    hi po, inquire ko lang po sana if anyone of you knows pag mag book nang ticket online, does the airlines require the visa grant no. and passport details? or sa airport na nila kukunin yung details? kasi i've booked online thru PAL and they didn't require my visa grant no. kasi, we're just making sure po. :)

    @Siopao23 PAL ka din po? So yung Visa grant letter and passport lang ang ipinakita nyo sa airport upon check in?
    usually it's immigration who will look for it.

    When you update your records with your school, it should be with your current Australian address. Have you met with your school faculty already? or have you completed the enrollment process? Every school has its own policy of updating your address and other contact details, sometimes it is online via the school website.

    hi sori for this late reply...anyway yong "notify address" na binabanggit mo that refers to condition 8533 sa student visa and that specifically refers to all subclasses in which directive says that "you must notify your education provider of your residential address in Australia within 7 days of arriving in Australia. Aside from that, you must also notify your education provider of any change in your residential address within 7 days of the change. You must notify your education provider of a change of education provider within 7 days of receiving the electronic Confirmation of Enrolment or evidence of enrolment"- source: https://www.immi.gov.au/students/visa-conditions-students.htm

    Guys, anyone here whos oshc start date falls on the same date of their school orientation or start of classes? i dont know what my oshc provider was thinking at that time..may nakalagay kasi sa visa grant letter namin na we cannot enter australia until mag start na iyong oshc namin. sInabihan naman ako nang idp agent ko to email my oshc provider na imove yung oshc start date ko to an earlier one. anyone here got the same situation?

    Ito yong nakalagay: You must not enter Australia before your Overseas Student Healthcare Cover has begun. Are they really particular about this? kAsi start date nang oshc ko is october 6 which falls on the same day of my school orientation.

Ano ba start date ng oshc mo? sabi din ng idp na pwede na ako mgpabook anytime pero para daw ma at ease ako, mag email na lang daw ako sa school na imove at an earlier date yung oshc ko. kAkaemail ko pa nga a few mins ago to my school requesting to change my oshc start date..hehe

    @pmm0202 They just ask for the letter of offer or COE. Proof na student ka. Saka the passport. Saka passenger card. Make sure you declare ang foods and other prohibited things na nasa card. Para no hassle. :)

    11/17/12: passed school application thru IDP * 12/4/12: received letter of offer (univ. of newcastle) * 12/12/12: credit application * 2/22/13: received new letter of offer * 2/26/13: paid deposit fee * 3/8/13: received COE and paid visa fee * 4/10/13: visa application thru IDP * 4/11/13: medical request from DIAC * 4/12/13: medical exam done * 4/19/13: SLEC uploaded my medicals * 4/12/13: medical exam done * 7/11/13: VISA GRANTED

    @jie1234 I went early before my OSHC started. No problem with that. As long as iwas ka sa accident or any illness kasi ala ka pa insurance, mahal magka sakit. Lol. :)
