Just browsed through some parts of the forum and i don't think there is a centralized topic for Nurses in this forum so i just thought to make one. But if there are objections please do tell me. Thanks. I hope nurses on board can help each other out and also other experienced people.

Any nurses here who want to share any tips and experiences with ANMAC and etc.

As for my part i had a straightforward assessment with them and i was only asked to submit another set of reference letters. They are so meticulous on that part of the assessment. However, after 4 days after submitting the letters they requested, my positive skills assessment came in.

Tama talaga no time for part time work and no working rights. Madami lang paper works and assignments. Pero for sure if nag decide ka sa isang bagay at i workout mo makukuha mo ang desired results mo in HIS time.

@mikewtf di ka pede mag bridging kung wala kang letter from ahpra which need mo mga mag ielts/oet to apply which now ang tagal nila mag bigay ng result, some waiting for it for almost a year na..so work on your ielts muna, or try mo mag oet mas madali, di ko rin nakuha ang ielts kaya nag oet ako..i can send u oet materials.

as for my ahpra application, yup nagpasa ako nga criteria 8 nila, still waiting for the result.

    Hi guys,

    Thanks

@Carlisle the best is pa assess ka talaga sa ahpra di ka pede dretso ng bridging kung walang letter from ahpra..but before that need mo muna ielts/oet bago mag pa apply sa ahpra.

just to take note.. kung ang partner visa mo is permanent visa, baka iba ang magiging cost..
normally mas mura pag permanent resident, considered as domestic student...
compared pag international student/temporary visa holder..

example i know someone na PR paying only 1-2kaud/yr for a cert/diploma,
for that same course, an international student will pay 15kaud..

depends on the educ provider, 2 years ago most of them grant student help to PR's taking bridging program but recently wala na po, so PR o hindi same cost, yet iconfirm mo din sa school which u intend to do your bridging program.
yes most likely with new ahpra's policy all phils. nursing graduate must undergo bridging program regardless of how long and where your clinical exp is. please take note for you to be referred to bridging program you need to take ielts acad 7 or OEt B for you to be able to apply to ahpra.

which means it will expires april 2017, pede pa naman magamit late 2016 kaso baka di kana aabot sa bridging expired na, please note di ganun kadali result ng ahpra, some take a year, mine was 8months.if late 2016 kapa plan apply for ahpra then it's better tsaka kana take ielts.

    Good day Fellow Pinoy RNs!
