newbie in the forum here...
how's the job hunting for the ece po?
I am planning to go to Australia on April or May with a PR visa...
I've been applying online through seek.com.au since september but i am yet to receive favorable responses...
is there any ECE grad here who managed to get a job outside of their field? how was it? i am already thinking about considering anything just to get started and maybe take up some classes afterwards...
also, it occurred to me that maybe i was not considered because i am not yet inside Australia...
let me know your thoughts guys and gals ^^

I realized after several months of applying in seek.com.au n wala halos opening for the same job so I am already considering IT field since meron din nmn test program debugging s PE...

na-mention mo na nag-aapply ka na online, ako kasi hindi pa nagsstart magsend-out ng mga applications and gina-gauge ko din yung chances ko, although I don't expect na very similar yung makukuha kong role kagaya ng work natin dito sa asia..
tinitingnan ko naman yung opportunities sa manufacturing engineering baka pwedeng instead of electronics, pwede rin sa mga machineries or sa FMCG industries mag-apply

Yup try mo din sa FMCG.. gusto ko rin magkaroon ng experience sa food processing o kaya sa consumer goods manufacturing like Unilever pr P&G.. not sure though kung may planta sila sa Oz
