Hi everyone, need your inputs po sana sa background ko before lodging ACS application
School and Course: Mapua, BS ECE, General average (~1.32)
Experience: Systems Analyst for 4 years
Certifications: ITIL Foundations, ITIL Intermediate OSA and RCV

Questions:
1. Magrant kaya ako ng Bachelors Degree Major in Computing?
2. May extra points ba if may latin award nung college?
3. Ilang yrs kaya ang possible na maregister ko sa EOI after ACS assessment? 2 yrs lang talaga, or may lean chance na 4 years? Thanks!

Lam ko minimum deduction is 2 yrs...so kng 2 yrs lnt counted syo..ala din points..at least 5yrs exp cguro pra may 3 yrs kang skilled. Unless pa assess ka tpos lets say 2 yrs lng counted syo, tpos kng andun ka pa din sa same company until mabuo 3yrs mo try mo na magEOI then provide ka nlng ng proof ng employment mo with the same company...or galingan mo nlng sa ielts ..

What do u mean latin award? I think alang bearing yan...but lets hear others

We're on version 4.0 (released July 2015) now and next update/review will be Jan 2016.

@glitch88 ilan lahat years of experience mo? ako mukang walang point makukuha..7 years lng ksi exp ko.. if ever ba pwede ko ipasa na lng yng updated COE sa pag submit ng EOI tpos mag claim ako ng 5 point pag nag 8years na exp ko.. possible ba yun?

Pde yan sa pagkakaalam ko.Bsta kailangan may updated coe ka with the same jd and same position. Syang ang points..bawi ka din sa ielts

@kittykitkat18 oo nga sayang ang point.. kng pwede ganun baka ipa assess ko na ngyn.. sa IELTS need maka 8 para pambawi sa nawalang point sa years of experience.

Good day to all!

Just got my ACS result after 10 days from the day of submission. Nakakaiyak ang result pati current points ko. At the moment, 35/40 points pa lang.

Confused pa ako if subclass 189/190

Subclass 189= 0 point or 189= 5 points
Age= 25 points
IELTS=
Qualifications (AQF Associate Degree)= 10 points
Overseas Work Experience=0 point (5 months lang considered)

Partner Skill Qualifications=

May question po ako... kapag icclaim ko partner skill qualifications kailangan pa bang mag-exam ni hubby sa IELTS? Kapag magpapa-asess kailangan po ba ang nominated job nasa SOL or kahit CSOL na lang?

At ito pa po... based sa ACS assessment ang Overseas Work Experience=0 point (5 months lang considered), possible pa bang akong ma-invite, let say mameet ko ang 60 points?

Please help po and I need your advice to push my aussie dreams.

Basta ma meet mo yun 60 points pwede ka na magsubmit nang EOI. Kung maperfect mo yun IELTS, 20 points na yun pasok ka na sa 190.

@nevergiveup pag magclaim ka kay partner ng points..neednya ielts and assessment din na dpat nsa SOL nominated job nya. Need mo makabawi sa IELTS and state nomination ka dagdag points.

@kittykitkat88, as programmer 6 yrs & 5 mos, SD Enginer 1 yr & 9 mos and IT Senior Consultant 4yrs & 9mos pero itong last 2 work experience are not closely related.

Need ko maka-8 sa IELTS... push pa more.

Hi Friends,

Would any one have an idea of the backlog of EOIs for Sys/Bus. Analysts? Last FY, the quota for SA/BAs was filled up within 6 months. Ito yata yung unang occupation na na-fill up.

Am I right to assume na we have at least 6 months of SA/BA EOI backlogs in the system?
Wherein if someone submits an EOI today, may more or less 6 months waiting time bago mapili sa draw?

Just speculative assumptions hehe. Thanks for anyone's feedback.

I started working April 2010. But as stated on ACS result, they considered my employment from April 2012 to present pero lahat naman suitable. So parang 3 years yung kinonsider nila.

@zitrojam at least makakapagclaim kyo ng points khit 3yrs. Ang bilis lng ng result sa ACS ah. Days lng meron na. Hubby ko main applicant sna this july makapag ACS na sya.kulang pa ng COE from current company. More than 9yrs experience sna two yrs lng deduction

Anyways..goodluck sa ielts..tuloy tuloy na yan.yan

Hello Guys,

Share ko lang, nag-lodge ako sa ACS last Tuesday night (14 July). Sobrang kabado kaya nalimutan ko i-upload ang certification docs ko (Microsoft & ITIL).

Just in case may makalimutan kayong docs na iupload, just send an email to [email protected]. Mabilis ang reply nila.

For my case, they ask for copies of docs and uploaded it for me.

I'm fairly new here. But I came across an old thread saying na only those without an ICT course but with ICT occupation needs ACS assessment?

E.g. me I completed BS CS degree and working as a systems analyst. Can I submit directly to skillselect without checking with ACS?

Another one is, does the below mean na ACS only gives out 10 points max?
If so, who can give 15 points for the second item? Kapag nagsubmit ng EOI pa lang malalaman?

I have a BSCS degree from PLM and I need to know if 10 or 15 points ang makukuha ko for qualification.

The ACS ICT skills assessment will assess if your educational qualifications and work experience are at a professional ICT level and closely related to the nominated occupation (ANZSCO) for migration purposes.

Your qualifications are firstly assessed to determine the AQF comparability using Australian national education standards.

After the AQF comparability is established, the course units are assessed to determine the professional ICT content of your qualification. Each unit is assessed to determine if it is considered an ICT professional unit or not.

This assessment outcome will determine if your qualification is a Major, Minor or if the ICT content is Insufficient.

The third element involves assessing the percentage of ICT units that are considered closely related to your nominated occupation as per the ANZSCO Code Information document which is referenced from the Australian Bureau of Statistics, ANZSCO - Australian and New Zealand Standard Classification of Occupations.

After this process of assessing your qualifications is completed, it will determine the amount of relevant work experience you require to meet the suitability criteria.

To answer your question more directly. No, everyone needs to go through ACS.
