ito yong academic calendar ng wife ko sa federation university:
1st term- march till june
2nd term- july till october
3rd term- november till march

so if 2 terms ka lang then that period (november to february) ay school holidays mo

Hi all!

I know it's a bit far off from the thread but I am just wondering have any of you already in Oz made a statutory declaration for a loss wallet/IDs? I am planning to ask my father to process the replacement of all my IDs/ATM cards in that lost wallet. They are all Philippine IDs though. So should I have a statutory dec for it since I lost it here in Oz or should I have an affidavit of loss in the Philippines.

Please share your ideas. Thanks!

Good morning, all! I am planning to lodge my application on mid September. I was going through the form the other day and I just want to inquire what most people put on "How will you access your funds in Australia?" I stated that all my accounts here in the Philippines are online so I should be able to transfer funds as needed. Would that be a good answer or would any of you advise me differently?

Also, kung sa September 15-17 po ako magsusubmit, mas maganda po ba na magpa health examination na ako next week? Or hintayin ko na lang pag lodge ko dahil baka mas madelay pa pag pinagawa ko in advance? May results na po ba agad yun after a week kung gagawa ako immi account today para sa My Health Declarations?

@cody ...usually ang mahaba na break dito ay yong sa dec kasi mag resume ang klase nyan ay feb or march...sa experience ni wifey ang school niya first ay semester so 2 terms in a year may dalawang intake yan like feb at saka july intake....yong sa trimester bale 3 terms at mag start ang 3rd term sa nov then ends in feb....ginagawa yan ng mga magsummer para madali sila matapos sa course nila or para sa mga may failing grades....and yes unlimited ako sa work dahil masters ang course ni wifey...

@pmm0202 ...it's not always easy to find a job especially if kararating mo lang dito due to certain reasons like: hahanapan ka ng local experience ng mga employers, limited ang time mo dahil nga student ka etc. etc. Tip ko sa iyo ay expand your support system dahil may mga jobs na nakukuha sa referrals, then kung ok lang sa iyo huwag mamimili ng job like go into cleaning, service crew, dahil andito na tayo hindi na tayo pwede mamimili ng work...then try to apply in seek and gumtree....with luck on your side, i'm sure makakahanap ka rin ng job...and the most important of all: PRAYERS

@markier87 sa sydney ako. Sa dee why muna kami stay tapos hanap kung saan malapit school. Sa mga kabayan tulungan tayo pagdating natin sa sydney. suggestion lang baka pwd tayo mag iwan ng cell no for networking purposes.

Hi! Ask ko lang po sana i got interviewed last aug 21 and the nag email yung embassy sa agency na kailangan ko mag submit nang additional docs which i complied pagka friday. The agency then informed me that they passed it a week after so last thurs sabi nila antay lang daw sa result pinka matagal daw ang 1 week if nagrant yung visa beyong that eh refuse na daw.. 1 week na ngayon im so stressed na kasi wala pa rin daw email yung embassy. Talaga bang 1 week lang ang pinakamatagal na decision after sa interview or submission of add docs? Sana po may maka answer. Thansk in advance.

twice lang siya pumapasok sa school every week.....at ok lang ang work sked niya dahil alam naman ng company nila ang work limitations niya....

just give yourself a try...there's no harm in trying....basta huwag mawalan ng pag asa if hindi makapasok kaagad kasi i test ka talaga at the start....be determined and success will be yours!

pag masters po do i need to show proof of funds?? my agent po kasi told me na mgproduce ako ng brgy permit regarding our rice plantation in nueva ecija..we cannot produce brgy permit kasi pag my farm ka land title is ok na..what other option ang pede kong gawin para sa proof of funds? thanks

if you are in a de facto relationship and then nilagay mo siya sa initial application mo as your dependent then in your next application like the 485 post study visa, you can include him as your dependent

Ngrereview ako ng IELTS ngayon..ung review center na pingrereviehan ko..visa consultation din..eto advice nila sakin tsaka karamihan din ng reviewer eto balak kunin..

First mgtake daw ako nung Diploma course(ex. aged care) then after 1 year pede ko daw ituloy ng bachelor para tuloy pwedeng maging PR?..wag na daw ako mbridging kase baka matatakan ung visa ko ng No further Stay(correct me if im wrong)..libre naman lahat..ang babayaran ko lang tuition at visa fee..then tutulungan pa daw akong makahanap ng part time na work..Tutulungan daw nila ko hanggang makakuha ng PR..yan mga sabe ssakin..

Sa mga nabasa ko bigla akong ngdalawang isip...kung tutuloy ko pang magdiploma..anu ba magandang kunin diploma o BP...ung may chance na mka PR?magmimigrate kase family ko sa US.. ako lang maiwan sa Pinas..kung petition nila ko 10+ years pa..

@patet34 ...hi sis i would rather say that you have to decide it on your own but be sure to consider things first such as which is more practical in your status now: if you go for BP (bridging program which I suppose will just take you 3 months to finish it) then go for it since this will entails you a lesser amount of time and money but if you will not pass (YET) the circumstances for a BP then take the diploma+bachelor pathway...both of them anyway will lead you to PR route....

what do you mean by "libre naman lahat"? meaning sa living expenses mo dito or what? regarding sa work hwag masyado magiging kampante na tutulungan ka ng agency mo dahil what usually comes out after ma grant ang visa mo ay you need to do everything on your own...though don't take it as i am discouraging you but what i'm sharing with you is the reality of the matter. you would be very lucky then if they (agency) will really assist you in looking for work. anyway good luck and God bless

@phamelaoh it depends if you're qualified for SVP. Sometimes, it depends sa school if you need to show proof of funds. As far as I know, SVP schools don't require that. Just my two cents.
