dala ka ng isang Tuwalya at isang kumot with punda ng unan
Kung talagang Tipid ka pa ng isang buwan dala ka ng Toothbrush, Tootpaste, Soap Bar, Cotton Buds at Nail cutter,
dalhin mo laptop mo, mobile phone at digital camera
Ang pinaka importante personal documents mo.
kung gusto mo lalo makatipid. wag ka na bumili ng travel Luggage. Bumili ka ng lang ng dalawang balikbayan box sa national bookstore. Bilhin mo yung maliit at hwag malaki para madaling buhatin. bumili ka ng Tape na malaki para ipang tape mo sa kahon ng hindi agad mabutas. May troly naman sa airport kaya di naman problema dalhin. Ang total maximum weight sa baggage ay 23 kilos yung iba 22 or 24 ata. sakto lang ang dalawang maliit ng na balikbayan box. Mag ready ka lang minsan ng coins may airport na kailangan mo mag hulog ng coins 2 Australian dollar para sa troly. bumili ka na lang na hand carry bag na malaki. dun nakalagay ang laptop mo.
Kung kahon ang pinili mo. bumili ka ng bag na gawa sa sako sa Palengke, Bumili ka ng dalawa malaki na mganda ang designed na gusto mo. para kung sakali lilipat ka agad ng matutuluyan. Yung Bag na gawa sa sako gawin mong lalagyan ng damit mo. May nabibili din naman dito yan sa asian store pero walang design, sa Pinas colorful ang design.
Kapag may budget kana staka ka bumili ng travel luggage may mabibili dito halos laging may sale ang gaganda pa. Usually naman ang luggage bihira gamitin kung bihira ka umuwi, Maganda lang yan kapag tour for holiday sa ibang state ng australia o sa ibang bansa.

As for the priority items, I agree with the previous comments. Addition lang, kunin niyo na lahat favorite clothes niyo, photo albums din for memorable moments (wedding, etc.). Nabasa ko rin sa kabilang forum (philippines.com.au) na medyo mahal jeans at shoes dito kaya yun ang priority sa clothes category.

Mas practical para malaman ang weight ng luggage nyo ganito yan. kung may weight scale kayo sa bahay yung tinatawag ding bathroom scale rectangle shape na aapakan mo para malaman mo ang weight mo. ito ang gawin nyo pangtimbang sa luggage nyo. kuha kayo ng mangkok o kaya kaldero na maliit. ilagay nyo sa weight scale. alamin mo baka may bigat yung mangkok o kaldero para i subtract o minus mo sa bigat ng luggage mo. Pag nailagay na ang mangkok o kalderong walang laman. ipatong nyo ang luggage nyo dun alalayan nyo yung luggage nyo kasi mabigat. dun nyo malalaman kung ilan kilo ang bigat ng luggage nyo. hwag nyo i assume na sakto mag iwan kayo ng isa o dalawang guhit sa scale.
Mas practical di ba. di nyo na kailangan maghanap ng pangkilo o bumili .
may nabibili naman at na pang luggage na panukat sa bigat. pero kung wala naman manghiram na lang kayo sa kapitbahay nyo na wieght scale.
ganito ginagawa ko madalas pangtimbang pag uuwi ako.
ayan ha may idea na kyo. diskarte lang yan mga pards. cheers

*this is a list we try to stick to everytime we go overseas, modify to fit your own needs
Hand Carry/Carry On:
Laptops, Chargers, Phones, Small electronics
Pens! - we always forget this
Passports, money/traveler's checks, impt docs, children's immunization/school records
One change of clothes per person
Small towels
Small 60ml containers for deodorant, alcohol, lotion, shampoo, shower gel, etc. (60ml because of airline regulations regarding liquids onboard)
toothbrush, travel toothpaste, comb
If traveling with children:
milk, bottles with water for flight
some dry cookies
toys and entertainment
Check-in Luggage:
clothes (casual, formal)
whatever you can squeeze in that you can layer for warmth (tip: department stores in Pinas put warmer clothes like jackets, coats and boots, on sale by mid-january)
footwear (sandals, slippers, sneakers, track/rubber shoes, heels; boots optional)
prescription meds
over-the-counter meds (alaxan, biogesic, bioflu, neozep, vicks/efficascent oil/omega/alcohol, vitamins, lozenges for sore throats)
2 boxes cool-fever
prescription glasses, contacts (bring spares)
at least 1 towel
at least 1 blanket
bedding set
vaccuum packed pillow (if you can squeeze it in)
baby oil
lotion
shampoo
cotton buds
extra soap
tooth paste
feminine hygiene
basic sewing kit (needles, thread, scissors)
basic nail kit (nail cutter, merthiolate, pusher, brush)
basic first aid kit (band aids, povidone iodine/betadine, burn ointment, calamine lotion/caladryl)
@RClem, some hand-carry stroller bags available on the market are business-class sized. Get those with 5-7 kilos capacity. Websites for airlines specify the dimensions for their carry-on luggage, so be sure to check. I had the same problem once. Nag tanggal lang kami ng konting laman at nilipat sa check-in luggage para payagan na icarry-on.
*for those traveling with children, airlines usually give additional carry-on allowance. You can also bring car seats and strollers on the plane with you as special carry-on luggage or to be loaded last on the plane and first off when you get to your destination. They usually cover them with plastic for protection.
