@kenshusei Thank you Sir! Nalito lang po kasi ako since sa isang seminar na inattendan ko about RPL, they said na you can't work without RPL. Thanks po for clearing my mind.

Hi po. I am planning to have my ACS skills re-assessment because it is about to expire this coming October 2014. I am half-hearted whether to include my Masters Degree (transcript) even though i only earned 18 units aside from my Bachelor's Degree hoping that this will make a difference. Any comments or suggestions? Thank you.

i dont think it would make any difference since indi completed ung master’s degree. Saka indi ba ICT related ung bachelor’s degree mo?

Gusto ko lang po tanungin kung kailangan pa ng RPL if you have a 4 year Bachelor Philippine Degree. I also have around 4 years experience in IT(as a programmer)

Tama ba yung assumption ko po na di na kailangan and di na kailangan ung ACS Project Form? Or di considered eligable yung Degree ko and I have to get RPL for recognition of my Work Experience?

Napa CTC ko na rin po yung mga Employment Certificates ko and all the other requirements(Passport, Birth Cert, Diploma and TOR).

Bakit ganun, nag fifill up ako ng form sa ACS, tapos i clicked save. Sabi magpapadala daw ng password sa email ko, pero wala parin ilang minutes na nakakalipas haha. excited lang. wala din sa spam

I think the bigger problem here is that your work experience is deducted at least 5 years to offset the lack of a Bachelor's Degree. Which basically means you won't be able to claim points for work experience.

Hello again po. Ok lang po ba na yung Certified True Copy is nasa likod? Iscan ko na lang po ba ung front and back? Tinanong ko po kasi yung gumawa nung CTC sabi nya sa likod lang daw pwede po e.

ang weird nung lawyer mo, usually and ang pagkakaalm ko kasi each page dapat may stamp na certified copy.

Unfortunately, it is true. ACS credited all 9 years of my work experience but had to deduct 5 years due to my AQF Associate Degree. That left me with 4 years experience which means I could only claim 5 points.

You can see in your ACS results when your actual experience starts to count:

"The following employment after June 2010 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately skilled level and relevant to 261311 (Analyst Programmer) of the ANZSCO Code."

So in my case, my "experience" starts from June 2010 until date of ACS submission (June 2014).

@ios_dev if you dont mind, anong degree mo dito sa Pinas and san ka graduate? May fixed number of years ba na deduction based sa qualification na bigay ni acs? Or ung nasa list eh minimum yun? For example Bachelors degree bigay nila possible ba na more than 2 years ang bawa nila?

I got my BS Computer Science from AMA University (QC Campus). I know some people who went to the same school and was awarded a Bachelor's Degree. I think I got the Associate Degree because I had bad grades (still unsure).

Associate Degree holders automatically gets a 5 year deduction while Bachelor's get deducted 2 years. It's possible to get more deductions (for any degree) if your work experience does not align with your nominated ANZCO job description.

Totoo talaga ang kasabihan.. Nasa huli nga talaga ang pagsisisi!.. haha

But maybe I'm wrong din. Maybe the reason I didn't get the Bachelor's degree is because my curriculum didn't match the ANZCO code's subjects perfectly. Yun BSCS curriculum ko kasi was from 1996 pa. When I looked at the current BSCS curriculum from my school, it almost seemed like it was for a different course.

Hintay hintay nalang. Im currently on the 2nd stage. I submitted my skills assessment application last friday afternoon. Waiting game.

hi guys,
nag-email kasi acs sakin na need daw ng stat dec sa previous ABC company ko (reference lang kasi naisubmit ko)

my question is:
ok lang ba na magpa-sign ng affidavit sa manager ko from my previous ABC employer, at the same time meron na ako existing na certificate of employment at that ABC company na already signed by the same person (my manager)?
