    Hi people, patulong naman meron akong questions regarding student visa.

    Toto-o po ba na nag change na yung patakaran nila sa sponsor? kase plan namin ni misis cya mag-aaral sa australia isasama nya ako para dalawa kami mag work. Eh sabi ng agent dito samin na Hindi na raw pwede mag sponsor tita ko sa misis ko.. tita ko kase mag shoulder lahat ng expenses namin from show money etc...

    and ano po ba the best option na kukunin namin na course? bachelor po ba or vocational lang? ano po difference...

    Thank you po! i hope matulongan nyo ako.
    Hi @Jovanniramos36 share ko sa iyo ang statement nila tungkol sa latest development sa magiging pwede mag sponsor:
    ---------------------------------------------------------------
    An acceptable individual; can be one or more of the following:

    (a) the applicant;
    (b) the applicant's spouse or de-facto partner;
    (c) a parent of the applicant;
    (d) a grandparent of the applicant;
    (e) a brother or sister of the applicant;

    (f) an uncle or aunt of the applicant who is:
    (i) an Australian citizen, an Australian permanent resident or an eligible New Zealand citizen; and
    (ii) usually resident in Australia.

    Source: Immigration News 2014

    ----------------------------------------------------------------
    hope that helps. SA course naman, when it comes to price, mas mahal ang bachelors though ang difference naman nila ang mga institutions sa bachelors ay SVP (streamlined visa processing) so mas maluwag sila sa requirements like sa proof of funds (though in some cases ang institutionna mismo ang mag ask ng proof of funds mo kahit SVP pa) then aside from that may ibang vocational degree (like accounting) na hindi ka pwede mag apply ng further visa especially pr. hope to hear from our other friends here. good luck bro

    @Jovanniramos36 yes po, nagchange na. You can read sa DIBP website or backread kayo dito sa thread na ito, nasagot na iyan before.
    Try niyo po bachelor or masteral kasi for SVP schools no proof of funds required.

    Salamat po sa mga nag sagot. Yan kase plano namin Bachelor kaso undegrad cya ng International Studies (2 subject nalang kulang nya) at ateneo de Cagayan. Any recommendation kung anong course and saang school na medjo mura kahit hindi university in Melbourne Victoria.

    Regarding naman sa proof of funds kapag SVP hindi na kami kailangan magpakita ng show money? Kase yun yung issue namin ang show money, eh unfortunately hindi na cya pwedeng e-sponsor ng Tita ko.

    @Jovanniramos36 ....kung sa course niya depende yan bro kung ano ang background course at work niya dyan sa atin. mas maganda if ang kukunin nya na course ay related sa background nya dyan sa atin. Sa funds naman, yes pag svp hindi mo na need ang proof of funds though take note also that there are institutions na humihingi ng proof of funds kaya be prepared still with your necessary documents just in case that your chosen institution will require them

    @danyan2001us hi boss. Do you have any idea how much vaccines cost in australia? Is it better to complete vaccines here in the Philippines before going there? Ex. Flu , meningococcal , mmr. Some say it is more expensive in Oz others say that it is free there. Can you shed a light on this? Thank you.

    Hi everyone!
    I'm new here reading the thread is so helpful for me lalo na nag aantay na lang ako ng result and hopefully positive result sana. Well anyway, here's my concern...my class orientation will start on sept 22 and nailodge ko lng po sept 11 nakareceive ako email from immi about ref no. and medical request nung sept 12. Done my med exam on sept 13 and now im worried if I'd still have enough time. Btw, my subclass is 573 BNursing in ACU sydey in my case po kase I have ELICOS packaged prior to my course and start date nga nun is sept 22. Does anyone here had same situation and have their visa result kahit na sobrang iksi ng timeline ko prior to visa lodgement date. Any advice naman po what to do if incase I still dont have a visa before Sept 22. Thanks :)

    @angelv21 ....one of your possible options is to send an email to your institution then request for an extension of your commencement date. most probably they would give you maybe a week or two. just try doing it though. good luck

    @danyan2001us hi sir can u pls tell me naman po my chances of getting my visa grant. My uni is under SVP and I'm under sublclass 573 BNursing for 3 years. I graduated BSN here in Phil last 2008 and I'm also a RN but wasnt able to practice since I got my degree. Do you think I have good chances of getting my visa approved?

    @angelv21 ...hi sis just call me kuya dan...with regard to your query, i'm not in the position to assure you or the other way around. What I can share with you is that if you follow all those requirements in the visa subclass 573 checklist....everything is well prepared especially your documents like health check, personal docs, then you have the funds (though you're svp yet there are institutions which ask for proof of funds so you better be prepared with your updated bank details) thus I believe you have a great chance of getting your visa. And most of all say your prayers for God's guidance. Good luck sis

    @iheartyouboy hello, ask ko lang how's your job doing? Is it safe to get cash on hand jobs like what you have? Or is there a risk na pwedeng mahuli?

    Tapos pag bayaran ba ng tuition, isang bagsakan or per sem ang bayad? I remember kasi you telling me na kapag july intake makakaipon for the 2nd sem dahil sa summer

    @iheartyouboy un nga ung mas ok sa mga nababasa ko...thx!

    Eto ulit ako..haha..Ung pinagrereviewhan ko ng IELTS consultancy din sya..

    Diba payo nila sakin mgaged care ako..Nung una ko narinig parang ok agad sakin taz after nun dun ko nga nabasa about sa bachelor..After 1 week pinagpasa nila ko ng scan ng passport,tor at diploma..para sa letter of offer daw..

    Aun this week nakuha ko na ung letter of offer(Cert of Aged Care III-39wks taz ung IV-61 weeks)..Hindi naman nila ko pinilit na magbayad..sabe ko wait ko muna makamigrate parents ko sa US dahil sa gastos(pero dahilan lang un..may pera naman kame..nxt year sila mgmigrate actually)..Hindi ko mabanggit ung about sa bachelor..

    Hayz nagtataka lang ako gusto nila ako pakuhanin ng Aged Care pero sa facebook nila ngpopost sila na bachelor maganda..

    MagIELTS muna nga ako..Medyo nagiging confident na ko..yan lang talaga kulang sakin..
    Tsaka ko na siguro pagisipan kung ano talaga...

    @angelv21 hi. Why take up nursing again? when you can opt for a shorter, cheaper bridging program for nurses. Did you know that the registration for nurses in Oz has changed: experience is no longer a criteria. They are more focused on the nurses' education and if it us up to par with oz standards.

    You can try calling Nationwide to start and ask them if your medical test has been uploaded. If there are abnormalities, their doctors would recheck the test and inform you. I called my medical test provider everyday until they uploaded my test. You can also go to the "my health declarations" website. There is a tab were you can check if your medicals has been completed.

    @santosjed21 i've seen na po ung status ng medical completed lng nakalagay it does not indicate the actual result so I don't have any idea if ok na ung result. Class ko na bukas so I guess it's another waiting day tomorrow.

    @marayalara You mean a government scholarship via the state? I have a scholarship but it;'s from the uni. I guess if you want a scholarship, you should try searching for a school that offers the degree, usually they have scholarships for international students. :)
