@jencandysweet di na need ng PRC ID as long as you have the PRC certificate of passing and board exam results. Di ako nagsubmit ng PRC ID. Pero nagpass ako ng PICPA active membership certificate (kase sa ICAA ako). I don't know id CPAA requires that.

@orange11 hi what do you mean by active PICPA membership certificate? Did you request from your PICPA chapter for a latest certficate? Meron kasi ako PICPA membership certificate na sabay ko nareceive when I passed board exam pero dati pa yun. Is it the same certificate? Thanks. By the way from PUP din ako.

Sana may makatulong... i am on the process of having a review of my assessment with CPAA as i got a negative assessment last April. After several communications with them, they advised me to send in a more detailed syllabus (that includes course objective, content & learning outcome), now I got it from my university. My concerns are:

1) i wanted to have an outline or cover page when i will submit it to them.. Can someone send me a sample?

2) i read here that colored scanned doc has no need to notarize or certify? Can i have the link to read on?

3) previously, i mailed my docs to CPAA, now i would like to try the upload thing.. how did you manage to group your docs? (the syllabus is quite big for one file)... any tips pls..

Appreciate any help i can get and thank u.

For #2- ang alam ko for visa application lang ang scanned colored docs. pero sa CPAA ang ginawa ko is naka CTC lahat.

@jencandysweet yes, you have to renew your membership with PICPA yearly kase. Yung certificate na binibigay nila eh yearly lang tapos ang fy yata nila is July to June (not so sure) so kung manghihingi ka ng certificate now you will get an active membership cert up to June next year. Then to secure that you have to pay for the membership fee. If you have not been active for so many years you will have to pay 'amnesty' fee yata yun which is Php 2k plus 1k for current year membership. Check in their website na lang.

@jencandysweet in your case, since overseas ka, contact mo na lng ang PICPA dyan tpos sabihin mo pa member ka. I think hindi sila maniningil sau ng fee for being inactive for the previous years since overseas ka. I have a friend who is an active picpa officer there, I will try to get her contact details bigay ko sau.

@batman Thanks! I have also a contact with PICPA here but I think I need to request a certificate from my local chapter in the Philippines. I already contacted them. Thanks for being helpful.

hi everyone, my school doesn't release detailed syllabi. i am in the process of working on a stat dec of the required subjects based on my books and some of the syllabus i have kept with me. but i need help on the subjects: Management and Cost Accounting and Financial Accounting and Reporting. may i humbly ask if anyone can help me on this? i haven't completed yet the stat dec as i cannot remember everything T.T. meron po ba ditong makakatulong sakin na may sample syllabus? I will use them as a guide lang po ng pagkakasunod sunod ng mga topics.. Thank you..

Hi, bago lang ako dito and really its a big thing to know that i am not alone in doing this. So far i am waiting for an invitation (sana sa October 23 or November mainvite na..) Anung ginawa nyo? nakalagay sa CPA australia website "If an official syllabus cannot be obtained, we will accept an unofficial syllabus that you have written yourself, as long as a statutory declaration can be provided, which confirms that the syllabus you are providing is an accurate representation of what you studied." Please let me know thanks kasi not available daw sa school ko.

anyone who could response with this po? thinking of nominating accountant na rin due to limitations in internal auditor occupations.

Hindi rin ako nakakuha ng syllabus from school. Yung syllabus namin eh listahan ng mga subjects from 1st year till graduation pero hindi raw sila nagbibigay na nito.

Ang nahingi ko is subject descriptions. Nagbigay ako ng mga subjects na required ng CPA Australia tapos me small descriptions na binigay yung Deparment of Accountancy namin.

Hi Everyone, I'm a CPA here in the Philippines and my husband is already in Australia with a PR visa. We applied for a partner visa last July 2015 and currently waiting for the result. I just want to seek some advice on how can I easily find a job in Australia once ma-approved na visa ko. As I read from other threads here, mahirap makahanap ng work sa Australia. Advisable ba na magpa-assess na rin ako sa CPAA? Please give me some inputs. Thank you in advance.

@JRG_02 based on the inputs I have read in here. If you want to be a member of CPAA or ICAA you need to have an assessment. Unless you don't have plan to pursue your accounting career in AU.

@ImB yung small descriptions na binigay ng Department of Accountancy nyo ito din pinasa mo sa CPAA. Tpos nag ask lng sila other information sila? ano dinagdag mo?

tia for the input same case kasi ang subject description ko kaya hesitant ako I pasa. although may detailed ako. pero hindi sa school ko galing. branch lang kasi yung school naming naka kuha ako copy from main.

@batman hello. Yan nga ang pinasa ko sa CPAA. Pero apart from that, me mapping pala kong ginawa that shows eto yung required subjects nila then eto yung mga subjects na tinake ko to address that.

Yang additional information na hiningi nila eh regarding sa transcript at diploma ko. Gusto nila authenticated ng DFA. So binigay ko yung authenticated copies.
