    Congratulations sa iba nang na-grant! Update po pala, I called the GSM hotline kindly provided by @nice_guy and also sent them an email. Same thing as the pending 190 applicants may have heard, "limited number of grants are remaining." Ang sabi naman po ay maghintay lang ng start ng Fiscal Year '15-'16 for finalisation at mauuna po tayong pending applicants sa grant. :)

    Or kahit isa lang?
    bakit po yung iba kumkuha pa rin ng NBI kahit usual country of residence ay "abroad"?

    @Electrical_Engr_CDR lahat po ng country na tinirhan ng 12 months pataas, simula nung 16 years old kelangan kumuha ng police clearance. Sa Pinas magkaiba ang police clearance at NBI clearance. Pero mas maganda kuhanin ung NBI Clearance. Kung based ka abroad at hindi ka na tumira sa Pilipinas after you turned 16 y/o, hindi mo na kailangan ng NBI Clearance.

    Sa case ko tatlong bansa ang tinirhan ko.. kaya kumuha ako ng NBI clearance at dalawang police clearance abroad.

    You can get it ahead of time while waiting sa invite basta be sure its not yet expired once mag lodge ka ng visa mo, kmi kumuha kmi ng NBI sa pinas one month b4 we lodged our Visa 190, tpos dito sa oz national police clearance kse andito kmi ngayon, yung hubby ko also get pcc from Qatar kse he worked 3 years dun :)

    @Electrical_Engr_CDR pwede ka nmn kumuha ahead of time lalo na kung mahirap kumuha ng police clearance sa mga bansang tinirhan mo. Pero hindi advisable na kumuha before the invite.

    Yung mga Police Department abroad nanghihingi ng copy ng acknowledgment lettter ng visa application with reference no. After visa lodgement and payment mo pa to makukuha.

    From the time of invite hanggang magkaroon ng case officer aabutin din ng around 40-50 days. Eto yung time na pwede mong kumpletuhin ung mga requirements.

    May expiration ung mga police clearance. Usually 12 months pero merong 3 mos or 6 mos. So dapat hindi pa expired yung ipapasa mo na police clearance pag ng-upload ka ng documents.

    Nakabase din sa expiration ng police clearance and medical exam ung Initial Entry Date (IED). Pag na-grant na ung visa, kung pa-expire na ung police clearance in 6 months, within 6 months kelangan mo mgtravel to Aus for your IED.
