@fgs, yup nakita ko nga sa immi website. Salamat na rin!

May isa pa akong tanong, sa mga naglodge online this year, certified true copy ba yung mga attached docs nyo? I know someone who did not attach certified copy docs; she attached scanned original copies. Tinanggap naman, nasa AU na siya. Kinakabahan kasi ako, may mga docs ako na hindi certified copy, original copies lang meron ako. Baka hindi tanggapin? E.g, yung passport, puwede ba na scanned copy na lang? Napapacertify true copy ba yun sa DFA in the first place? Tinatanggap din ba nila yung authenticated docs, yung may red ribbon from DFA?

Doon sa part na ililista yung dependents, dapat ko ba isama lahat ng members ng family ko (parents and siblings) kahit na hindi ko sila talaga dependent? Sabi kasi list ALL your family (accompanying or not). Wala naman kaso kung ililista ko sila, ang prob tinatanong rin yung country of residence since 2005. May kapatid kasi ako na mahirap na i-trace yung country of residence nya since 2005...

I remember nilagay ko din lahat..why not just out philippines yong isa ming kapatid na mahirap na itrace ang countries where he lives or just out 1 country n sure ka...i thunk ang ourpose naman nito is just to verify kung may mga family members ka na residing in high risk countries( like TB etc.). Di naman yan iveverify isa-isa

@fgs, okay na. Hindi pala dapat ilagay sa non-accompanying dependents. May isa pang option dun na other family members. Dun ko sila lahat nilagay, hindi na nirequire yung country of residence.

Btw, would you know the answer to my question re certified copy docs? Kapag online application ba, dapat certified copy talaga yung iattach o puwede na original copy? May kakilala kasi ako na hindi naman certified copy inattach nya, nasa AU na siya hehe. Pero last year kasi yun, baka mahigpit na sila this year?

@fgs, I see. Bahala na, kelangan ko na kasi magsubmit before June. Hindi certified copy yung passport at birth certificate ko. Siguro naman they would ask me to have it certified kung kelangan talaga...

Btw, how did you get your passport certified? Sa DFA, yung authentication dun? How long ang processing?

Yung birth certificate naman, sa pagkakaalam ko, ipapacertify muna sa municipality kung saan ka pinanganak tapos sa NSO main office sa QC? Tama ba? I had mine certified in the municipality level pa lang. Matagal ba processing sa NSO?

@guboer notary public is authorised to authenticate all docs...no need to go to the issuing office...nasa website ang list ng pwede magauthenticate

@fgs, got it bro. Read it sa immi website. So either ipa-notarize sa notary public or ipa-certify dun sa office na nakalist sa immi website? Tama ba pagkakaintindi ko? Hehe.

Ikaw saan ka nagpacertify? Dun ba sa office na nasa immi website? How much do they charge?

@guboer yes tama...sa notary public ako nagpanotarised...not familiar sa charges kasi sister ko pinaasikaso ko..they charge per sheet..

@guboer hindi ako nagpacertify ng any document.

tinanggap naman nila scanned copies. Then I submitted all the reqts and medical within 28 days. Wala na naassign na case officer. Derecho grant na.

Btw. I lodged my visa last Feb lang.

@makarunee... wow congrats! Sana ganyan din sa akin hehe. Btw, anu-anong mga docs inattach mo? birth cert, diploma, transcript, passport, passport size pic, english proficiency exam report, medical exam result, nbi clearance? May kulang ba?

Dun sa medical exam and nbi clearance, hindi ba dapat hintayin ang advice nila? Hindi ba sila nag-email sa'yo bago ka nagsubmit? Basta diretso submit ka na? Kelan ka na-grant/ approve?

Magagamit ko ba yung license ko after board exam sa Australia? Iniisip ko kasi kung aalis na ako or hindi at magantay ng board exam. Feeling ko kasi nagaaksaya na lang ako ng oras dito kung hindi ko rin naman siya magagamit dun.

Nagsubmit ako nung Feb 26. Granted April 14 2015. Nakita ko pala ng PTE ung inexam mo, tama ba? How was it?

@pseudoaussie I think di recognized yung license natin dito. Though mukang mas okay na kumuha ng experience muna bago pumunta doon para makatulong sa paghahanap ng work. I heard medyo mahirap daw maghanap e. or swertihan lang talaga

@makarunee, hintayin ko na lang ang email nila. Hindi naman ako nagmamadaling umalis haha. Yes, nag-PTE ako imbes na IELTS kasi mabilis magbook. Puwede magbook kahit 24 hrs before your preferred exam date. Tapos within 5 days may result na. Sa case ko 1 day lang ata haha. In terms of exam's difficulty, hmm....same lang ang level ng difficulty pero mas komplikado ang mga type ng exams kesa sa IELTS. Pero sa tingin ko, mas malaki ang chance na makakuha ng mataas na score sa PTE kesa IELTS. May mga modules kasi na more than one skills ang tinitest. Hindi tulad ng sa IETLS, kung listening, listening lang; kung speaking, speaking lang; etc.

Hindi ata Immigrant Visa ang 476... If so, hindi required ang PDOS and CFO sticker

I just learned that 476 are mostly engineers coming from UP? I wish I had this subclass when I was younger

August 14 - IELTS result (OBS: 8.0)
August 31 - Lodge
September 23 - CO Allocated
October 7 - Medical Exam at Nationwide
October 9 - NBI Clearance
October 20 - Form 80 and 1221
October 21 - CV
October 22 - Visa Grant

Initial Entry Date - October 9, 2016

Nagulat rin ako sa bilis nila mag-grant. Anyhow, anong itatanong ng immigration sa airport (both sa NAIA and OZ)? Kailangan ba magpakita ng return ticket?

Hello guys, I have 476 visa as well. Nasa Pinas pa ako, June 2016 ang expiration ng first entry ko. Pero nagdadalawang isip pa ako tumuloy.

Seeking advice sa mga tumuloy na, madali ba makahanap ng trabaho? Chemical engineer din ako, with MS in environmental engineering and with 2 yrs experience on envi management and consultancy.

@guboer I suggest sa Perth (WA) ka pumunta at subukang maghanap ng work sa mining/engg companies. Medyo nagtanggalan ng jobs this year na pwedeng magrollover until next year pero marami pa rin namang nagtatanggapan on the side (city-based work) and with your quals, merong consulting firms na willing to take you on board. @guboer If you're apprehensive, take a 1 week vacation anywhere in Oz just to fulfill the initial entry rqments. That way your visa doesnt expire, and you have 18months to think about moving down.

Finding a job and migrating is a risk, in all honesty. But risks come with rewards if you play it right. I am glad I took it.

@heysoulmister they might ask about the visa as it's not particularly popular, so bring your visa grant notice.

You don't have to show a return ticket.

Hi, I just want to ask about the requirement for having a valid Medicare card or receipt of enrollment with Medicare or health insurance in Australia. Recent requirement lang siguro siya kasi nung chineck ko naman yung reqts dati wala namang ganun. Alam niyo ba kung pwedeng magenroll sa Medicare kahit nasa Pilipinas pa? Or kung paano makakakuha ng health insurance sa Australia? Thank you.

Guys, question.
Me and my fiancee are about to get married in March 2016 before we leave the Philippines to make our first entry in Australia on April 12, 2016. Our 476 visas, two individual application, were already granted. We are to notify our COs about the change in civil status a day after our wedding. Do you think the change in civil status could result to our granted visas being cancelled?
