ACS Assessment Received

Hi. I am confused about the result I received. I graduated as BS Computer Science but from the result of the assessment, it's only AQF Associate Degree. Is it 15 pts or 10 pts to claim?
Another thing, I tried to fill up the EOI e-form and I can't see AQF Associate Degree.

Please enlighten me.

As for the assessment, less 5 years sa actual experience mo ang pwede mo maiapply. say, you have 10 year experience, minus 5 year para masatisfy yung criteria mo... so, 5yrs lang ang ma aapply mo... thats 10 pts

So mai-claim ko lang is 10pts sa EDUCATION?

I think thats 5 pts only. bachelors degree is 15 pts and diploma is 10 pts. Please check the immigration website or you can lodge an appeal

"BS Computer Science" but from the result of the assessment, it's only AQF Associate Degree.

I think 15 pts as per attached.
I hold a degree and it's recognized by Australia.
Kindly comment po if tama pagkaintindi ko.

@dreamer be careful in claiming points.. Baka ma invalidate pa ang application mo if you overclaim..

My opinion, associate degree =10pts..
If you clearly read eoi points, it says "atleast bachelor degree=15pts"..

If you are going to read aqf level in AU,
Associate degree is lower than a bachelor degree..

I may be wrong so Please doible check..

@dreamer i believe its the "diploma level".. That is the option to give you 10pts for educ..

@dreamer tama po si @lock_code2004, unfortunately u can only claim 10 points for your educational qualification and associate degree po is under diploma.

@VinMagzie28 positive naman yang result mo, yung points na maaward lang is maliit equivalent to 10 pts lang ata then medyo malaki yong babawas sa years of experience mo.

@VinMagzie28 5 years yong naassess? Yong points kasi based sa years of experience mo, so dapat alam mo kung ilan years ang pwede mo mabilang. Nakalagay naman dyan sa result kung ano yong Month and Year kung san ka magstart ng bilang e...

Hello sa lahat,

I got my ACS result and graduate ako ng BS Computer science (4 years) and got the result of AQF Associate Degree. They took 5 years less with my working experience although it says that suitable for migration.

AQF Associate Degree = 10 lang points po di ba?
For work experience naman I have remaining 3 years+ kaya = 5 points lang

Ang pinagtataka ko lang I have a classmate na kasabay ko graduate at nag submit din ng assessment sa ACS but got a AQF Bachelor Degree. Di rin nagkakalayo grades namin. Magkaiba lang kami ng Assessor (based sa e-mail name na nagbigay ng result).

Nag reply ako dun sa e-mail na nagbigay sa akin ng result kung bakit ganun.

Wait ko pa reply nila.

If di po sila nag reply, maganda po ba mag review or appeal?

Nanghihinayang ako sa 10 points na nawala sa akin

@J_Oz Di ko sure po. Pero nakausap ko yung CO ko discretion ko daw kung mag appeal ako. Ok lang sana if gawin nila ako AQF Bachelor tapos bawasan nila yung work experience ko if yun yung basis nila di ba? Pero yung doubtful kasi parehas kami ng Diploma ng kaklase ko pero ako AQF Associate Degree lang. Para sa ikatatahimik ng isip ko nag lodge ako ng appeal. Just to be fair di ba? pag di pa rin nila palitan at least try ko kung ano ba talaga judgement nila sa school qualification. Nagbayad ako 395AUD kanina. Ngayon in progress na sya. Post ko dito ano result once ma re-validate nila.

please post the result of your appeal. by the way, did you include your classmate's acs result sa appeal mo?

Pero dun sa unang pag uusap namin nung CO ko sinabi ko na may classmate ako na same with my documents tapos ibinigay ko email add ng accessor nya. Sa appeal ko naman po di ko na binanggit.

in my opinion, if there is a way u can email the CO sa review application mo, better if you can provide it.

first step is to know which nominated occupation ka qualified to apply. once you know whihc occupation, then you can start preparing the requirements may it be with ACS or other skills assessing body. IELTS is not required if you will be assessed by ACS or VETASSESS.

@lock_code2004 Hello lock happy new year, just to clarify eto yung results sakin kasi last year.

Qualification: as comparable to an AQF Associate Degree with a major in
computing.

Employment: is considered to equate to work at an appropriately
skilled level and relevant to 261112 (Systems Analyst) of the ANZSCO Code.

Dates: 01/09 - 11/14 (5yrs 10mths)

I mean ano yung sinasabi nila na ibabawas yung working experience sa years? does it mean yung 5 years ko ba eh wala ng bearing?

I decided to send my EOI sa March, pero ayun nga bumalik ako dito to check again.

@VinMagzie28 medyo ndi ko na-gets yung ACS mo pero ganito yung akin.

Employment: The following employment after June 2009 is considered to equate to work at an appropriately skilled level and relevant to 261311 (Analyst Programmer) of the ANZSCO Code.

Pero since 2007 ako start mag-work then 2009 onwards lang yung cinonsider, may deduction ako na 2 years.
