Hi po, ask ko lng if may case dito na less than 3 yrs na credit sa work experience ng ACS pero na approve sa VIC SS? My nakita ako sa post ni @penski516 na 2 yrs lng na credit sa kanya ng ACS pero na approve naman VIC SS nya, not sure lng kung nung time nya eh di pa nag rerequire VIC ng at least 3 yrs work exp...I messaged him pero ala pang reply so decided to ask here...

Also, incase po ba mag risk ako apply VIC SS now den before july 1 I decided to apply for SS in another state, possible po ba? I just need to update my EOI and select another state?

Hi @cgm! I saw na hindi related course mo sa nominated occupation mo and you have yourself assessed by ACS. May I know how many years of experience you have in your work? I am self-assessing my self din before I have myself assessed by ACS.

@joseflim computer engineering grad po.. yung work experience ko kasi not really focused on network pero nag reply na si @penski516 and 2 yrs lng nga na assess ng ACS sa kanya pero ni credit ng VIC yung ibang work experience nya kaya na approve..tinuloy ko na rin po VIC SS ko..so waiting mode sana makalusot din

Tama ba pagka-intindi ko? Can I have myself assessed with ACS even if less than 6 years palang ako? What was your case? Ilang years work experience mo when you had yourself assessed?

For non-ICT di ko lng po alam tu... Sa akin kasi IT yung work ko pero hindi talaga focused sa network... More on servers and systems po kasi kami... So ni risk ko na yung comp network and systems engr kasi nasa sol and open pa ang vic for ss... Closed na kasi halos lahat na state. Ni approve ng acs pero 1 yr lng na credit out of my total almost 7+ yrs na IT work exp.

@persephone30 ahh nalito kasi ako sa nakalagay na new ielts score from May 17 ang listening is 8 naging 8.5.. Ng retake ka din?

@joseflim hello po. Ilan months na lang ba wait mo para maging 6 yrs work experience mo? In our case kasi non ict din si hubby. Nagpa assess kami kaso 5yrs 7mos pa lang work exp nya. Ayun negative assessment. Sabi nung assessor wait na maka 6 yrs sya then pa assess ulit. We did that and it came out to be a positive assessment na. We wasted money and time kaya i think it would be better if you wait na maka 6 yrs ka para sure kang you've met their requirements talaga.

@BeBBang may question lang ako, do u have probationary period sa 6yrs na exp mo nung nagpaassess ka? or regular employee na status mo sa buong 6yrs naun?

@BeBBang I still need 2 years more Nabuhayan kasi sana ako ng loob nung nalaman ko na 5 years lang yung requirement ng Victoria SS so it made me curious how that would go about with ACS. Anyway, thanks po sa reply!

@BeBBang My course is Business Management. I am currently doing SAP as a business/systems analyst. I have 4 years experience in this field. Kailangan pa po talaga mag-wait ng 6 years?

@joseflim nag-post ka na ba ng queries sa ACS thread? baka may mahanap ka dun na similar situation sayo? ako kasi, what I've told you was based from our experience and from what the ACS assessor told us when we inquired bakit nag-negative assessment si hubby the first time we submitted his docs.

@BeBBang Yup, I did na but so far no luck on finding anybody that has the same case as me. Gustong-gusto ko na maprocess visa ko because my girlfriend is planning to work on her PR na soon. Gusto ko sana sabay kami. Salamat sa tulong though and for taking effort to answer! It is very much appreciated.

@BeBBang qng minimum ang 6yrs for ACS hindi kaya nila irequire na regular employment dapat? kasi sa EA may statement aq nabasa na dpt fulltime regular employment. Sa case mo if mag 6 yrs ka bale included na ung probationary. Have u verified if macconsider sa 6yrs un? Ksi if not baka magnegative at lalabas na less than 6 yrs ung sa iyo.

Sa case ko kasi concern q rin ito. 5yrs nq buo last may2014 and ilang months run proby aq bfore naregular. im worried baka pagclaim q ng 10point sa diac e ndi pla nila iccount ung 6mos na proby period q. If that happens dq alam if ground un for refusal or if bbbaan kng nla ang points at posible prin maapprove bsta mameet ung 60points.

@danz1213 hello po. Ok naman yung acs assessment ni hubby. 6yrs and 1mo nung nagpa assess sya - that includes his proby period total of 6mos (3 companies). Positive assessment naman.

Different case po kasi ang ACS at EA, I think. Nagbabawas talaga ng yrs of exp ang ACS. It is clearly stated sa assessment result kung kelan ka lang nila na qualify as having skilled employment. So from there, clear talaga kung ilang yrs lang ang pwede mong i-claim. I am not sure kung ganun din ang case sa EA.

@BeBBang, yup, I mean your (or your hubby's) situation before, when you got a negative assessment due to less-than-6-years experience.

Naisip ko lang na baka yan na din yung sagot na hinahanap ni @joseflim, na kailangan niya magkaroon ng 6 years exp para magkaroon ng mas magandang chance for a positive result.

@joseflim hahaha, makulit ka nga. same process din kasi bro, dadaan ka pa din sa ACS assessment kahit na employer-sponsored visa ka pa. si GF mo ba ok ng points? bat di muna kayo magpakasal ni GF? para isama ka na nya sa visa application nya as dependent.

@joseflim Yung course ko is Computer Engineering from a Section 1 school. I read from ACS na meron kasi specific guidelines and sa 2611 ICT BA, meron mga subjects or topics dun na basis na wala sa Comp Eng'g. Though pasado naman yung score ko at 60 points without SS, I applied for another assessment under 263111 pang-backup. Broad kasi scope ng responsibilities ko kaya covered sa COEs.

Check mo 'tong dalawang files. I believe yung ICT Units sa ANZSCO Descriptions ay basis para ma-compare sa Course Descriptions natin.

@BeBBang Tama! Ang hirap ng IELTS sis, need talaga seryosohin ang pag review para ma meet ang band 7. Ako ang instructor ni hubby during review kaya alam ko ang hirap hehehe
