Guys seeking for advice... I'm planning to migrate with my family do i need to have a migration agent or can i process it on my own kasi ang pagkakaalam ko mahal ang bayad sa agent..

    Ang kadalasan na advise ng mga tao dito eh DIY na lang. Tama po kayo, mas makakatipid kayo kasi mahal ang agents. Kayang-kaya naman ang pag apply, kelangan lang talaga mag-tiyaga sa pagbabasa ng requirements.

    @inigo yung website kasi ng DIBP is napaka-thorough na with regards to the requirements before and while applying for the visa.

    Walang gray-area ika nga kaya madaling sundan and you can DIY already.

    Ang nakikita ko lang na advantage of having an agent is you have other set(s) of eyes na kikilatis ng dokumento mo, and meron na silang experience on the process kaya bawas stress na din sa applicant on how to manage the application and the issues that might arise…

    Pero its worth to keep in mind din na hindi lahat ng agent ay proactive at diligent, based sa mga nababasa namin dito sa forum.

    Also, not all visa cases are the same, so pwedeng yung case of one applicant is not complex na kayang-kaya na i-DIY, vs. the case of another applicant na kailangan na additional help from migration professionals/experts…

    Try mo pag-aralan yung requirements muna, and if you feel it’s too much for you deal with and you have some money to spare… then try to find a reputable agent.

    Isipin mo na lang, investment for the future din ito… But do take our advices with a grain of salt, malaking pera ang involve whichever way you go.

    @inigo well thats the point , kung 190 you need to be nominated before you get invited to lodge for that visa subclass. kagandahan lang eh my additional 5 points ka. pero kung ang points mo eh 60 pataas na, better go for 189 para malaya kang makapili saang state kayo titira.

    na check mo naba kung anong anzco code ang angkop para sa skills ng partner mo? pag meron na check mo kung anong state ang tumatanggap at may open pa na slot for nomination sa code na napili mo.

    @inigo Hi! If may relative ka dun, I suggest explore mo din yung Skilled Regional (Provisional) visa (Subclass 489). Yun nga lang hindi agad ito PR status like 189 and 190. If wala ka lang choice you can opt for this visa. :)
