    hi chuvalyn,

My friend who is a migrant in OZ visited me here in Singapore, napagusapan namin yung topic tungkol sa ganito case and he said medyo mahirap na raw sa ngayon ang ganito case. kasi napepenalize ung mga company ngayon sa australia for taking tourist.

Suggestion daw nya at kumuha ng appropriate work visa, para makapag work. ganyan din ang case nya nung 2005. nag punta dun at naghanp ng work, but that time sobra luwag pa raw. nagkaron din kasi ng issue about the refugees nasa australia ngayon kaya mas pinaprioritize din daw ang mga taong may proper work visa.

hope d ka na discourage sa story ko. but still kanya kanya pa rin naman tayo ng kapalaran. let me know ang outcome ng plans mo ha?

    Ty.

what if I have a student visa? What are the steps in getting work from a student visa to a work visa? I've heard there's something about SOL pa raw and points system, but I don't understand it much.

    Hoping for your assistance.

@JCsantos totoo ba pre ung sinasabi ng friend ni jayjee09? i mean d na ba uso talaga ung maghahanap ng work sa OZ then aapplyan ng work visa ng employer?

d2 kasi sa singapore uso dati rin ung ganon. mag totourist and then pag nakahanap ng work, aapplyan ng necessary work pass ung applicant ng employer. although medyo nag hihigpit ngayon pero marami parin pinoy applicants na nabibiyan ng work pass, lalo na kung IT or Engr.

@aolee inde uso yung ganyan dito, kung meron man swertihin kelangan mo pa ring mag exit ng australia employer will sponsor you then you go back

bawal sa australia mag hire ng tourist not like asian countries pag nahuli kang nagttrabaho dito ikukulong ka pababalikin ng pinas at ban ka for 3 years

@jayjee & JC....thanks po sa info....yun din mga nababasa ko sa ibang forum regarding sa topic na ito...actually kakakuha ko lang ng visa ko this morning..single entry lang binigay sa akin at may restriction pa na "permitted to remain in australia for 2 weeks from the date of arrival"...which means that wala akong chance na maghanap ng work with this short period of time...so punta ako dun for a holiday and then check ko na rin cguro kung paanu ang working process or kung may oppurtunity na makahanap ng prospect employer who is willing to sponsor me on my next visit to Australia para mas legal.

One more thing JC santos, may idea ka ba kung may mga shared accomodation dyan sa melbourne?gusto ko sana pinoy titirhan ko...magkano kaya ang per day...actually entry point ko is perth at nagbook ako ng 2 days sa hostel..after that im planning to go to melbourne for 4 days naman...wala pa akong nakitang matitirhan ko...thanks po sa info!
