please open the link.. there are too many agencies and consultancies in the philippines catering to nurses when it is easy naman po to process on your own. all the steps are in the internet and schools/ aphra are very straightforward also with the application.

requirement/ steps:
1. pass ielts of 7 kasi requirement po sa bridging and aphra who is the professional registration body that gives us our oz nursing license regardless of state in oz.
2. find a bridging school.. there are several bridging course in oz. the length of the course is dependent on your years of experience..pwdi po from 3 months to 1 year. the school will assess your papers individually po. cost can vary from 10000- 30000 aud.
3. obtain a visa.. the school will send you papers that can support your visa application.
4. pass the bridging course and obtain your aphra registration. your school will send your docs to aphra saying you have successfully complete the course and is fit to register in australia.
5. aphra nursing license in any state in oz. (aphra is also for doctors/ midwives/ dentists..etc medical professions).
6. find a job as an australian registered nurse!!

good luck!!!

only countries like the uk, ireland and new zealand are excepted from the bridging program. may different registration pathway po sila..

the following are the BP providers i know:
curtin univeristy -perth also din conversion program is the same po as bridging..different use of terminology lang po.. check the link below.
    http://courses.curtin.edu.au/course_overview/undergraduate/nursing-registered

hollywood private hospital - in western australia (perth ata) this one is quite affordable pero very tough ung competition to get in.

VICTORIAN COLLEGE OF HEALTH AND NURSING -melbourne nasa baba ung link.
    http://www.vchn.vic.edu.au/courses.php?id=10&imgid=Nur&&cpPoint=M

may link po ang deakin university for internationally trained nursing po..paki hanap na lang po...but this is the link.
    http://www.deakin.edu.au/health/pdu/preregistration-course.php --NSW po eto

there are more..pero eto lang alam ko. if may nag bridging out there...please share and post links:D

No licensure exam after passing the BP. Exams are for doctors, dentist, pt/ot with written and clinical exams pa.
Swerte tayo nurses na bridging lang kahit 10k aud pa ang bridging still better compared for others in the medical fields.. Madugo for them! Some take upto 2years to finish all their exams.

If you are a nurse, take the bridging. Dont come here as a caregiver or one of those short courses. Kasi we are so lucky that bridging lng kasi baka later on they will change their minds and bigyan tayo ng exams. So better take the bridging ASAP while yan lng requirement for us and ielts.

I dont understand... Why is there a mock exam or a review? When what nurses need is a bridging iprogram in australia that assesses nursing skills?

And why bother with an agency when u can do it all on your own without having to pay an agents' fee?

I distrust agencies alot.. Big pet peeve namin yan sa www.nurse2nz.forumotion.com kasi most agencies are after money and not the welfare of the nurses once completed na yung payments.

2.5 million a year in pesos wala pang tax yan... That is only for nurses with 5-7 years nursing experience and sa poster nila at least 1 year experience lng?? I had to present all my nursing employment certificate sa nurse manager just to get to the pay grade i am and she really really counted how many years i had and even showed me the pay grade scale chart used by nsw to show with my 6-7 yrs experience nasa anung bracket na ako. And they are putting in their poster 2.5 million a year for 1 year experience??

Tsktsktsk! i pity the nursing profession.. Always a victim of false promises and loan sharks just to get out of the country.

what do you mean specific registration? lahat tayo international nurses kahit me na hindi na nag bridging kasi dahil nz RN.. division 1 RN yung registration able to practice in general and obstetric nursing. yan lang naman registration natin.. pwdi na yan kahit anung ward, mental unit, theatre (or), e.r. and etc.

im not familiar with a bridging program in sydney..sorry. somewhere here sa forum may complete ako of bridging programs i know of but too lazy to enumerate them again:)

@li_i_ren hi! mejo na-tense ako dun sa isang thread na nabasa ko with regards sa job hunting ng mga graduate nursing students.

ito yung sabi mo dun sa isang thread:
"but if u are referring to the new graduate program of most public hospitals as in meaning zero experience nurses. yes THAT is just for au educated nurses and it is only for 1 year paid experience hence only for p.r. and citizens para maka bayad sila ng student loans."

dito kasi ako kasama. i mean, zero experience talaga ako kaya hindi ako pwede mg-bridging. 2yrs ang binigay sa kn ng QUT for nursing, after this i know i can apply for graduate entry. do you think if mag-apply ako ng age care after graduation, or let us say kahit na naka-graduate entry visa na ko and age care ako ngwowork (assuming) tingin mo i have a chance to work there as a nurse? may kakilala ka ba na nkapasok ng nurse sa hosp pero wala naman talagang expi as a nurse? let us say aphra license na tapos and ang nging expi is more on age care?

sorry madaming tanong, sister ko naman kasi ngfinance sa kn and i want to be stable as early as possible to pay her back. takot din ako mkipgsapalaran ng sure na sure lugi pala in the end. sobrang pessimist na ko. anyway, thank you for helping your colleagues.

Unfortunately, all Filipino applicants should undergo Bridging Program. AHPRA made this clear on Twitter last September 05. It is very rare to bypass Bridging Program for PH RNs, if you have subsequent qualifications abroad like US, UK, Canada or even SG, I believe there's a slim chance.

And yes, AHPRA has not made any decision to any Filipino applicant since October 2013. I think there are isolated cases who applied before October 2013. We are realy caught in limbo. Delays, backlogs, inefficiency and miscommunications.

AHPRA said Filipino applicants will be considered by the Board on October. We are expecting are LOEs by that month or November.

@rejai, sana sa October meron na. Oo, galing ni sir marknight. Sa tingin ko mahirap talaga ma employ kung walang working rights. Super slim ng chance ma sponsor. Priority talaga mga locals which I think is the reason kaya ang tagal ng AHPRA to give chance to their graduates.
