A blessed day sa lahat, praying for our visa grant. My second application is with IDP Makati, I have attended their expo at Makati Shang in April tas ayun na. It's true na you have to be aggressive sa pag follow up. Ako I call almost everyday sa counselor ko nung nasa stage pa ako ng enrollment. Sept 9 ay na-submit ko na lahat ng visa docs ko and was advised that it will be lodged Sept 11. Today is Sept 14 and I think hindi pa na-lodge as I havent received any acknowledgement yet. Hopefully my second application will be granted. Praying for everyone's application, too.

Hi guys. Sorry to hear the bad experiences you got from IDP. Case to case basis po tlga cguro. With regards to the requirements needed they really know naman kung papasa tlga or not. For me kase hindi man ako nag agressive. I don't need to follow up kase i was always being informed by my agent on the process

Just want to share my timeline with IDP handling my application since day 1 ")

Subclass 573 ( SVP Level 1 ) 14 to 21 days processing as per my agent.

August 25 - Medical examination at SLEC
August 28 - My results were forwarded to the Australian Embassy ( i am the main applicant )
September 01 - My Agent lodged our application to the Australian Embassy
September 04 - My husbands medicals were forwarded to the Australian Embassy (a bit late because we declared his scar from previous condition)
September 14 - Agent sent to us the Health Undertaking form from the Embassy to be signed my husband. The same day he signed it and sent it back.
September 15 - VISA GRANT!!! Thank you Lord!!!
* the agent told me that CO started the assessment just last sept. 4 eventhough our application were lodged sept 1 because all medicals should be submitted first daw before starting the assessment. So considering that, our visa process was just 7 working days

@avp_manaloto hi Congratulations on your visa grant!

IDP experiences of everyone may not be the same for everyone but I believe IDP
May be able to help you further when you arrive here particularly on consequent visa concerns.
From what I hear also among other students who had their visa processed thru other educ migration agents, they give less priority and attention once the students are here already. Problems with enrolment, health insurance and so forth.

Anyway, to each his own--your research abilities should give you more informed decisions!

Hello po sa lahat. I inquired in IDP Makati regarding student visa. Okay naman po ang counsellor at matched naman yung mga nabasa ko dito sa mga sinabi nya. Ask ko lang po if, although wala pa naman akong nasisimulan like pagpasa ng requirements, ang business course po ba ay pathway or stepping stone din once I graduated in an Australian institute to my plan of having a PR? Or para lang sa mga technical, nurses (meds) and accounting ito? Salamat po sa mga sasasgot. Planning to take the IELTS sa kanila kasi the rest is on hand ko na, then apply for a student visa, pero kung hindi din sufficient ang pagtatapos ng business course sa kanila (AU) to have PR, baka magdecide ako ng ibang plans to migrate to other countries.

@joicey Hi I'm sorry ngayon lang ulit ako nakapag check. Well dun sa first appication ko which was Subclass 572 (Aged Care Cert 3 and 4 and Disability Care Cert 4). Sabi sa decision ay hindi daw satisfied yung CO ko sa financial docs ko. Actually kasi, bank certs lang ang ipina submit ng agent ko since used to sila na yun lang ang isinusubmit and never sila nagka prob. But very unfortunately, 2 kaming clients nila ang na refused for the same reason. Kaya eto, though Subclass 572 pa rin pero SVP eligible na, I process again thru IDP naman. Free kasi. Last agent ko which is based in QC, processing fee nila is more or less 60K. And to compare them with IDP, mas expert ang IDP. Sana nga nag IDP nako from the start. BTW, update lang regarding my visa application, IDP has emailed me na they lodged my application Sept 14. Sana this time ay visa grant na. Same prayer goes to everyone here na waiting din.

@boyhumble Hello, most of the time po ay ang sasabihin ng kahit anong agent (when choosing a course to study) ay dapat daw na related sa studies mo dito sa PHL. But I am sure mas madali na start ka muna sa course na related sa natapos mo dito then pag andun ka na ay kuha ka na ng course(s) which let you get a PR easier. Sabi sa ibang nabasa ko ay kadalasan ay healthcare, IT and culinary.

@JoeyPuno hi po. I was under IDP also and kaka grant ko lang ng visa. Sayang naman po pala binauad mo sa agency. King sa IDP la since first application mo hindi sila papayag na bank cert lang ipasa mo. They know everything and hindi i pupush applocation mo if your papers are not the right one. Based from experience lang po

ako kase ganun, i have to give them exactly what they asked for. Anyway goodluck sa application mo po

Hello, thanks sa reply. Yup, as per my IDP counsellor, dapat daw related sa course na tinapos ko dito, which is Bus. Ad. Pinakukuha ako doon ng Adv. diploma. After kaya maka-graduate ay mabigyan ng chance na magka-PR while having work? Pwede ba magstart ng application habang naka-post study work visa? Nag-GTE ka po? ano po nature? Exam or interview? May maisusuggest ka po bang business schools dun na mura? Is SVP always visa 573? Sayu po ba, di na daw need ng show money kapag visa 573? Daming tanong.. haha. Salamat in advance

@boyhumble Not all 573 are SVP. Depende sa school and course po. Kung SVP, sa visa lodging need lang ng declaration. May mga uni na nag aask ng show money.

Tanong lang po nasa first step pa lang kasi ako, IDP MAKATI agent ko. She told me the 1st step is to finalize Program, Institution and Qualification.. anyone of you guys na makakapagsuggest ng institution for Advance Diploma of Accounting? talaga bang 6mos lang ang full time ng Advance Diploma? @boyhumble Hi! Sabi sa nabasa ko somewhere dito sa net (di ko na matandaan anong website), at least 2 years ang course na kihuna mo ay pasok ka na sa qualification ng pag apply ng PR. Points-based daw kasi yun, siguro mas mataas na level ng course study ay mas mataas ang points. Hindi ko lang sure how soon pwede mag start ng PR application. Yung friend ko kasi, after ng 3-year bachelor nya ay nag apply na agad sya ng PR at approved sya. Marami Unis at schools, di ko lang masabi na mura sila at talagang gugugol ng malaki sa tuition fees. Yung GTE, pwede sya thru interview or questionnaire (from school). Saken kasi, I was required by the school na mag sagot regarding GTE - tawag nila dun ay statement of purpose. Mga questions lang baket gusto mo sa Australia mag aral, baket yun ang napili mong school/uni at course, anong plans mo after ng study mo, etc. Pero ang embassy they do random phone interviews din. In my case, since Subclass 572 - SVP eligible yung course ko, sa school lang ako hiningan ng show money. Hindi na ako nag submit sa embassy. BTW, it is best na mag attend ka ng Study Abroad Expo ng IDP on October 10, 2015 at Makati Shangri-La Hotel. May seminars from Immi reps about visa application. Tas andun din yung mga Uni/school reps ng mga partner institutions ng IDP, pwede consult all you want hehe. Ako, dun ko nalaman yung sa school ko e.

@avp_manaloto Wow congrats on your visa grant. Thanks for sharing good vibes. Naka 1-week na since I lodged my application and di ko maitatanggi na lalo ako kinakabahan. Oo nga e, sayang talaga at di ko agad nalaman ang IDP. Nagkulang din kasi ako sa research nun and masyado ako nag-rely sa previous agency ko. Kailan ka nag start ng application with IDP, if you don't mind me asking, sino rin counselor mo? Ako si Ms Alma.

@boyhumble Hmmn.. Nababasa ko rin dito sa forum, marami rin nagpa process sa AMS Global. According sa page nila, free of charge din ang service nila. Meron din education agent na Fortrust Phl, wala lang ako gaano idea about sa processing nila.

Nabasa ko na IDP ang agent mo and Alma yung name ng counsellor mo? Is she Alma Galvez? Diba NZ ang hawak nya? Siya kasi yung kumausap sa akin and magiging counsellor ko once I decided to choose studying in NZ. Dalawang agent kasi pinuntahan ko dati, for AU and NZ

Ano po pala ang graduate course mo dito? At ano po ang inaplayan mong course dun? ano pong degree? - adv dip, dip, cert 1 2 3.. at ano pong school? Hope you don't mind asking po

Thanks sa info. Mentioned lang ni agent yung 573 but not SVP. According to him, di na daw need ng show money kasi yung course na pinili ko ay kasama dun sa 573. Regarding po dun sa nabanggit mo na "visa lodging need lang ng declaration". Declaration of? Ito po ba yung GTE or proof of funds? Di din nabanggit ni agent na may mga universities na nanghihingi ng show money, sabi lang nya, per term ang payment. In case 2 terms, bayaran ko lang daw muna yung 1st (instalment) then saka magwait ng admission from them. Kaya sa tingin ko, basta 573, no need ng show money, mapa uni man or hindi.. tama po ba

@boyhumble Hmm, wait mejo na confuse ako. Kasi in my case, I applied to 4 universities. Yung mejo pricey na unis (nasa top 10 best in oz), di na sila nanghingi ng proof of funds. Yung 2 uni, nanghingi sila. Pero sa immigration, automatic na kapag SVP ang school at course, declaration lang (affidavit na may access ka sa funds) which is yun naman ang sinubmit ko di na ko naglagay ng bank certs nung nag lodge ako, after 3 days na grant na ko. Kaya mo yan, basta ask ka lang ng ask. Kung mag IDP ka, mas okay kasi ang IDP trusted yan ng immigration at mga unis, pag nag vouch sila sa yo, naniniwala sila na GTE ka.
