    @FrenchMilk Congratulations on your visa grant! Hindi mo na kailangan mag email sa SA. But when you get here, you shall let them know so they would send you those survey questions periodically, plus if you want you may book their free seminar for new arrivals. Isa pa, if you are coming from Phil, make sure you make an arrangement with CFO (commission on filipinos overseas) for your PDOS para hassle free ka sa immigration clearances. Have a good one.

    i am still employed dito sa PH. balak ko tapusin muna ang taon bago ako mag re-sign sa job ko. then prepare for like a month or two bago ang big move down under.

    do you think it's a reasonable plan?

    ideally, ok sana kung makahanap na ng room to rent bago pa dumating pero base sa nababasa ko, yung iba pagdating pa lang diyan saka pa lang hahanap ng room

    bukod sa pinoyau, ok din ba makahanap ng room to rent sa gumtree etc.?

    bukod sa pinoyau, ok din ba makahanap ng room to rent sa gumtree etc.?
    That sounds like a good plan for the big move and i don't see any problem on that. As for the room for rent, you can try both (gumtree or pinoyau) just be sure that may confirmed accomodation ka na once you get here. Kung matagal tagal pa naman at hindi urgent I can help you out if may nabakanteng room with pinoy housemates.

    Hello everyone, I just got granted visa 190 to South Australia. Plan ko punta ng AU by January 2016, then sunod na lang mag-ina ko after about a year. I'll be needing everyone's help/advice and assistance regarding job hunting and accommodations soon, so please bear with me. I'm still doing my research about re-writing resumes, job hunting etc, and will post more specific questions in the future. Thanks in advance.

    Hi guys, I wanted to ask how the economy in Adelaide is doing? Is this still true : http://indaily.com.au/opinion/2015/02/24/hold-skilled-migration-until-sa-economy-improves/

    I am a systems administrator and I wonder if anybody here has the same skill and how hard to get that kind of job in SA. Because for my skill, the visas in scope are only these two : skilled nominated 190 or skilled regional 489. And right now, the only state that sponsors systems administrator is SA.

    Thanks so much and appreciate any first hand information.
