would still be possible for you and your family pero tingnan mo ang brunei airlines bro medyo mura yan sila comparing to other airlines like PAL, singapore....etc....yan ang sinakyan ni mrs nong inihatid nya ang anak namin dyan sa pinas

Guys tanong ko lang gano katagal ang processing ng student visa subclass 573? I'm with AMS and sila nagsubmit ng application ko a week ago, I was just thinking kasi I need to be in Canberra by Aug 4. Abot kaya yun? My consultant said na abot pa naman daw yun. wat do u think? Anyone?

@joseph_peanutbutt ..kaya pa yan if everything is alright with your docs.....if maiipit ka then try to ask from your school an extension say maybe 2 weeks.....

@joseph_peanutbutt ....ok lang yan jo....oo madali lang yan lalo na kung malapit na mag simula ang kurso mo.....although hindi naman nila sinasabi na nag eexpedite sila ng application pero tinitingnan din nila yan na kung wala lang abrerya sa papeles ay makakahabol sa openig.....anywyajo pwede ka makipag commuicate sa school mo at arrange for an extensio kung sakaling tingin mo ay magiging alanganin ang takbo ng application mo....

@shye428 ..why won't you try checking OZ's point system baka abot ka na ng 60 at diretso na lang skilled independent visa ang ilodge mo....

yup, I have my documents handy, in case na may kailanganin. BTW, how come na wala pa akong narereceive na notification that the embassy received my application? Is it necessary?

AMS did it, I dunno if they were agents, they call themselves consultants, sila nagprocess lahat, I just gave them my papers, paid the fees for the embassy, and yun na, sila na nagpasa sa embassy. You mean sila ang makakareceive ng notice?

@joseph_peanutbutt ..if they put their address as the address for correspondence with regard to your application then yes...they're the ones who will receive any update from the embassy...and they will be the ones to inform you of any update...just continue making follow ups with them....that's your right and your role.....don't feel that they will get disturb by your call or whatever....it is also their responsibility to inform you on whatever update re: your application....

@janine0511 ..consult and refer to the conditions of your airlines since at times airlines have varied regulations and conditions on allowed/disallowed baggages.....

@janine0511 ...the airlines' specific website can assist you on that......if not contented try to make a call with them...i reckon they will so eager to assist you......after all, that's part of their customer services....
