Hi everyone,

I called DIBP today to inquire about my application. Kinontak na kasi ako ng CO re additional required doc (nbi clearance) nung sept 9, at in-upload ko the next day sept 10. Haven't heard from the CO since. When I called DIBP today, sabi wait ako 28 days from the day the CO contacted me, requesting additional documents. I'm just wondering, how come yung iba nakakakuha ng grant, a day after or a few days after magsubmit ng additional docs? I'm not sure if I should be worried or just chill lang at maghintay? Ok n din nman kasi ang medicals namin buong pamilya (wife and 6yr old daughter included in the application), at I made sure I filled out the application form correctly, definitely no over-claiming ng points. Should I be worried? Any encouragements or otherwise are welcome. Salamat!

@kabre, i say just leave it and wait it out. Most likely is pareho tayo ng CO na palaging naka-leave kaya ganyan katagal yan. Wala naman red flags to indicate na negative ang results mo. No need to be worried. Dadating din yan for sure.

btw SG ka rin pala now at SA ang destination mo. Congrats sa grant! let us know kung settled ka na sa SA, who knows we might get a chance to meet sa SA.

@Madwax, malapit na lahat makakuha ng grant. Big move tentatively on June 2016. Madami aayusin para walang maiwan kasi mahal pamasahe. Initial entry sa school holidays ng mga kids para at least spring.

hindi din nafollow yung first initial entry date based on my medicals and NBI clearance kasi by Feb 2016 dapat nakainitial entry na kaming family.
Ok lang naman. hehehe.

Sali ako dito. 189 visa ako. My partner and i applied last july 4 pa. So meaning matatapos na ang 3month proccessing time on oct.4 bridging kami from 457 to 189 kaya nagtataka din ako bkt mejo matagal kasi sa pagkakaalam ko mas mabilis pag galing ka ng 457 to 189. Hindi ko din alam.

guys, ask ko lang, anu number if ever need ng follow up sa CO , received CO allocation last 14 Sept, kaso up to now wala news pa rin, no additional documents also being requested, tried 61131881 almost 45 mins na naka hold, also tried 61731367000 number is already closed.. email also GSM allocated wala naman reply.

@binoyski10 holiday sa au today so closed ang offices malamang, try calling tomorrow. In my opinion, calling them won't do much, just be patient and wait for the CO to contact you again

@bait0211 wala pa paramdam e 28th day ko kahapon. tumawag rin kami kahapon sa DIBP, sabi naman nila ngayon yung 28 days daw e yung time kung kelan pa lang babasahin ni CO yung additional requirements. paiba-iba sila ng sinasabi. so sa tingin ko mga palusot na lang yun. sobrang dami na talaga siguro nilang backlog. by next week pang 90th day ko na since nagpasa kami ng visa application. sana wag na umabot ng next week.

@ccanda77 apparently hindi. meron na nga din pinasa si misis na COE na ginamit namin sa ACS pero nanghingi pa din ng ITR and payslips. nakasulat kasi dun sa request nila na dapat patunayan mo na paid ang employment mo. sakin naman bakit magwowork misis ko ng more than 10 years kung walang sahod? hahaha.. weird lang talaga sila minsan.
