question lng po sa mga ngpa assess n sa cpaa, required po b yung sa picpa? or ok lng kht wla na? kasi balak ko yung cert n lng ng prc nung pumasa ako ang ibigay. hnd n rn kc ako ngrrenew sa picpa. nghhnayang ako sa pera at time na mgrequest p s knila kung wla nmn msydo bearing.

then yung ctc, as in per page po ba yun? pati sa mga syllabus?

and lastly, pano po kau ngsend ng docs for assessment? sa site kc nila may online app form then sabi pwde scan each page then email. pero meron din nmng mail tlga na hardcopy. alin po sa knila ang mas advisable? or pwde ba both gawin? thanks po.

@aria i dont think importante ang picpa documents kasi sa akin school syllabus lang at naging positive pa rin. cpaa focuses more on your school syllabus.

lahat ng front pages ng docs mo dapat may ctc pero d na kailangan ng ctc ang syllabus.

online application na lang para mas madali kasi i send mo lang through email ang scanned documents. once you apply makakatanggap ka ng instructions on how to send your documents through email.

question din po pala sa subject na Accounting Systems and Processes, ano yung subjects sa college na minap niyo sa kanya? kasi wala kaming subject na exactly Accounting Systems and Processes sa college. meron kaming Accounting Information System pero nakita ko kasi sa cpaa na yung core subjects dati magkaiba pa ang Acc Info System sa Acc System. then meron kaming Fundamental Acc Theory and Practice, iniisip ko yun na lang ang I-map ko sa Acc Sys&Process? icconsider po kaya yun?

then yung sa work, kung meron na pong COE in prescribed format, sufficient na po ba yun. kahit wla na akong payslip and tax returns na isubmit? tia!

@nedz separate nila pinadala sa akin. ang employment assessment result ko ay pinadala nila after 2 weeks ng skills assessment result.

@aria may dalawang subject kami sa school namin about accounting systems analysis at accounting softwares. Iyon ang sinama ko, sinali ko na rin mga subjects relating to elementary accounting.

need nila ang payslip or ITR to prove na paid ang employment mo. They dont rely on the COE stating your salary details.

Hi, anyone here who got a negative assessment from cpaa and took the foundation exam/s? I needed to take kasi ung Financial Accounting and Reporting but hndi ko mafigure out kung pano mag apply for the foundation exam.

can anyone help me? Also, do you have idea kung ano exactly ung kailangan nilang topics sa syllabus? I tried asking kasi but I havent received a reply from them. I submitted a detailed syllabus and all the topics in their website for the subject Financial acctg and reporting were there nman but still ung result ay not completed.

hi again, i saw na my cpa program account. kaso blank sya. walang nakalagay na subjects completed and wala rin ung fin acctg and reporting na need ko enrolan. do i have to request cpaa to update my account or should i just wait for it to be updated? thank you po sa makakasagot.

di na kaya pwede magpare-assess pag negative makuha? kasi kung mag-eexam ka pa di ba hindi na ma-crecredit ang work experience? not sure though parang may nabasa lang ako na ganung case dati. if you don't mind me asking po, yung syllabus niyo po ba galing mismo sa school or statutory declaration then may mapping and naka-detailed per subject nung college?

@aria yes ganun na nga po, feeling ko nman mapapasa ko ung exam kung pag-aaralan kaso yun lang, hndi mccredit ung work experience.

galing po sa school ung syllabus pero detailed nman sya e.. and ung mga topics na nsa website nila ay nandun nman sa syllabus ko. i tried asking kung anong kulang kaso ayaw nila akong sagutin confidential daw.

Hello.. question lng po ulit sa mga nagpa assess sa cpaa at nagpass ng docs online. I sent 2 emails, 1 for the primary supporting docs and another for the syllabus. I received an automtic confirmation reply right away for the first email. However, i didnt receive any auto reply for my second email. I checkd my sent mail and it was there so i didnt bother resending. Besides, i mentioned that i am sending 2 emails. After 9 days, i have received a request for syllabus from cpaa. So ibig sabihin, parang di nga nila nareceive (?) yung second email ko last time. I resent the syllabus today twice pero i still did not receive an automatic reply. Im worried bka hindi pa rin nareceive yung syllabus ko. Kasi it would seem na yung mga email na sinisend sa migrationupload ay hnd tlga nbabasa. And for upload lng tlga nung pdf files. For those who sent multiple emails, did you always receive an auto reply after sending each?

@TasBurrfoot thank you so much! Did as you advised and sent my appeal for review to ICAA. 1-day processing time lang sila I'm so happy I got positive qualifications assessment na. Suitable for migration. next will be the skills assessment.

@strayan hi po. Congrats! San nga po ulit kayo nagpaassess? sa cpaa or icaa? kasi parang yung huling post niyo po sa cpaa kayo. Sa cpaa din ako nagpa-assess kaso halos isang buwan na wala pa rin ako positive result kht s skills or s employmnt. May mga iba p clang hnhngi. Iniisip ko kc kung mas okay kaya mgtry ako mgpa assess nlng s iba.

hi @aria. Thank you! both. sa cpaa negative tapos pinasa ko sa icaa negative ulit pero nagtry ako mag appeal. i submitted a mapping of subjects. kaya nagpositive.

ay tlg 1 month na ung sa cpaa mo? ang alam ko on time nman sila lagi na 8-10working days..

Received an email today from CPAA approving my claim to be entitled to pathway 1 per the Pathway Agreement.

2 things...

First, nasurprise ako na hindi na nagrequest ng additional information ang CPAA regarding my claim, I just emailed them saying I believe I am entitled to this.

Second, I was even more surprised hung 2 subjects na lang ang kelangan kong itake and those are - Ethics and Governance at GSL.

I'm probably one of the first beneficiary of this agreement so salamat sa PICPA hehehe. Makakatipid kami pati mas madali

Nakareceive ulit ako ng panibagong email this morning from CPAA nagkamali raw sila at apologies daw. 3 subjects daw kelangan kong itake - including Financial Reporting.

Ok lang, masaya pa rin. Half the price and effort pa rin

@lmB congrats!!! Ilng years na po kayo as CPA? Kasi from what I read is 10 yrs ung mga eligible for pathway 1? Tama po ba?

4 yrs palang po kasi ako and ASA na ako sa CPAA pero di pa ngstart sa exams.. Hehe... Sana pede din ako sa pathway 1 para tipid. Wahahaha

In your case, why not do the exams as early as now habang bata ka pa...

hello, new to this thread. sino po recently nag pa assess sa ICAA? how's the experience? Sabi ng agent namen dun daw kame mag pa assess for management accountant.

having read the latest on CPAA and PICPA MPA, baka better na mag pa assess sa CPAA now? Although Tier 2 school ako, pero CPA naman with >10 years of experience. Appreciate some thoughts.
