in Visitor - Tourist Visa
Nakapunta na ako ng Au twice on a tourist visa. One in 1995 and last one was 2006. Maganda naman un record ko and I only stayed less than 3 months on both occasions. First time ko mag apply online this 2015 and sa excitement ko na ilodge ko kagad after making payment and did not get all docs uploaded. Ma deny kaya ako? Un record ko nun 95 and 06 makikita naman nila sa system tama po ba? Kinakabahan ako sa katangahan ko :-(

    Documents can still be uploaded basta di pa nafinalised ang application...approval in Ph is usually 1 month

    Hi @fgs I read from another thread that you applied online for the visitor visa. It's been more than a month since I applied too via online. Did you receive any updates from DIBP?

    @dglsp My mom's tourist visa was granted last 24th of June. We lodged it last 21st of May so more or less 1 month yung processing.

    Occupation: Industrial Engineer
    11/05/2011 - IELTS exam at BC (L-6.5,R-6,W-6.5,S-6.5)
    02/06/2012 - EA received my CDR
    04/17/2012 - Received Favorable Letter from EA
    04/21/2012 - IELTS exam retake at IDP (L-8, R-6, W-6.5, S-6)
    07/03/2012 - Applied online for SA Statesponsorship
    08/13/2012 - SA SS approved
    08/16/2012 - Received an invitation in skill select
    09/11/2012 - Lodge a visa subclass 190
    09/13/2012 - Acknowledgement Receipt & Medicals Requested
    09/19/2012 - Medicals Done
    12/11/2012 - Medicals Finalised
    12/14/2012 - Visa Grant
    03/18/2013 - Flight to Adelaide
    04/22/2013 - Got my first Job

    @Galtraveller matagal na sila mag process ngayon unlike before 1-2 weeks lang processing nila. Yung sa sister ko until now wala pang result, nilodge nmin yun last June 2, mag 1 month na tomorrow so hopefully by the end of this week my result or early next week.

    Nagbabasa basa ako sa forum. Parang ang hirap ata magconvert ng Visit Visa sa Work Visa.. Mas lalo na mahirap mag apply online from Manila looking for a company to sponsor you lalo't na di ka kilala. Pinaka ok ata un Student Visa lalo na ako di ako Skilled Worker. Un nakakatakot lang un expenses ng International Student. May Study Now Pay Later ba sa Aussie?

    @Galtraveller Mahirap tlga to go here at visit visa and convert it as to a working visa. Wala pa kong alam na nagtourist dito then nag apply ng work at company yung nag sponsor ng working visa. Magiging costly kse for the company to sponsor a working visa and also madaming nman PR, temporary resident visa or student visa na andito na, yun nlang ihihire nila. Napaka liit ng chance, unless siguro kung yung skill mo is one of a kind and in demand. Madami nagsstudent visa as yun yung best way, kaso nga lang malaki yung expenses (show money, tuition fee, health insurance, accomodation etc...). About study now pay later here in Australia, they call it HECS here and it is for Australian Citizen only.

    I just rang the immigration office in manila to follow up my sister's tourist visa, they said medyo matagal ngayon mag process ang immigration manila sinasagad na 1 month or more than 1 month madami daw kseng pinoy na nag tourist visa na hindi na bumabalik kaya mas mahigpit sila ngayon. hayyyy...kakainis pati yung mga talagang magtotourist lang at babalik nman nadadamay dahil sa mga ginagawa ng iba.

    called border.gov.au dito re my mom's visitor visa.this is her 2nd time , i applied online first time only took 2 weeks now its 2 weeks ++ so I called ..
    and the officer confirmed the TAT for visa 600 sponsored or normal is 1.5months..
    that's sweet! tagal na ngayon ... hoping for the best and since her last xray was still within 1 year..

    Hello just want to share. My tourist visa has been granted. date lodged at VFS: June 30, 2015 . Visa Granted: July 2, 2015. This is my second tourist visa application. My first one took 28 days. And this one took 2 days!
    Just pray and wait maaaprove din ang tourist visa application nyo . :) good luck sa ating lahat! :)

    @Galtraveller ah ok. Weird. YUng mga friends ko kasi haven't tried the online application. They've been used to applying via AVAC. :( Lahat sila in the past around 4 days lang may grant na. Sana yata pinagppply ko na lang sila lola via AVAC.. I don't know the difference.

    Unfortunately, my visa was refused just today. Am just taking it siguro as a lesson not to apply for a visa while unemployed :-(

    @yameowguchi - I couldn't establish enough proof I'll be coming back to the Phils. And from the looks of it, nasilip siguro na most family members are already in Oz. Don't be too worried. There are some who are given visas even without employment. Totally depends on the circumstances. Good luck!!!

    @cessr I received that survey via email. Late na nga nung nasagutan ko kasi ideally need daw answeran within 3-4 days. :(

    @studentvisaboy - lodged June 29 and refusal came out Aug 10. Good luck! No worries yan if you recieved a survey on email. They didn't even give me that.
