    yung allocation ng Case Officer usually takes time. Sometimes it may take more than 3 months, but I think there's nothing wrong if you'll followup on your application status. :)

    Visa is 489...
    with de facto partner and a kid.
    Thank you guys for helping me out through out the process.

    @luffy87 - hi lodge my visa oct 10 last year. a co was assigned in dec and requested medical and police clearance. we submitted medical and police clearance by 2nd week of january. received grant last feb 2. :)

    I am holding a 489 visa sponsored by SA.
    On my initial entry, is it possible to stop in another region, say Melbourne, and stay there for few weeks before going to SA?

    hi @thegreatiam15 489 is a "permanent" work visa under skilled migration and 489 is a work visa which has to be sponsored by an employer:)

    I would just like to ask help po. Im an RN in Pinas with less than 3 yrs exp. I already gained RN qualification here in Australia tru the 3 months IRON program. Plan ko po mag lodge na ng EOI but bothered po akonsa point system hope you can enlighten me and correct me with my assumptions.
    Age: 25- 30 points
    English test: OET all 7- 10 points
    Qualifications: Bachelor: 15 points
    Relative in designated area: 10 points
    Total: 65 points, correct me if im wrong pasok po sa 489 right?

    Kaso i would really wish to qualify for visa 189. Pde ba akong mag ielts under general training and if i get all 8. It would give me extra 10 points. So 55+10=65. Pde po ba yon? Di po ba alangan na wala akong dineclare na wala ako point sa experience? Donyou think inaaprove ba nila application for 189 if ever?

    April 3, 2013 - Pay tuition at CIC
    April 4, 2013 - Received COE
    April 11, 2013- Lodged Visa Application
    April 17,2013- Student Acknowledgement Letter
    April 24,2013- Medical Exam done at Nationwide Health Inc-Cebu

    @zoe_girl di naman required yun sa 489. Sa PR lang yun. PDOS Is a seminar para sa mga pinoy na aalis, working visa or PR visa. Girl pala ako haha
