    @batman, to be honest hindi ko na ni-check kung anong section ng school ko at hindi naman sya pasok sa top 5 universities sa pinas haha.

    I guess, yung requirements ng CPAA applies to all, regardless of your school.

    @TasBurrfoot, mukhang hindi naman. Siguro natyempo lang ako sa mahigpit na assessor.

    Pero on a second thought, I am based here in Dubai kasi. To process your Dubai Visa kailangan nila ng DFA authenticated yung mga school docs mo. Nalaman siguro nilang dito ko based so alam nilang meron akong DFA authenticated docs kaya yun ang nirequest nila...

    @orange11 i already submit my EOI claiming 65 points though im rattled by these cut offs as mark is as high as 70 (Sept-October) and as late as August. Do you think i need to review my IELTS once again to increase points or wait?

    @TEEjaySpursfan If 70 points is the last invite that means a lot of 65 pointers are also waiting for an invite... So if I were you (and if funds is not a problem) I'll try to sit my English test again and aim for a band 8, but will do it probably with PTE because I heard that their scoring system is more generous... I'll do whatever is in my control to get there :)

    @pink di ko alam sagot sa tanong mo but in my view, tatangapin yan. Audit is an accounting work and for as long as you can demonstrate in your detailed job description that what you did was accounting, you'll be fine. Just try and put it in your application for skills assessment, you will never know until you do it :) Been there, my case was more complicated but was successful. :)

    Hi after almost 1 and half months of waiting my school only issued me a course description in 5 pages instead of a syllabus. Does anyone here tried submitting course description instead of syllabus for CPAA assessment? If not, what is the alternative that you have done for this? Quite disappointed... :(

    13 Sept 2015 - IELTS result positive (L-7.5, R-7.5, W-7.5, S-7.0) Overall-7.5 (after 4 attempts! Thank God!)
    20 Sept 2015 - Started gathering docs for CPA Australia assessment
    29 Dec 2015 - CPAA Skill Migration Assessment acknowledgement of application
    07 Jan 2016 - CPAA positive assesment - work experience reduced by 2 years.
    21 Jan 2016 - Completed documents for additional work exp to be submitted to CPAA for update (Additional $118)
    10 Feb 2016 - EOI NSW (65+5 points)
    12 Feb 2016 - CPAA acknowledge receipt of Application for Employment update
    01 Mar 2016 - Received positive employment update from CPAA. Addtl 5 pts for work exp. EOI revised from 190 to 189 for 70 pts.
    09 Mar 2016 - ITA 189 received & UAE PCC obtained
    10 Mar 2016 - Visa 189 lodged
    14 Mar 2016 - NBI clearance obtained
    22 Mar 2016 - Medical at Nationwide Makati
    04 Apr 2016 - Direct grant visa 189 (GSM Adelaide). Thank you Lord! (06 Mar 2017 - Initial Entry Date)
    20 Jan 2017 - Big move (Sydney)
    15 Feb 2017 - First day of work! (Thank you Lord!)

    @jencandysweet course description lang sinubmit ko...pero 5 pages lang talaga? Puro accounting subjects?!

    @cpa_oct2011 puro acounting subjects yun basta lahat ng subjects na related dun sa required na competency areas ng CPA Australia. Gumawa rin ako ng subject mapping baka makatulong. Sa yo ba ilang pages?
