@travelart thanks. Sa kanila pala manggagaling yun... Nung Wednesday daw kasi last week nila ilolodge. So nagpapanic na ako ngayon gawa nga nung sa signature mo... Parang 3days lang. Ahahahahaha. I've emailed them na. Hopefully they'll answer para mabawasan paranoia ko.

anyway, thanks and congrats sa grant. Hopefully I'll update my student visa story soon ng may VISA GRANT din sa dulo.

last wednesday daw kasi ilolodge ng IDP and I was expecting sometime today yung acknowledgement, actually. Nakakaparanoid especially when I look at the timelines here na mga less than 5days inclusive na minsan ng weekends. Anyway, thanks for the answer. Hopefully I'd be updating my timeline to a visa grant soon. Sana. Crossing fingers and praying to God. Congratulations din sayo.

@beeeeeeemari Yes, I got the acknowledgment email from them. Just want to share na nung nag inquire ako, I made it clear to them that I need the visa grant at least 2 months before the start of classes. Nakakatawa pa nga kasi my husband actually begged the IDP counselor that was assigned to me to process my papers asap. As in paulit ulit nya sinabi 'wag kalimutan i process yung documents ko. Haha! Sabi pa nya, my wife needs at least two months to adjust sa OZ kasi napakaOA nyan. So please... Hahaha! Cry cry na nga ako parati dito ngayon. Ang oa talaga! Pero, yung future na lang iniisip ko so there's no turning back! Go lang!

@travelart ang galing naman ng setup nyo. i actually planned to do the same. be in QLD before the new year - madramang new life, new me ang peg. Pero my mom convinced me na since magisa lang talaga ako dun... as in no relatives whatsoever, mas magandang maoccupy agad time ko sa school. so Feb 1 dating ko - OA ba na bumili na ako ng ticket wala pang visa? And besides, yung OSHC ko, Feb1 effectivity. Nagpa-insure pa ba ulit kayo to cover the 2 months prior nyo?

Oo I have 2 sons. umiiyak na nga ako minsan sa gabi. feeling ko hindi ko kaya pero dapat eh.

Anyway, guys may bagong dilemma pala ako sa application. I just got an email from ECU:

"Evidence (official academic transcript) that states total number of credit points achieved in the Bachelor of Science in Architecture with University of San Carlos. The official academic transcripts and the completion certificate that were submitted with the application do not state the total credit points the applicant achieved in her undergraduate degree."

-I submitted my diploma and TOR

I went to my school earlier and they had me request a CERTIFICATE OF UNITS EARNED

Has anyone tried this? My friend who was my classmate and we graduated with the same course and year only submitted her TOR. But she applied last year. wala naman problema

I am just confused kasi sa school hindi din nila alam yung hinihingi ko. assumption lang namin yung certificate of units earned.

Hoepfully accepted toh.

Just checked it with a kababayan who have just arrived in melbourne and she said she was not required to have that cfo sticker. I think ganon rin sa dependent dahil pareho kau naka student visa

btw, about your queries, if I'm not mistaken, credited subject from your bachelor course. for me, I ask credits for my subject personally with the school admin, I got 2 subjects credited. cheers

I think that's fine. Hmm, akala ko standard sa mga TORs from Philippine colleges and universities na nakalagay yung units earned for each subject... wala ba talaga sa TOR mo yung information na yun?

Also, yung course mo sa ECU, Program Management. May I ask why you chose this course? I'm just curious, and if you don't mind my asking, anong plans mo eventually after finishing the course?

@pc3 Palakasan nalang talaga ng loob! You're lucky because you can always call them. Sa baby dog ko, hanggang video nalang. Di ko man lang makausap :-( Sana makauwi ako kapag vacation break. Bahala na si hubby kumayod pang tuition ko. Lol!

Sa case ko naman, sa USC ako nag first year. But I transferred to Manila in my second year. Gusto ko kasi talaga sa Cebu (andun kasi nun si boypren, haha). Kaso, mga ate ko sa Manila. So, sa TOR ko, kasama yung records nung first year ako sa San Carlos (letterhead ng USC). TOR ko sa USC naka attach. Wala namang hiningi ng kagaya sa yo. Depende ata sa university. University of Newcastle po ako. Sydney campus.

@Samantita Hello po. Masters in Technology po kinukuha nyo? Nagpacredit po kayo ng subjects? Yung sakin kasi, na credit nila yung subjects ko initially. So, 1.5 years lang dapat. Nag request ako na wag nila i credit kasi sabi ko antagal na nung last ako nag aral. Pero yung real reason ko talaga, kailangan ng 2 years para makapag add ng 5 points para dun sa Australian Study requirement and para maka apply ng post grad visa afterwards. Granted naman yung request ko. Pano po yung sa inyo? Ilang years po?

Nabasa ko dati na parang sabi nyo po yung Accounts Receivable clerk na job di pwede para makapag claim ng points as Accountant. Can you please share the link kung ano yung mga occupations na pwede (para guide ko lang)? Negosyo, housewife tapos, online job kasi working experience ko. I want to make it right this time. Nag Google na po ako, pero di ko mahanap. Thank you!

@jamez00016 SVP po? I received my visa grant after 2 weeks. But technically, 10 working days lang kasi nov 9 yung acknowledgement, Nov 20 yung visa grant. So, I think, yes. But of course, the earlier the better!

Hello po, pasok pa naman ako sa 2yrs requirement for PR. currently, 4 subjects ako every semester and since my credit ako na 2subjects so sa last semester ko kay 2 subjects nlng kukunin ko. sayang yong na credit sayo, para indi ka na magbayad. pwede naman na hindi mo e-enroll lahat para aabot ka sa 2yrs. but anyways, welcome to Australia very soon, enjoy mo lang days mo sa pinas..

Hello po. Hindi po ata pwede na mag-underload para lang maging 2 years ang duration ng study pag nakakuha ng advanced credits, kasi ang nakalagay sa Australian Study requirement is ganito:

Example 2:
If a course is CRICOS registered for 92 weeks (two years) and consists of 12 equal weighted units, you would be required to complete all 12 units to meet the Australian study requirement.
If you were granted credit based on study in another course also registered with CRICOS, then these exemptions could still contribute towards meeting the Australian study requirement regardless if a qualification was awarded for this other course.
However, if you are enrolled in this course and given any credit based on non-CRICOS registered study you will not have completed two academic years study and would fail to meet the Australian study requirement.
If you fall short of the 92 weeks of study due to exemptions you have received, you have several options to meet the Australian study requirement. Options could include:
-have the university rescind the exemptions so you must now successfully complete these subjects to be awarded your qualification
-complete additional units that are at the same level as the exempted units (or higher) and which are accepted by the university as award units for the qualification, such as an elective unit.

Pakicheck po carefully sis @Samantita kasi baka hindi mo masatisfy yung 2-year requirement kahit na 2 years ka mag-aaral kasi nga may 2 units na hindi mo inaral sa Australia. This might give you problems later on like hindi ka magiging qualified to apply for the temporary graduate visa (or claim the 5 points for Australian study requirement) in case you're planning to stay in Australia after your studies.

@appledeuce question po. my course was initially a 3-year program. pero nacredit sakin isang semester. so i'll be completing my program in 2.5yrs. balak ko magapply ng post grad visa after... so with how I understood your quoted answer above, non-CRICOS credits might affect the study requirement... but since I completed 2.5 academic years under CRICOS the non-CRICOS credit won't matter as much na ba? did i understand my situation correctly? thanks.
