    @karl_amogawin Sir, may employer k n po ba s Oz? Kac po ako 1 yr and 6.months experience as non license engr and 1 yr 7 months(on going) as licensed c.e. and i was prequalified for PR visa or temporary to permanent residency. I want to go for it kaso baka pag sisihan ko kac na hindi aq makahanap ng work dun.

    basically you need 60 pts to be qualified to apply for visa 189 which is PR ka na agad nito..

    take IELTS first, then passessed mo skills mo sa engineers australia..

    Anyone here who can give me idea if how much yung all in all fees na nirelease nyo. I'm a civil engineer.
    Also, usually gaano katagal inaabot ng processing?


    IELTS: $200
    EA: AUD910
    CTC docs,etc: 5k petot +
    VISA: AUD 3520 (pag single)
    medical: $170

    process: +/- 1 year depende sa IELTS, paggawa ng CDR at EA review time. Civil engr din tinapos ko sa pinas pero nalinya sa structural.

    12/03/13 Positive EA Assessment

    @karl_amogawin sabi ng immigration dito s pinas, i passed daw the pointing system of oz kaya pre-qualified aq for PR visa. ACN Southern Immigration po ang nag assess sa akin.

    @mvmmanangan ahh in my opinion, kaya nyo po walang migration agent especially kung limited ang budget nyo. madali lang nman eh. super helpful ang forum na to dami information andito.. Check nyo po immigration website ng au, nakapost sa last reply ko.. Goodluck po sa application nyo. pag any questions, post lang po kayo dito.

    @jepoy527 sir ikaw lang ba naglakad nung visa mo? If ako lang kasi d ko alam qng saan magsisimula. Ang mahal kasi ng singil ng immigration dito s pilipinas 80k for processing.

    @mvmmanangan pero first step is to take the IELTS exam especially your skills will be assessed by Engineers Australia where IELTS with min band in every module is 6.0. :) Cheers and Goodluck! :)

    U need to submit EOI pero you completed or you have the required documents already.. Focus ka muna sa IELTS and getting your required documentation for your assessment sa Engineers Australia.. Un ang first step na ginawa ko.. :) wag ka muna mastress.. focus ka muna sa mga dapat unahin.. :) @mvmmanangan

    @mvmmanangan yung EOI at skillselect, saka na yun ma'am pagtapos mong magpa-assess sa EA. bale 3 major steps lang ang subclass 189 application:
    1. Skills assessment sa EA pag engineer ka (kasama dito sa step na ito ang IELTS, CDR preparation, at mga docs tulad ng COE, etc.)
    2. Expression of Interest
    3. Visa application

    step 1 ka muna sa ngayon. nasa PDF na binigay ko (MSA Booklet) yung guide mo para sa step 1.

    Hello po! May Chemical Engineer po ba dito? I'm a ChE at Sydney who has a background in Pharma and Food. I'm already frustrated kasi employers are looking for local experience on that field (na wala pa ako. Part time ko is trades na unrelated sa Pharma or Food). Baka naman pwede nyo ko matulungan?     @enxym boss/ma'am may discussion dito sa thread na ito para sa "local experience" na yan. may advice si boss gmad06 check mo na lang baka makatulong sayo. If OK lang sayo, ilang years na ang experience mo at ilang weeks ka na dyan sa Sydney? Ilang days/weeks ka bago nakakuha ng part time job?

    @kujok hello! chem engr din po ako aspiring to be a pr in oz. not sure if pwede na ako diretso pr kasi iba iba field na napasukan ko. if ill take masters, di naman po ba masyadong matagal bago makakuha ng employer na magsponsor for a work visa? thanks!
