After all the hardships from IELTS preparation/exam, difficulty in request of employment certificates, CDR preparation/waiting time, lots of money spent, etc.., we have reached the final stage of our application: the visa lodgement.

Good luck to those who already have submitted and will be submitting their visa applications this month!

By the way, recently ka lang ba kumuha ng NBI clearance sa pinas? Nag online application and payment ka din ba? Kasi I got a hit which I do not usually get. Some say dahil online application. Any experience like that?

yup recently lang. nagpa process ako kay Ms. Sandra. May hit din ako, related sa DOST scholarship ko, pro since ksama sa pinadala kong docs yung clearance from DOST, na clear din nman.

waiting for the letter of CO para makapagrequest ng CoC (Japan and Singapore).

Hi! Nakita ko lang po SG based din kayo... Just want to ask kung paano kayo kumuha ng SG CoC? Kasi according sa email nun agent namin, kailangan daw namin intayin yun letter from Case Officer bago mag-request. Pero according sa timeline mo, nakakuha ka na agad. Thanks!

hi @yosh10 may IMMI Acknowledgement of Application letter na magegenerate after makapaglodge ng visa application, available agad ito within lodgement process then you need to present this to SG Police for COC application. Pwede mo ito hingin sa Agent nyo. I think ito na ang trend nowadays para mabilis na rin ang application.

expiring na rin kasi passport ng wife ko(naks wife na) so we're planning to renew it first para di na kami magpasa ng change of passport details. mga 10 days ang processing ngayon kapag express, eh balak namin next week. Next week parin available ng marriage certificate and funds pang bayad hahahaha.

If you filled up your EOI correctly and you have substantial supporting documents for your claim, its almost sure to get a visa.

by the way, police check and medical check is another story. If you do not have problem with these two plus your claims then there is no reason for them to reject your application.

Hello, I just want to ask for guidance before magpa assess. Hopeful na makapag assess ny March din. Double time collecting docs. Ngayon ko lang kasi nakita yung ganitong path na possible para sa husband ko.

He's 25 = 30 pts
IELTS (Academic) = 20 pts
Education (Section 1 [UP] school - with Bachelors of Arts degree holder but with undergrad in Mech Engg) = 15 pts?
Work experience (3 years) = 5 pts
Partner Skills = 5 pts (with bachelors degree, CSOL (HR field but 1 yr experience), age is 22

TOTAL (as of my very rough computation) = 75

He's experience as Chief Welder-Fitter sa Engineering business ng dad nya. Detailed COE, JD, Payslips, ITR, Government contributions are all available.

Questions are:
1) Will experience required will affect sa pagkuha ng points? 189 ang plan namin actually kung ito yung route na tatahakin namin. Nalilito kasi ako sa may minimum required na experience for Welder-Fitter is 5 years pero Victoria Sponsorship ito.

2) Will his employment with his family will affect too? Nagwowork naman sya. Asset lang talaga sya sa dad nya kasi anak at mapagkakatiwalaan but kasama naman sya sa payroll.

3) TRA ang assessing body nya and di nila need ng IELTS. Sayang naman yung IELTS ng husband ko, ang taas pa naman nya. Talaga bang di un kasali sa points kapag di required?

4) Will his bachelors will affect the pointing system? He shifted out kasi sa BA nung undergrad pa sya but the TOR will show the history of his background in machines and engineering. Ngayon lang sya nagka chance mag complete ng units kasi konti na lang need nya grad na sya ng Engineering.

Please enlighten me. Thanks!

PS I will be studying masters by coursework pala this coming July 2015 kasama sila ng baby ko, so prolly dun na kami magaapply for 189. My friend said this is possible, sana may makapag attest na it's possible to transition from Student visa to 189. Thanks!

hi @anncardy7 , ano po ang nominated occupation na aapplayan niya? I believe yung 3223 - Structural Steel and Welding Trades Workers?

For your questions:
1. pag 189 po aapplayan niyo wala pong minimum experience required pero dapat closely related yung work experience sa nominated occupation. Pero kung state sponsorship, case to case depende sa state.

2. In my opinion, I do not see any problem if its a family business. As long as its legit and you have the necessary documents. I think ok lang naman.

3. First of all, ang galing ng asawa mo to get 20 points

Magagamit pa din naman kasi required ang IELTS pag nag lodge ng application sa DIBP. Ang di ko sure is kung pwede ang academic kasi nakalagay sa site nila:
The IELTS has an academic test and a general training test. You need only take the general training test unless your assessing authority tells you otherwise. You only need to provide the test report form (TRF) number or the test registration number that is on your English language test certificate. Your English language test results must be no older than three years immediately before the day on which you lodge your visa application

4. It seems that TRA requires that the degree is related to the nominated occupation (see comparable qualification):

Just sharing, may nakasabay ako sa CFO seminar dati na nag aral siya sa OZ then applied for 189 but its not necessarily na mas dadali ang application. Magkakaroon kalang siguro ng konting advantage lalo na kung yung tinake mo na course or masters degree can add up points to your application. In the end, you still need to qualify all the requirements for 189 whether you take masters or not.

@RED Hello thanks po sa advice. Yes, medyo doon ako nalalabuan sa equivalent na schooling. Akala ko kasi sa sectioning ng school yung base ng points. Undergrad sya ng engineering, kaya po parang it's a plus. Pero dahil paalis na kami ng June, doon na namin kasi iaapply sa Aus yung 189. Sayang din po kasi yung 15 pts sa education although may trainings provided. Ang taas po kasi ng IELTS nya dahil IELTS instructor sya sa Japanese. Sideline lang sa gabi. Hehehe

@jigsbugs hi actually ako (the wife) will take the student visa pathway. Dun na namin balak mag apply ng skilled independent visa (189) sa Australia. Naghahanda na kami ng docs for assessment. Mahal ang agency sayang ang bayad. Kung student ka, pa assist ka sa IDP free lang ang counselling at assistance kapag student visa

mukang after ng assessment e wala naman na kayong issue sa application. ok din case niyo kasi ang taas nga nung IELTS, yung iba nahihirapan nga maka 10 pts e (like me) haha. good luck sa application \:D/
