i pray na ma approve po yung application nyo for VIC sponsorhip. I can attest na once state sponsored kayo halos approved na din ang VISA. I am also in 190 visa VIC sponsored. It only took one week for my application sponsorhip then automatic my invite agad on the same day to lodge a visa application

@danz1213 Business Analyst young nominated occupation ko. December 9, 2013 ako ng lodge ng visa application then Feb 12, 2014 visa grant na.

@eddie_thomas nanghihinayang ako na di ako umabot.. Oct 3 kasi lumabas IELTS result ko.. may account na ko sa VIC website pero kailangan kasi Oct 1 submitted.

Pero ganon talaga! Waiting game nalang sa 189.. Sana mainvite na tayo soon.

@paupau29 Oks lang yan. you can go to 189 path. sayang lang din kc yung 5 pts from State Sponsorhip at automatic invite to lodge for visa application. Sana maging ok lahat. keep praying.

hi all.. ask ko lang po if pwede na kami mag-draft/create ng EOI.. then submit on January pagbukas ng Victoria for ICT occupations? Ready na po kc lahat ng docs namin.. As of now may 55 points na kami.. +5 pts from SS = 60 if ever ma-invite.. Maraming salamat po!

yes.. you can select SS and it will give you temporary 5pts..
once you passed SS application, they will give you that 5 pts and therefore eligible to apply for the visa..

thanks @lock_code2004! We just have one doubt in claiming partner skills points specifically for SS. I am the main applicant, Software Engineer(261313) and we need 5 pts from partner skills.

My wife’s occupation is listed on the Victoria CSOL - Research and Development Manager(132511).

Per http://www.liveinvictoria.vic.gov.au/visas-and-immigrating/occupation-lists/state-nomination-occupation-list-for-victoria, the minimum IELTS requirement for R&D manager is 7.0 in each band. She was able to get at least 6 in each band, but not at least 7 in each band.

But per Victoria’s website, we are not sure if we can claim partner skills points since her score is not at least 7 in each band. Or is this only applicable if siya ang main applicant namin for Vic? But since ako naman ang main applicant, do you think we can still claim partner skill pts even if she did not get at least 7 in each band?

Based on IMMI/DIBP for partner skills pts mukhang eligible naman ang wife ko, because the requirement is only competent English which is at least 6 in each band:

Clients can claim points for their partner’s skills if their partner is able to satisfy the following basic requirements:
o Is not an Australian permanent resident or an Australian citizen
o Is under 50 at time of application
o Has an occupation listed on the same SOL as the main applicant
o Has a positive skills assessment by the relevant assessing authority
o Has competent English; and

@speedmark - as far as i know, hindi naman tinitingnan ng State ang points for partner..
yung primary applicant lang ang tiningnan nila..

once approved na ang SS, yung DIBP na ang magcheck ng lahat pag nag-process kana ng visa application..

of course, on your EOI, you make sure na nagcomply kayo sa requirement ng claiming for partner's points (which you listed above already)..

then wlang problema..

of course, dapat nasatisfy nyo din ang english requirements ng secondary applicant..

Network ako. sayang din ung 5 pts from Victoria and first choice din namin ni misis tong Victoria maski mag 189 ako. So might as well try the Vic SS. Sa mga nabasa ko din dito, masmalaki chance ng Visa Grant kung via SS ka. Tama ba?

Para kasing automatic na ung invites ng EOI to lodge a Visa once approved na ung SS. Napansin ko lang sa ibang forumer dito.

Kelan ung IED mo? Approximate 1 year ba from the date na marelease ung NBI clearance mo?

question lang po regarding my case.... bale... narcv ko na ang email from VIC for the result of Visa 190 nomination on 14 November. On the same day, I received the email from Skillselect for me to lodge the EOI and i did lodge on the same day. Hinantay ko hung 28 November kasi un ang next na schedule for invitation... kaso wala pa akong na rvc na update from DIBP. nakalagay pa rin doon sa Skillselect status is "SUBMITTED".
matagal po ba ang step na to? when kaya ang next round of invitation? hope anyone can provide information on this. maraming salamat po.

@Vhonixki most eh nagsusubmit na ng eoi while waiting sa SS result. nangyayari niyan pag nanominate kana ng state automatic at sabay dapat makakatanggap ka na inivitation to lodge your visa application.

sure na 190 naman yung eoi na sinubmit mo? at naka specify ang VICTORIA?

follow up mo din sa sa SMB Victoria sabihin mo wala ka pang nattanggap na invite from DIBP. mag iisang buwan na din.

sa akin kasi... hinantay ko ung SS result... tsaka pa ako ng EOI after nakuha ko ang result. tulong po.

@Vhonixki bro advise mo si SMB Victoria regarding sa status ng EOI mo. tanong ko lang, check mo ba na dun sa EOI mo na select mo ung VICTORIA specifically at hindi "all" sa state sponsorship. ang 190 kasi "pagkakaalam" ko walang quota kada round.
